Summary: The Not Another Tavern Podcast is an actual play podcast focused on long-form storytelling while exploring Fantasy Tropes and a variety of Roleplaying Games. This show is presented by Dice For Brains and focus on character and story development with an emphasis on bringing new players to the table. The podcast is hosted by David Wright and features actors, artists, storytellers and straight-up nerds coming together to produce an organically forming narrative adventure every episode. This first season we touch on the idea of Prophecy, Bandit Lairs, and Unknown Magic. The adventure begins in the Drunken Stoat Tavern and is set in the Tortured Marsh, in the E’rwylde; and uses the FATE Accelerated Roleplaying Game. The second season focuses on imperial evils on the general population and the rebellions the rise up to fight them. The adventure begins in a cantina located on the Deathstar and uses FFG's Star Wars RPG.

Our trio gets down in goblin town, and we learn - maybe a little too much - about goblin life; before Narg, Lucy, and Ignara set out again for the missing child.
The trio sets out for Happyvale and points beyond, with Crazy Larry’s Traveling Merchant Caravan; but the crew of the Rockland Express gets side-tracked by a sudden and powerful hankerin’ for turkey bacon.
Narg, Lucy, and Ignara prepare to set out in search of the missing child, but first they must contend with an old rival, and an old ally.
The heroes return to their village, and reflect on what they’ve learned; and in the Drunken Stoat Tavern, they meet a brooding old man...
Surprise, and confusion, and a long boat ride home await our trio as they fight their way out of the Bandit caves.
Our trio return to the bandit - I mean bear - cave. What will they find in a darkness below Badman Roost?
