Unfortunately, McClane felt the need to stop wearing deodorant every day. Luckily, he felt more of a need to start wearing it again. However, he is curious about things that we used to do consistently that for some reason we don’t do anymore! What is that, and what was it? As newly married couples, we must consider how to encourage and honor one another. The cast spends time talking about how they practically make that happen. Everyone has a different opinion about gun rights. Sometimes that opinion is only because guns can be scary! Do any Huddlecast members own a gun? Find out! Since we are all in our car several hours of the week, how do we spend that time? Do we have something specific on our mind?
There are things about us that are unique. Sometimes so unique that we are self-conscious about them! Take some time to get it off your chest and share it. Do you enjoy traveling? Not the point where you get to your destination, but the actual travel you must do to get there. Alexa and Graham despise the airline industry because of some negative experiences. Aside from things you are self-conscious about, what is the secret to your sexy? Just beware, it won’t be a secret anymore. On a more serious note, how do you manage relationships with non-believers vs. believers? Should there even be a difference?
It wasn’t too long ago that we have all experienced embarrassing moments at our jobs. Each of the cast share a story from their own jobs. Alexa shares her struggle with finding identity in the right thing. For her, social media grabs her attention. What defines your identity? Graham and Tara recently babysat a family for a weekend and had a change of heart toward children... or did they? And finally, Tara hopes that everyone can relate with her strange out-of-body experiences. Or perhaps she is the only one.
It’s not every day that you can get God Father rights. Graham wins McClane’s children’s God Father rights during McClane’s bachelor party. And what else is different about marriage? Both couples, newly married, reflect on the things that were unexpected about marriage. Alexa is struggling with trusting the sovereignty of God with her life. She wants to plan and have certainty, well don’t we all? How can we be confident in the plans God has for us? Think about that while enjoying your next massage. That massage could be relaxing, or awkward according to McClane.
Have you ever paid attention to the emojis that you use the most? The cast begins with explaining their most commonly used emojis. Alexa realizes that pickpockets exist outside of the “50s movies”. What do we do on a regular basis to keep our things safe? McClane confesses that he has become emotionally attached to the characters in TV shows that have ended. What other TV shows do we become unnecessarily attached to? Jesus commands his believers to make disciples of all nations in Matthew 28. What are we currently doing to seek disciples or to be discipled? This discussions remind us of our need to spread the Good News. Finally, Graham ends with a Nestle chocolate milk commercial idea.
McClane and Alexa had a awkward experience simply trying to enjoy from frozen yogurt! It made us think about how we feel when employees check up on us while shopping. As young married couples, we are looking forward to the days of owning a home… or are we? We discuss the pros and cons of buying a home. This episode was recorded not long after the solar eclipse, so Graham and Tara explain their experience in totality, and ponder the reason why God created the stars and planets. And finally, Alexa seeks some advice about finding a community in their new church.
