We gathered with 250-300 people at the Capitol steps in Montgomery, Alabama to stand for the lives of the sixteen unborn children who are murdered in our state each day. Our governor, who ran on a pro-life platform, didn’t even bother to show up despite the thousands of phone calls and e-mails we sent. The men (minus Shaun Lee who couldn’t make it due to very important prior obligations) from the Laymen’s Cup completely surprised Matt and Wes by showing up the night before the rally to help support the cause. They drove all the way from North Carolina. We are more thankful than we could ever express for these brothers in Christ. A special thanks to Sam McLure, Matt Blocher, Hannah Ford, and all the others who helped make this bill possible.
