 Imagineer Podcast - Episode 36 - Disney Magic at Home | File Type: audio/x-m4a | Duration: 01:12:26

While we love traveling to the Disney Parks, one of the saddest moments is having to leave. Whether it happens when you're boarding the Magical Express, crossing through the gates from Walt Disney World, boarding your plane, or arriving at your front door, the "Disney blues" are bound to set in at some point. To help cope with these Disney blues, we as Disney fans often purchase merchandise, watch videos, listen to Disney music and even light scented candles to help us rekindle that magic. In today's episode, we'll discuss our favorite ways to bring the Disney magic home with us. How do you cope with the "Disney blues" after your vacation? What are some of the ways that you bring the magic home with you? Send me your feedback via email or through direct or public message at any of the following and [with your permission] I'll include your message in a future show: Facebook: www.facebook.com/ImagineerPodcast Instagram: www.instagram.com/ImagineerPodcast Twitter: www.twitter.com/ImagineerAudio Facebook Group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/imagineerpodcast/ NEW!  Imagineer Podcast - Episode 35 - Trader Sam's Grog Grotto | File Type: audio/x-m4a | Duration: 01:17:31

Of all the longes at Walt Disney World, Trader Sam's Grog Grotto might be the best. Although wait times to get in can often skyrocket during peak lounge times, it's worth stopping by this "tropical hideaway" to enjoy the atmosphere, the Easter eggs, the Cast Member entertainment, and of course the food and beverage selections. In this podcast episode, we'll sip on a few beverages and enjoy the ambiance of Trader Sam's at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort.  Imagineer Podcast - Episode 33 - Disney This or That Volume 1 | File Type: audio/x-m4a | Duration: 01:36:43

Welcome to our first "Disney This or That" podcast episode! Disney This or That is a game that is meant to stir up conversation and debate about our Disney favorites - favorite Disney Parks, attractions, movies, snacks, and much more. In today's episode (volume one), we debate who we would pick as our favorite Disney hero from the Disney animated movies between 1990 and 2018. Examples include Aladdin, Hercules, Mulan, Moana, Mr. Incredible and more. With so many animated Disney characters to choose from, you'll hear why we had so many differing opinions on the subject. Which Disney animated hero is your favorite? Would you have chosen a winner differently or do you agree with our group's decision? Send me your feedback via email or through direct or public message at any of the following and [with your permission] I'll include your message in a future show: Facebook: www.facebook.com/ImagineerPodcast Instagram: www.instagram.com/ImagineerPodcast Twitter: www.twitter.com/ImagineerAudio Facebook Group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/imagineerpodcast/ NEW!  Imagineer Podcast - Episode 32 - Listener Questions | File Type: audio/x-m4a | Duration: 01:14:01

Since I started the Imagineer Podcast, I've had the honor of building so many amazing Disney friendships, and in that span of time, many have reached out to me directly to ask questions regarding vacations to Walt Disney World or Disneyland, becoming a Cast Member for the Walt Disney Company, and even how to stay connected to the magic when back at home. In today's episode, I'll open my inbox (email, Facebook, Instagram and more) and answer many of your Disney-related questions. Answering these questions with me is my good friend, April Beisser, who knows a thing or two about working for the Walt Disney Company and about traveling to the most magical place on earth. You can follow April on Instagram and Facebook at Imagination Destinations by April. What other questions would you like to ask about Disney? Whether you're looking for vacation advice or simply have a Disney-related question, I would love to answer you in a future episode of this show. Send me your questions or feedback via email or through direct message and I'll be sure to answer in a future episode: Facebook: www.facebook.com/ImagineerPodcast Instagram: www.instagram.com/ImagineerPodcast Twitter: www.twitter.com/ImagineerAudio Email: imagineerpodcast@gmail.com NEW!  Imagineer Podcast - Episode 31 - Interview with Disney's Guy Spagnoli | File Type: audio/x-m4a | Duration: 01:00:37

When I first created the Imagineer Podcast, I wanted to pay homage to Walt Disney Imagineers, the creative geniuses who design and create the Disney Parks & Resorts. That's why I'm incredibly proud to be able to share an interview I had with a retired Engineer, Guy Spagnoli, who knows a thing or two about Walt Disney Imagineering. Guy is not only a gifted and experienced Engineer; he's also a caring Cast Member even to this day (years after officially retiring from the Walt Disney Company). In today's episode, Guy and I chat about his experiences working for the Walt Disney Company and his outlook on what it takes and what it truly means to be a Cast Member for Disney. I think you'll find Guy's story and perspective on life and work to be incredibly inspirational. What do you find to be most inspirational from Guy's story? What is your dream job at the Walt Disney Company or elsewhere?  Imagineer Podcast - Episode 30 - The Timekeeper | File Type: audio/x-m4a | Duration: 48:07

As the Disney Parks continue to evolve, there are times when attractions we love must sadly close to be replaced by another. One of those attractions at the Magic Kingdom was The Timekeeper, a show that existed in Tomorrowland between 1994 and 2006 (and at Disneyland Paris and Tokyo Disneyland in the late 1990's and early 2000's). In today's episode, we'll step into our "podcast time machine" to experience Timekeeper at Walt Disney World. We'll also discuss a few fun details and facts that you might not have known about this experience. Did you get the chance to experience Timekeeper at Magic Kingdom (or even Disneyland Paris or Tokyo Disneyland)? If so, what did you think of the attraction? If you did not get the chance to experience it in person, what do you think of Timekeeper after listening to this episode? Send me your feedback via email or through direct or public message at any of the following and [with your permission] I'll include your message in a future show: Facebook: www.facebook.com/ImagineerPodcast Instagram: www.instagram.com/ImagineerPodcast Twitter: www.twitter.com/ImagineerAudio Please also join our Facebook Group https://www.facebook.com/groups/imagineerpodcast/ and invite your friends to join as well.  Imagineer Podcast - Bonus Episode - Rope Drop at Flight of Passage | File Type: audio/x-m4a | Duration: 01:05:08

When you visit Walt Disney World, one of the most important decisions is deciding which attraction to visit first. At Disney's Animal Kingdom, I usually recommend that you head straight to Flight of Passage first thing in the morning (unless you are able to get a FastPass+). In fact, it's usually best to show up at least 30 minutes before the park opens in order to reduce your wait time in the standby queue. In this bonus episode, I'll take you with me for a full ride through Flight of Passage at rope drop. We'll enjoy the ambiant sounds as you walk with me through the queue and then hop on the back of an Ikran (aka a banshee) and take an exhilarating flight through the Valley of Moara in Pandora, the World of Avatar. Want to skip the line? Skip ahead to 42 minutes. When you visit Disney's Animal Kingdom or the other Disney Parks (Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Disney's Hollywood Studios, or even Disneyland or Disney California Adventure Park), what are the attractions you like to head to first? Send me your feedback via email or through direct or public message at any of the following and [with your permission] I'll include your message in a future show: Facebook: www.facebook.com/ImagineerPodcast Instagram: www.instagram.com/ImagineerPodcast Twitter: www.twitter.com/ImagineerAudio Please also join our Facebook Group https://www.facebook.com/groups/imagineerpodcast/ and invite your friends to join as well.  Imagineer Podcast - Episode 29 - Disney Partnerships | File Type: audio/x-m4a | Duration: 01:18:59

Throughout the last few decades and especially in the last 15 years, The Walt Disney Company has engaged in several licensing partnerships and a handful of major acquisitions. Most notably, the last two decades have brought us Pixar, Lucasfilm, Marvel and now Fox, providing so many new opportunities for experiences in the Disney Parks. In this Imagineer Podcast episode, we discuss the significance of these partnerships and acquisitions when it comes to visiting Walt Disney World, Disneyland, and the other international Disney Parks.
