This week's episode Xander & Stone discuss the legend himself: The Mothman. Also known as the flying man, or the Thunderbird, Mothman gained popularity in the mid-60’s after famously causing the poorly constructed Silver Bridge between West Viriginia and Ohio to collapse and kill over 40 people. Described as over 7 feet tall with a wingspan in excess of 10 ft, a ripped set of abs and glowing red eyes (though some have reported yellow or green eyes too) Mothman has been sighted from West Virginia all the way up to Wisconsin and Chicago - and there are even stories of this mysterious winged creature in the Ukraine. Is Mothman a benign creature sent to warn us of major catastrophic events? Maybe the Mothman is the malicious cause of the events? Are ghostly hitchhikers somehow connected to Mothman? People who have had a Near Death Experience (NDE) often report very similar experiences the light at the end of the tunnel, being welcomed by loved ones who have passed over, feeling at peace and in the presence of a Divine Creator. These reports often seem based on the principals of Heaven and Hell. A very Western-religious experience. With the sheer number of people who make claims of having an NDE, there has been an impressive amount of research done by science and medical professionals. But what if your religion and culture have a different belief structure when it comes to what happens to us after we die? Supposing you've got even the most fleeting interest in the paranormal. In that case, you will probably have heard about Skinwalker Ranch in the Uinta Basin in Utah, USA. For centuries the Uinta Basin and has been one of the most active paranormal sites in America. Even before settlers moved in, the Uinta Basin was known for its unusual energy and supernatural events. Steeped in Navajo folklore and feared by the local indigenous peoples, Skinwalker Ranch has become the focus of serious scientific study in the last few decades. Dubbed UFO-Alley by the locals, UFO sightings and humanoid-like aliens and cattle mutilations are frequently reported by visitors and surrounding residents of Skinwalker Ranch. Bigfoot, Dire Wolves, and something akin to The Predator have been spotted around the 500-acre property. And did we mention the Inter-Dimensional Sky Vortex? Release The Kraken! This weeks episode is all about famous sea monsters and water creatures that lurk in the depths of our lakes and oceans. The mythical sea monster, with giant tentacles and insatiable appetite for seamen (teehee), The Kraken, has been a part of mythology and folklore since man first set sail. Has science finally found proof that The Kraken really exists? Of course you can't have an episode about legendary water and sea monsters without mentioning Nessie - The Loch Ness monster - but did you know that there's also a Norse Sea Monster that scientists are still attempting to study.
