With the rise in terrorism (Islamic and otherwise), I got to thinking about people’s beliefs and what makes them radicalize and turn to violence. Terrorists killed 17 people in France, first at the satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo, then at a Jewish super market in Paris. This show is a bit out of schedule, but I felt that it needed to go live today. This week has been quite shitty. My wife’s grandmother died. She was a wonderful woman and she lived to be 95 and ring in 2015. The day after the funeral my furry nephew, Bauer the dog, died. He was my sister- and brother-in-laws dog. He was such a wonderful Golden Retriever. In this episode, I ramble about how life is fleeting and how you need to live every day like it’s your last. Kind of depressing, but very true. Yesterday a crazed maniac terrorized two counties (Montgomery County and Bucks County, PA). He killed 6 people and injured one. Facebook has been very helpful finding out what’s going on in the communities. Journalists have been proclaiming the reemergence of podcasting over the last few weeks. I hate to break it to them, podcasting was never gone. It’s been going strong since 2006 and even before that.

Quality of the audio is important for podcasts, especially now that they have re-emerged as a democratization of media.

Darnell Docket’s comments about Malia Obama’s body are not only disgusting and inappropriate, but illegal. I get the idea of freedom of speech, but she’s 16 YEARS OLD! We need to stop treating women as pieces of meat and treat them with respect, at all ages.

Being a father is an amazing experience. My son is 2 and growing and learning everyday. I’m excited to see where he goes and what he becomes in life.

In this show, I ramble on about the hot weather we’re having after the bitter cold we had last week and will have at the end of this week. Climate change? Yes. Global warming is the wrong term. In my opinion.
