As awesome as social media and electronic devices are, they can be distracting and destructive if not used properly. That's why we need to teach our kids the ins and outs of the digital age they were born into. We don't keep our kids away from social media and screen time, but we do want to let them experience them in age appropriate ways. 

Being a mom is hard. It demands all your time. I'm talking 24/7. There are always mouths to feed, a house to clean, groceries to get, laundry to do, kids who won't sleep, and a practice or two to get to. As awesome a moms all are, there comes a time when she just needs time for herself to rest and recharge and become the mom she wants to be again. Sometimes, instead of getting mad, you just have to admire the creativity involved in your kids' epic messes. Because before we had kids, we had no idea how many ways there were to flood a bathroom floor.

What's the number one question people ask homeschool moms? "What about socialization?"  First off, if you want to start a fight with a homeschool mom, ask her that question. That has led us to our question to people. "Do you even know what socialization means?"
