Krambox Radio show

Krambox Radio

Summary: Krambox Radio is the only source of music on the Internet today. I do hope other people think about doing some sort of music in the future so Krambox is not alone. Call it iMusic or MyTunes. Until then, choose Krambox for an eclectic assortment of music from Nine Inch Nails to Statler Brothers. Weezer, to Dandy Warhols to Atercipelados. It's all good, brother.

September 2007 Super Spectacular! | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: Unknown

* Download September 2007 Show (78 MB) Krambox Radio emerges briefly from hibernation to tell you a little ditty about Jack and Diane. Despite losing our FCC license once again, the song requests keep pouring in, in addition to the record labels wanting Krambox Radio to showcase their artists. Advice to marketing reps at labels: My show gets less listeners per month than kids in my high school class. Granted, Krambox listeners are the most influential listeners in the world (Kanye West asks our resident listeners what's going to be hip), so maybe it's a wash. Additionally, the DJs of Krambox Radio bring you a Krambox first: Remixing a song and putting it out there. Not saying it's any good, but it's fun to try and pretend to be musically talented. Hear for yourself! Also, mad props to the Facebook world for making Krambox Radio an application for you to add and share via Facebook. Add it to your Facebook today! Send your request along today! 1. The Donnas: Take it Off 2. The Skids: The Saints Are Coming 3. Bad Religion: Infected 4. Bikini Kill: Rebel Girl 5. Wolfmother: Woman 6.  June 2006 Show: Yeah, about that April/May business... | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: Unknown

Download June Show (65MB: 68 minutes) What better way to celebrate the first anniversary of Krambox Radio by failing to do an April and May show? Well, our license was temporarily revoked, so we apologize for the delay. It was certainly better than uploading a big file that said, "Technical Difficulties: Please Stand By." Let's get straight into the music this month! We even feature the theme song from Entourage this month! The Entourage theme song in the opening credits is Jane's Addiction Superhero. Check it out as part of the latest Krambox Radio. 1. Jane's Addiction: Superhero 2. Pearl Jam: Life Wasted 3. Yeah Yeah Yeahs: Gold Lion 4. Ugly Duckling: A Little Samba 5.  December - January Show! Pass the Yule Log! | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: Unknown

Download December-January Show (58MB: 72 minutes) Don't ask me about November. I don't know where the show went. I'm not talking about it. It wasn't my fault. Really. It was that person over there. (S)he did it. But let's move on, shall we? This show is nicely pickled with oodles of surprises and delightfully delicious songs for us to share. Oh goody! Yes, Phil Collins is right. There's something in the air tonight. A-whoa-ah. A-whoa. December and January are jam-packed with a nice selections of songs, hand-crafted in Bavaria. Thanks to my buddy TK who picked up a few listeners on his Harley-Davidson tours. Mad props to Christian for the links. And thanks to KYOU Radio, which is playing my Show #1 over and over and over. Dudes, the show sucked. Pick up my feed and check out the latest shows. OK, they kinda suck too, but at least the microphone is better positioned. BTW, the site I mention at the end of the site is Heifer.org. Definitely a nice alternative to material gifts this holiday season! ANOTHER BTW UPDATE: I added advertisements to my blog to put my money where my mouth is. For the next 30 days, any profits I make off of my ads will be donated to Heifer. Additionally, I'll donate the same dollar amount to Heifer even if I lose money (although my losses are capped per day, so help me out on the positive side. :) ). This is part of my experiment with ads, and also a way for you to help out a worthy cause with just a simple click. On with the tunes: 1. OK Go: Invincible 2. Depeche Mode: A Pain That I'm Used To 3. Basement Jaxx: Good Luck 4. Dresden Dolls: Girl Anachronism 5. Lustra: Scotty Doesn't Know 6. Primal Scream: Come Together 7. Clap Your Hands Say Yeah: Is This Love? 8. T.a.T.U.: How Soon Is Now? 9.  September 2005 Show: What happened to August? | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: Unknown

Download September 2005 Show (53MB: 66 minutes) Krambox Radio went on temporary hiatus in August, after contacting The Oracle, who basically advised against radio broadcasts, too much time in the sun, and shellfish. Happily, The Oracle blessed this September show and said it was good. Many new tunes and bands this week. Some movie tunes, and an EXCELLENT cover of a powerful song...but you have to listen to the entire show to get to that cover? (Ok, there are such things as fast forward, but you wouldn't want to hurt my feelings now, would you? Don't answer that.) Keep sending your krambox requests. Have you downloaded Odeo yet to sync up with our podcast? This week's show includes: 1. Garbage: Vow 2. Oasis: * In The Bushes 3. The Cult: Edie (Ciao Baby) 4. Dynamite Boy: I Want It That Way 5.  July Show: Yes, it's Almost August | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: Unknown

Download July 2005 Show (42MB: 53 minutes) The beat goes on with the latest edition of Krambox Radio. Lots of animal songs with Gorillaz and Eels. The Massive Attack leaves Keane M.I.A., so you better send in the Eagles of Death Metal. Man, that was a really lame promo on my part. I'll never do that again. Seriously though: Go buy Eagles of Death Metal. You won't be disappointed.... unless you're expecting an album of death metal. Keep sending your krambox requests. Have you downloaded Odeo yet to sync up with our podcast? This week's show includes: 1. Gorillaz: Feel Good Inc. 2. M.I.A.: Amazon 3. Beastie Boys: Shake Your Rump 4.  The First Show: Huzzah! | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: Unknown

Download May 2005 Show (32MB) Welcome to the first show of Krambox Radio. This is my first ever podcast, and boy, is it rough around the edges. If I had something better than a $5.99 microphone from Fry's, it'd probably sound better. Well, it'd probably help if I had a team of sketch writers and amateur musicians to make it more interesting, but hey, I'll take what I can get. No idea how frequently I'll do this -- maybe once a month? I will say it was a lot of fun to make, and even though the dialogue is pretty sterile, my fan base found it amusing. Send me any correspondence, love letters, advice or requests to krambox-radio@yahoo.com. I'll be glad to play whatever you like for your next couples skate around the Roll-a-Rena. Btw, the sound quality is awful. My microphone rattles, the songs are higher/lower volume depending on the tune. Gimme a break. I'll fix next time. This week's show features (32MB): 1. Nine Inch Nails: Hand That Feeds 2. Weezer: We Are All on Drugs 3. Garbage: Til the Day I Die 4. Cracker: Teen Angst 5. Dandy Warhols: Bohemian Like You 6. Tones on Tail: Go 7. PJ Harvey: This is Love 8. Hives: Hate to Say I Told You So 9. Texas: Summer Son PS. Many thanks to ZoeRadio, a radio station run by a 14-year-old girl, for providing me the inspiration to give this a whirl.
