The American Dream Project
Summary: American Dream Project follows James Marshall and his friend Todd cross country with the objective to reverse the negative sentiment Americans and the media (more often than not) associate with “America.” By utilizing social media, they were able to document and showcase that The American Dream and the optimistic spirit that built this country is very much alive.
James and Todd depart NYC. First stop is Braddock, Pa, where they are invited to stay with the Mayor and his wife to help lend a hand to rebuild a once thriving community.
James and Todd arrive at their second stop, Rendville, OH, where they become a part of the small community and get a “hands on experience” in small town America.
As James and Todd head towards St. Louis, a team of three young female business owners invite the guys to help check off a few things on their to-do list.
James and Todd face defeat as they encounter the wrath of Mother Nature.
James and Todd visit the birthplace of their bikes and learn Indian Motorcycle’s “never give up” attitude.
Tim & Debbie Bishop welcome James and Todd to their ranch, Medicine Bow Lodge. They guys unplug and relax in the peace and quiet of Wyoming.
James and Todd are invited to meet Mike Reynolds a visionary engineer who has been developing sustainable structures for decades.
Relived to make it safely to their last destination, the guys are invited to stay with surfing legend, Mickey Muñoz.
