Greeting poddies! Here it is, finally, part 2!!! In the second part of the show we talk about: - Boz's travels to Camden Lock and his discovery of what seems to be the greatest store ever - Up The Video Junction. - Boz then informs us that one of his purchases from said store, Mordem, is one to be avoided pretty much at all costs. - We briefly talk about the crapfest that is Teeth and then Boz advises Goggs that Captivity really is worth a watch. - Goggs then delves into the land of television with some discussion of Under The Dome and Bates Motel with some discussion about Walking Dead from Boz. - Eli Roth, why oh why did you inflict Aftershock on Boz? Is it not bad enough that he sat through Devil Seed? - Are you a boy? Do you love Mandy Lane? Do you know the backstory to All The Boys Love Mandy Lane and why it took about 8 years to make it to US shores? And was it really worth the wait for the poor Yanks? Boz lets us know whilst Goggs kind of, sort of talks about it. Well not really, other than saying "Yeah, I saw it years ago" - The pod then becomes all mushy and gushy as Boz regales us with his work on the set of White Lily. - Then finally, to finish off we have the return of the Admiral for Mission Shrinkydickable. Did The Woman In Black make him jump as many times as Goggs did? Did he make it through in one sitting? You'll just have to listen and find out. Greeting poddies! Oh how we have missed you, and we're sure you missed us just as much. In the first of a multi part show (don't you just love multi part shows?) we talk about: - Goggs has finally finished Contagious, a novel by Scott Sigler and thought it was ....... - Goggs also continued his new love affair with Mr. Sigler and bought and finished the audio book of Nocturnal. If you don't know who Pookie Chang is then you are missing out. - Would you believe it if Goggs mentions a 3rd book? No? Well then you won't believe your ears as Goggs talks about Boot Camp which is also a reasonable movie starring the one and only Mile Kunis if you'd rather check that out. - Then Mr. Boz gets a turn. And what delight does he regale us with? How about his trip to the cinema to watch Devil's Due. - And then we land back into B movie territory. No, it's not a B is for Boz. It's just something that sounds like it belongs there. Grabbers. - Do you love shark movies? Who doesn't?!?! Goggs revisits Deep Blue Sea whilst Boz tells us we should check out Bait. - The part then comes to a close with a brief mention of Awake (yes, not really a horror but there's some horrific acting in it!) and Resident Evil: Apocalypse. Hello! We are back. Happy New Year to you all. In our first show of 2014 we chat about: -our first ever competition winner! Is it you? You'll just have to listen to find out. -Goggs caught up with The Collector (spoilers from 16:15 through 45:55) -then The Collection (see above for continued spoilers) -and somehow Goggs managed to keep a TC theme going with The Crazies. -Boz then starts off on a high with Sightseers. -And we have a welcome return of B is for Boz with not one, but two movies! Paranormal Whacktivity and Zombie Ass: Toilet of the Undead. -Before we leave it looks as though we are all going to be paying careful attention to trees and watch out for Squirrels. This is getting ridiculous. 4 weeks in a row we've released a show. On top of the Christmas specials! Don't be expecting this is 2014 loyal listeners :-) In our final proper show of 2013 we chat through: - some feedback from listener Tim - just how excited is Goggs about Paranormal Activity: The Marked Ones? - Boz let's us know again that PA4 sucked - Boz went to the movies again. This time to see the remake of Carrie. - somehow Goggs managed to summon up the strength to finish watching The Children. The things that have to be done in the name of the show! - ring ring, ring ring. Looks like you have One Missed Call. Get it? - some more talk about the wonders of Mr. Scott Sigler and his upcoming release of Pandemic - before there was Big Bad Wolves, there was Rabies. Boz says that this is one disease you have to catch! - just how careful should you be when buying a house? Boz watches Open House to find out. - and finally, Boz shares his thoughts on Inside. A movie that The Admiral must NEVER, EVER, EVER watch!! - oh, and there's some ranting about how movie studios suck about having their movies available for download And that is it. 2013 is almost over and we shall be back in the new year, better than ever before.
