  While attending the International Motorcycle Shows Atlanta stop recently I was able to spend some time with Mr. Daytona, 1993 WSBK Champion Scott Russell, talking about current events in motorcycle roadracing, both here in America and abroad. Also on this episode, an interview with former pro racer, current Disalvo Speed Academy lead instructor and AMA Pro Road Racing crew chief Brian Stokes. Round three of the 2013 AMA Pro Road Racing season took place this past weekend at the pristine Barber Motorsports Park located just outside of Birmingham, Alabama. I was able to get several rider interviews over the course of the weekend, actually enough to necessitate two episodes in order to keep from having one excessively long episode. In part one the riders you'll hear are as follows: Jason DiSalvo, Garrett Gerloff, Dustin Dominguez & Bobby Fong. These interviews took place during the first day of racing on Saturday. Brian Drebber has covered a myriad of sporting events for television over the last several decades. Many of those broadcasts were motorcycle races which has made 'Dreb' (as his friends call him) one of the most recognized voices of motorcycle roadracing on American TV. A life long motorcyclist, Brian has also worked on race crews along with owning more than a few bikes himself. More recently he has been doing track announcing at selected AMA Pro Road Racing events and some of the American rounds of MotoGP and WSBK along with narrating the show 'Superbike Family' on SPEED. Larry Lawrence has been covering all types of motorcycle racing for more than 25 years. His knowledge on the history of the sport in the United States is impressive to say the least. Larry has written for several top publications and has worked for AMA Pro Racing. He continues to pen the 'Archives' column for Cycle News and his website (Rider Files) is full of great photos and memories from the last several decades. Larry also wrote the Ben Spies biography 'Taking It to the Next Level' which is a must for any fan of motorcycle roadracing. Larry has also recently released a collection of past 'Archives' columns as an eBook on Amazon. The Progressive International Motorcycle Show made it's first stop for the 2012 / 2013 tour in Atlanta the weekend before last and I was fortunate enough to get these interviews with three of America's greatest names in motorcycle roadracing. I spoke with Colin about some of his former superbike successes and his current situation in MotoGP as a CRT rider. Scott & I discussed some highlights & happenings throughout his professional racing career.   News & highlights from the penultimate round #17 for the 2012 MotoGP season from Stoner, errr I mean Phillip Island in Australia along with a look at Moto2 & Moto3 action as well.

  Looking back at the 16th round of this 2012 MotoGP campaign from a soaked Sepang circiut in Malaysia along with round 15 for Moto2 and Moto3 where we saw one World Champion crowned.

  In this episode we catch-up with the action from MotoGP rounds 14 & 15 from Motorland Aragon on the plains in Spain and The Grand Prix of Japan at the Twin Ring Motegi circuit.

    Highlights and results from the penultimate rounds for WSBK  (round 13 @ Portimao) and AMA Pro Road Racing (round 10 @ Miami) plus an update from Assen where BSB recently competed.

    After several weeks of silence it's time to catch up with MotoGP, WSBK, AMA & BSB. I'll try my best to stay caught up and current for the rest of the season so thanks for continuing to tune in.
