The Revs opened up the 2020 season home stand hosting the Chicago Fire at Gillette Stadium. We talk to Kyle McCarthy, from the New England Soccer Journal and highlight all the missed opportunities for 3 points. We then preview the Revs’ return to the pitch at Gillette to host the Portland Timbers with Sheba Rawson, official reporter for the Portland Timbers at SwitchThePitchSoccer.com.

This week, Ray, Jon and Alex welcome back Sean Sweeney, of Boston Sports Journal and Jason York of MLSSoccer.com, to unpack a season opening loss for the Revs in Montreal.  Then we’ll look ahead to the Revs their 2020 Home Campaign in Foxborough and hosting what appears to be a very new Chicago Fire FC. To help us with this preview we bring in Brian Sandalow, the Chicago Fire beat writer at the Chicago Sun Times.

Before the team takes the field in Montreal on Saturday, Ray, Jon and Alex share thoughts on the last preseason match along with the preseason overall. Then we bring Tristan D'Amours who is the correspondent for the Montreal Impact at Pro-Soccer USA for his insight on the current state of our opponent for first kick.

Season 4 of Six States One Podcast has arrived! Its a new decade and a new MLS season just around the corner!  Ray, Jon and Alex kick off the season with Julian Cardillo, of Pro-Soccer USA, and breakdown all the off season roster moves along with an initial assessment of the team's preseason on the west coast. Then we have a special interview with Revolution Fan Favorite Kelyn Rowe who is back with the team after two short stints in Kansas City and Salt Lake City and joins us from Preseason camp!

The Revs fell short down south and concluded a turnaround 2019 season on a 1-0 loss in Atlanta, officially ending their playoff run in the first round, and setting their sights on what could be a dramatic off season. We review the game and start discussing what this off season could look like by talking it up with Julian Cardillo, of Pro Soccer USA, and  Frank Dell’Apa, from The Boston Globe

New England heads back to Atlanta Saturday to face the defending MLS champions in the first round of the 2019 Eastern Conference playoffs. We bring in former MLS player Bobby Warshaw and now contributor to MLSsoccer.com to give us his perspective on this first round match and the MLS playoffs overall.  We then dive a little deeper into what Atlanta's tactics and approach might look like with Jason Longshore, color commentator for Atlanta United on 92.9 The Game.

The Revs dropped their season finale at Atlanta United FC on Sunday, 3-1. Arena called the game a “dress rehearsal” for the forthcoming one-game season as New England prepares to return to the playoffs for the first time in three years. Undecidedly the underdogs, they’ll head back to the Big Peach and face the Five Stripes in less than two weeks. Can this team pull off the upset? We talk it up with Julian Cardillo, of Pro Soccer USA, and Felipe Cardenas, of The Athletic.

Then we’ll look ahead to the Revs upcoming trip to the Bronx New York to face NYCFC. Matt Reed, Editor, SBI Soccer, joins us on the show to discuss what we can expect from the playoff clinching opponents.

If the Revs do make a return to the playoffs in 2019, Gustavo Bou’s blistering, left-footed strike in the 86th minute Saturday against the Chicago Fire may be seen as a pivotal impetus. The win keeps the Revs above the red line and in sixth place. We talk about it with Julian Cardillo, of Pro Soccer USA. And we welcome back Tej Sahota, of Waking the Red, to see what the Revs are up against when they face a Reds side that has only lost once in its last five matches.
