Puaka Matariki Festival
Summary: The Dunedin Puaka Matariki Festival celebrates the Māori New Year through a citywide programme of community events, including shared feasts, Mātauraka Māori wellness and science lectures, Toi Māori visual arts, music and dance performance. Timed to coincide with the midwinter rising of the star cluster Matariki, the 2022 festival runs from Tuesday June 21st to Sunday July third.
