With the Don Julio 1942 flowing, Game kept it all the way candid and honest in his interview with the homies. He spoke about his upcoming ‘Born 2 Rap’ album and why it’s his last, addressed Nipsey Hussle’s unfortunate passing, said he’s never lost a bet to Drake, reacted to the Lakers acquisition of Anthony Davis, and a whole lot more.

Chicago rapper G Herbo stopped by to chop it up with us about a wide range of topics. We talked about his recently-released ‘Swervo’ album, how he connected with Southside for it, said Kanye West is disconnected, and more.

TK Kravitz explains the importance of being an authentic artist and rapping about real life without fronting. He also talks about how he connected with Jacquees to make the single, “Ocean” saying, “We got into the booth together, sitting right next to each other, which is why the song flows so well.”

Being the hottest producer currently out, Justin Credible and DJ Sourmilk had to bring Tay Keith to the Power 106 #LIFTOFF to talk about his success, working with the biggest artist in the game, his beat-making process, and more. Although he is making hits out here, Tay says he plans to wrap up his senior year in college and get his degree. He also went on to praise Drake for helping him and BlocBoy JB make a better life for their families and bringing Memphis rappers together. Tay also looks back to when people used to clown BlocBoy for trying to rap and how they first met.

Atlanta rapper Lil Baby has been on fire, so it’s only right he dropped in on the Power 106 #LIFTOFF for a sit down with Justin Credible and DJ Sourmilk. Lil Baby discussed how he connected with Drake on “Yes Indeed,” detailed his upcoming project with Gunna, and gave them a taste of what its like to record in the studio with him. Lil Baby also said he believes Drake doesn’t get enough credit for helping up-and-coming artists come up and credits him for much of his own success. The track “Yes Indeed” blew up in a way he had not predicted, and he claims there wasn’t much thought to it.

Gritty New York rapper Don Q stopped by the #LIFTOFF to check in with Justin Credible and DJ Sourmilk. With his upcoming ‘Don Season 2’ set to drop August 31st, Don shared details on it and his collaboration with 50 Cent and A Boogie off the project. Along with project talk, Don also talked about his recording process, influences growing up, told a story of losing his mom’s CD Player with 50’s ‘Get Rich Or Die Tryin’ in it, revealed which West Coast artists he wanted to work with, and more.

Bubbling rapper Juice WRLD stopped by and had a conversation with Justin Credible. Jus talked to Juice about a wide range of topics like his Billboard charting single “Lucid Dreams,” his ‘Goodbye & Good Riddance’ album, how he got his name, his relationship with Lil Uzi Vert, who he draws inspiration from, whether he cares to make the XXL Freshman list next year, and more.

Before hitting up his sold out show at The Shrine Playboi Carti checked in with us and talked about the influence Chief Keef has on his music, hitting the runway for Virgil Abloh's first Louie Vuitton show, and who he looks up to in music.

Being one of the hottest producers in the game at the moment, you know we had to bring Murda Beatz in for a chat. Still smoking off Drake’s chart-topping smash-hit “Nice For What,” the mega producer revealed the pair made the song in an hour and a half.
