Summary: The purpose of this podcast, The HeART of Dating, is to unmask the ever so ambiguous world of dating in the Christian world. While there are resources spread out across the years, there are not many centralized areas where Christians can access dating advice, help, and guidance easily and in a fashion that is accessible. The ultimate hope is that the HeART of Dating Podcast will start a healthy conversation for men and women and provide wise input and direction as we answer some tough questions and uncover some transformative ways to develop a healthy attitude and approach to dating as a Christian.

The first EVER guest on the HeART of Dating Podcast is a long time friend of Kait’s as well as the pastor of her Church here in Los Angeles, Ger Jones. Ger current pastors Vintage Church Los Angeles, a church committed to word and spirit ministry, intimacy with God, loving mission and deep community. Since the launch in 2011 Vintage has grown to over 1300 in Sunday attendance over three campuses across Los Angeles! Ger is married to his wife Lizzie and they have a dynamic and powerful marriage and are parents to 3 lovely children, Amy, Naomi, and Sam. *** Kait and Ger discuss some incredible dating essentials necessary prior to entering into relationship. They define what dating looks like today as "a beautiful journey of finding the person you are going to love and serve for the rest of our lives for the glory of Christ.". Ger and Kait also discuss if you have to have it altogether before dating and overall how to test our priorities (#neccessary). Ger stresses the importance of mentorship and what that actually SHOULD look like for men and women in dating.
