One Girl One Mic

It's that time again!! Time for the UAW Big 3: Ford, GM, and Stellantis (Chrysler) to negotiate our contract for the next 3 years. Last time I sat down with Mark McElroy to discuss these issues we were faced with and now 3 years later I'm joined with another great Union Rep. and union brother Rodney (also a childhood friend). This time the fight is different because as of 9/15/23 we are officially on STRIKE! A bottle neck strike might I add which is the 1st of its kind! History is being made right before our eyes! Listen as me and Rodney answer some questions people may have concerning the contract and hear the prospective from ACTUAL union workers involved in this fight! After listening I'm positive you will understand our fight and stand with the UAW in solidarity.

Hey Ya'll! We are at episode #40! Yay! So, you know it's only right LB bless the mic with her presence. OMG! So many laughs! I would apologize for the laughing but I'm not sorry. WHEW!!! OK, ya'll I was finally able to get this male platonic friendship episode done! The 1st two attempts didn't go BAAADD but nah, I had to bring in my High School male BFF!! Rodney!! And man did we unpack some stuff!! iLL Will joined us along with his nephew Nygel, who was able to give his insight from a younger perspective. My brother missed his episode and decided to join in on the conversation as well. Great episode! After recording these episodes my opinion on male and female platonic friendships has totally changed. Nineteen years, 7 months, and 12 days is the amount of time Marvin Cotton sat in a State prison for a crime he did not commit. In this episode, I sit down with Marvin Cotton on his 90th day of being released from prison, exonerated of ALL charges, a free man now. We talk about his beginning years leading up to his arrest, life in prison, fighting everyday for his freedom, and Life After. Marvin is now an advocate to help other men and women that have been wrongly convicted. After interviewing him, it really made me look into the integrity that prosecution holds. How can they can continue to prosecute people while being fully aware that laws have been broken and rights have been violated in the process? How are they not held responsible for this negligence?
