With the NFL draft behind us and training camp merely a few months away, Kevin Steele (@fantasywrath13), Ben Cummins (@BenCumminsFF), Ryan Williams (@RyanAlexander_W) and Dynasty Frank (@DynastyFrank) are ready to start diving into this season with an early look at 2017 Buy Sell options. Veteran RB’s on the Move Marshawn Lynch, Oakland Raiders Where are you aiming to get him in redraft? What teams should consider him in dynasty? Jamaal Charles, Denver Broncos Is there anything left in the tank after back to back knee injuries? What is his value in Denver alongside CJ Anderson? Where do you feel comfortable drafting him? Adrian Peterson, New Orleans Saints Will we see 2016 AP or 2015 AP? How do you see the Saints using him? Where would you draft him? Early 2017 Buy Sell Strategy Zero RB was all the rage last season, but early ADP shows a huge run on the position in the first two rounds. What are your thoughts on implementing a Zero RB strategy this season? Who are some non-rookies who should have an increased value? Based on early ADP numbers, who are some undervalued players people should be buying? Who are some overvalued targets people should avoid or sell?  2017 Rookie Wide Receivers with Matt Harmon | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 0:00

The Fantasy Authority Fantasy Football Podcast Ep. 86, April 13, 2017. Kevin Steele (@fantasywrath13), Ben Cummins (@BenCumminsFF), Ryan Williams (@RyanAlexander_W) and Dynasty Frank (@DynastyFrank) welcome back NFL.com Analyst, host of the Backyard Banter, Fantasy Hipsters and NFL Fantasy Live Podcasts, as well as the creator of the reception perception, Matt Harmon (@MattHarmon_BYB) to the show! It’s only fitting (and certainly no coincidence) that we’re talking 2017 Rookie Wide Receivers as we continue our countdown to the 2017 NFL Draft. Examining the Big Picture How does our brain play tricks on us when watching film as we try to confirm our own biases? Does a WR in this class come to mind when speaking of brain tricks? How do you keep bias out of it when charting the reception perception? What signifies a positive or negative grade against coverage on a play by play basis? When charting success rate against coverage, how many yards of “separation” does one have to get in order for it to be deemed a success? Do you ever struggle in categorizing plays and giving grades when the players assignment isn’t clear? Top Tier 2017 Rookie Wide Receivers Corey Davis Mike Williams JuJu Smith-Schuster John Ross Chris Godwin Breaking Down the Top Tier What parts of Corey Davis’ game shined when you charted him? Do you have any concerns with taking a WR, like Corey Davis, from a small school? Mike Williams wasn’t as good against man coverage as Davis. Was this the main reason he falls to 2? Do you feel Juju Smith-Schuster’s struggles can be attributed to poor QB play and/or inexperience? Are you concerned with John Ross’ inability to get consistent separation despite being the fastest player in the league? Chris Godwin showed an ability to run the full route tree and win in all areas of the field. How much of a boost does this information give him in your eyes? Second Tier 2017 Rookie Wide Receivers Carlos Henderson KD Cannon Zay Jones Curtis Samuel Malachi Dupre Cooper Kupp Isaiah Ford DeDe Westbrook Taywan Taylor Breaking Down the Second Tier Dynasty Frank is in love with Carlos Henderson, so what makes him fall to tier 2? Ford was a fun guy to watch on tape and you highlighted many reasons to like him, did any glaring issues show up on tape for you? Watching Taywan Taylor on film you see a wide receiver who plays bigger than his 5’11 frame. Why do you think he continues to be overlooked by many? Third Tier 2017 Rookie Wide Receivers Ardarius Stewart Chad Hansen Josh Reynolds Ishmael Zamora Robert Davis Josh Malone Amara Darboh Ryan Switzer Artavis Scott Mack Hollins Match Game with Matt Harmon

Examining the Big Picture What are some things that you look for in the 2017 Rookie Runningbacks? Is there any reason a team should consider taking a RB in the first round? Are any 2017 Rookie Runningbacks worthy of a first round pick? How do you handle fantasy players with horrible actions in their past, like Joe Mixon? How important is landing spot/system for these running backs? Can a prospect with RAW talent excel more than the top tier guys if they land in the right spot? Top Tier 2017 Rookie Runningbacks Christian McCaffrey Leonard Fournette Dalvin Cook Joe Mixon Alvin Kamara Breaking Down the Top Tier What are the biggest positives you see from this top tier? What are some concerns you have with them? Could the Ezekiel Elliott and Jordan Howard recency bias cause unfair expectations of this top tier? Is it better for top prospects to run at the combine or at their pro day? Breaking down the juiciest landing spots for each of the top rock carriers. Second Tier 2017 Rookie Runningbacks D’Onta Foreman Curtis Samuel Marlon Mack Jeremy McNichols Samaje Perine Aaron Jones Kareem Hunt Breaking Down the Second Tier Is the the next “Jordan Howard” in this group? Ben thinks Samaje Perine has the best chance to make an immediate impact. The love for Marlon Mack gets real, as Kevin and Ryan conduct the hype train. D’Onta Foreman doesn’t jump off the screen for any of the guys. Could Curtis Samuel transition into a WR role? Dynasty Frank isn’t impressed either way. Third Tier 2017 Rookie Runningbacks Jamaal Williams Elijah McGuire Elijah Hood Brian Hill Aaron Jones Breaking Down the Third Tier Evan likes Brian Hill of this group, but admits Jamaal Williams is getting the buzz. Aaron Jones is a late round flyer to keep an eye on. We’re Helping the AFSP #StopSuicide We are proud to announce that we have partnered up with the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention! At what point are dynasty players targeting the top rookie QB’s? We’ll be ranking the moves based on a special St. Patrick’s Day ranking system! 1 – White Girl Wasted – this move was awful. 2 – Shamrock – Shamrock. Common, boring, meh. 3 – Pot of Gold! – Lucky to find it, we consider this a good signing. 4 – Four Leaf Clover – A rare sighting! This move had us impressed. White Girl Wasted Free Agency Signings Ben and Anthony think the L.A. Chargers made a huge mistake adding Okung. Kevin thinks the Mike Glennon move could end up failing hard. Robert Woods a solid signing for the Rams? Not a chance, says Ryan Williams. Shamrock (Meh) Free Agency Signings Anthony hops on the Robert Woods to the L.A. Rams meh-train. Brandon Marshall to the Giants a meh move? Kev is alone in his thoughts. Pierre Garcon in San Francisco and Terrance Williams resigning with the Cowboys. Ben couldn’t just choose one! Ryan thinks Torrey Smith to Philadelphia is unimpressive. Kevin explodes with opposition! Pot of Gold Free Agency Signings Anthony, Ryan and Ben are all on-board the Marshall to the Giants optimism. Kevin thinks Eddie Lacy to the Seahawks could make him a rock solid option once again. Terrelle Pryor replaces DeSean Jackson AND Pierre Garcon in Washington, making him a hot commodity for Ryan Williams. Not only does Ben love the Alshon Jeffery to Philadelphia signing, he thinks Cameron Meredith sky-rockets up the rankings back in Chicago. We have a Rex Burkhead to New England sighting! The boys react as they hear the news. Four Leaf Clover Free Agency Signings DeSean Jackson to Tampa Bay not only boosts his own value, but jumps both Mike Evans and Jameis Winston as well. Jack Doyle is alone in Indianapolis now and Ben thinks he solidifies himself as a dependable TE1 in 2017. Winners, Losers and Underrated Michael Thomas and Willie Snead benefit big time from Cooks going to New England.
