After a vicious attack sent him to the hospital with serious head injuries, he wouldn't name his attacker and voluntarily left the hospital prematurely. In 1991, Bryan Ruff went missing from his security post at Kennecott Copper Mine. Suspicions started being directed towards a friend of his, Dale Bradley, after it surfaced that Bryan had an affair with Bradley's wife. Even after Bryan's body was found 2 years later, no arrests were made. That was until the murder of a wife and mother, Crystal Bradley, brought Dale Bradley back into the investigation of Bryan's death, leading to a conviction or murder. In 2000, a mystery caller phoned 911 stating they saw someone slip through the ice at Pineview Reservoir. Investigators found a vehicle at the dam belonging to Sheri Stark and a suicide note. As the investigation moved forward, detectives determined the mystery caller was Sheri herself.
