Bryan is a pianist and comes from a musical family, his father is the legendary guitarist Francis Coletta who worked with artists like Whitney Houston, Quincy Jones, and Frank Sinatra among others. Emiliano was born and raised in a region of Uruguay dominated by African colonials and got widely influenced by what’s called “The Culture Of Candombe”, pure African tribal rhythm coming from the colonialism. Since a very young age, Bryan has been influenced by soul, jazz, and funk, which he uses now in his creations with his strong capacity of improvisation and versatility. Emiliano moved to Europe 15 years ago where he connected with the music, starting to form his style in the electronic music world, making music together with Chus & Ceballos and Joesky (USA). Together, Bryan and Emiliano form Sparrow & Barbossa, creating a fusion between organic and electronic progressive sounds. Their age difference has a positive influence on both their releases and performance. While Bryan brings the freshness of modern sounds and melodies, Emiliano fine-tunes the rhythmic part and brings his knowledge built up throughout the years. Globe-trotters, they’re true lovers of ethnic and lost cultures, devoted to transmit this legacy through electronic music. Sparrow & Barbossa are most known for their track Yeke that charted number 1 on Beatport afro house together with Enzo Siffredi’s remix. Every time it has been a so and emotionally outstanding, that checking the line up was an obligatory move to make. And then it always said: LEVT. You can already tell, that he is one of the most uprising stars of his generation. But no wonder, since the young DJ and producer grew up surrounded by electronic music. Early inspirational influences have been Daft Punk and The Chemical Brothers. These were followed by the music universe of Katermukke. Since he has been 16 years old he spent every free second at the turntables to refine his sound. Still on the side there was high school to be finished and juniors A-league football not to be neglected. But it turned out his heart is beating with and for the music so there was no other option than throwing himself into producing his own music. The result is his first EP “The Beast”, which is released on Voltage Records. As the name already announces does it present his sheer powerful and furious side. In addition does a Remix by Felix Kröcher underline the promising nature of his productions. With this EP does LEVT already start to fight against the thinking, that the youth is only dedicated to rap and techno got a recruitment problem. From heavy metal to brit pop to industrial techno, what touched and created a mood was absorbed by her. Growing up in the MTV generation, fascinated by the vibes of the Berlin Love Parade, Sarah found a way to implement her own musical creativity. Starting with harder techno, she finally found her style in melodic ethereal sounds with a progressive touch, but still driving and bassy. Sarah loves to create an atmosphere in her sets, to take the listener on an unforgettable journey. Following these encounters he started fanatically collecting and listening to records, until he made his first trip to the Loveparade in Berlin in 2006. This experience left a lasting impression, and he realized that his connection to electronic music was stronger than ever before. A dream came true when Fabian founded Monopolar in 2015; friends became members of a closely-knit music community and acquaintances turned into friends. Next to organizing a variety of electronic music events in his hometown of Rudolstadt, Fabian also started DJing and through that set out on a journey of findings his own emotional style and sound. Strongly influenced by music, and the collaboration with close friends, Fabian at times also creates his own tracks, some of which were already released on Deepwithyou Recordings. He has now joined Traum Schallplatten with the track „Lunar“ onthe Tour De Traum series and releases his debut solo Ep „ Lava“ in January 2019 on Traum Schallplatten. Fabian uses his DJ sets to tell stories and to share events that occurred in his life with his audience, and he believes there is no better medium for him to articulate his thoughts and feelings. In doing so he gives free rein to the many genres and facets of Techno, allowing a free flow instead of clearly defining his style. From soft and melodic soundscapes, to subtle background details, and deep and heavy baselines, all these are part of Fabian’s musical story telling. Longstanding musical experience merges with a fine-tuned sensibility for expressing emotions to create an intriguing and sometimes mad entity that brings you spellbinding electronic music. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
