 The Stash - Episode 2 | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 39:00

As Rocktober continues to, well, rock…so does Jen as she debuts her second episode of The Stash, which turned out to be a good mix of new and classic rock. Kicking off the weekend was keyboardist Marco Benevento who was celebrating the release of his new album TigerFace. Bringing the party to the Bowery Ballroom with Benevento was bassist Dave Dreiwitz, drummer Andy Borger and a rather animated, furry stuffed tiger head. The shenanigans continued backstage with a factory line of joint rolling and an important lesson learned. Jen and her Music Stash headed to the Beacon Theatre on Tuesday night for a sold-out show of Crosby, Stills & Nash who proved that their music is just as relevant today as it was at Woodstock – some forty years ago. The band mixed fan favorites “Love The One You’re With,” “Wooden Ships,” and “Suite: Judy Blue Eyes” with newer tracks like “Almost Gone” and “Radio.” Joining The Stash in the HIGH TIMES office this week was our first ever guest: Jon Topper, manager of the band moe. Topper spoke to us about his experience representing the US on his recent trip to China and Korea – and may have leaked that there’s an upcoming winter festival in the works at Killington mountain. Jen credits moe. with her addiction… rather, passion of seeing live music and it was a treat to have Topper stop by.
