The Rally Show

This episode is a preview of the 2013 British Rally Championship with John MacCrone and Peter Taylor, driving for the new Culina-Palletforce Rally Team and also British Rally Championship manager - Mark Taylor.

The show with a nonsense approach to the sport. Club level drivers that were desperately seeking the backing to continue to compete, through to world rally champions, WRC and IRC team bosses and legends of the past, have all been on the show this year.

This is a new format of event review that we are trialing and the first show is from Michigan USA and the first round of the Rally America championship. It is also the introduction of Carl Williamson as a Rally Report and The Rally Show reporter, joining Neil and the team at TRS. Carl is the co-driver for 'Crazy Leo' and has sat next to the likes of WRC star, Jari-Matti Latvala in the past as well as being rather good with the microphone. Enjoy listening to his relaxed style and natural interaction with the drivers, that only comes from being a competitor and 'one of them'! On this half hour show, Carl catches up with David Higgins, Antoine L'Estage and Nathalie Richard, Leo Urlichich, John Hall and global gymkhana superstar Mr Ken Block. Neil Cloughley introduces the show and Carl reviews day 1 with the drivers, followed by their thoughts at the end of the event on Day 2 with the top 3.

After many months of work, The Rally Show will now have its new home here at TheRallyReport.com This brings with it some changes and the evolution will continue into 2013 with further changes currently being discussed. As many of you know, we had a new production manager that had become involved with our future plans, Lance England. Unfortunately Lance had been fighting a long term illness which finally claimed him in October. Such was his enthusiasm and excitement for the project and the work will will be doing next year with BRC LIVE, that no one would have known he faced such a tough battle against the illness. Despite the challenges he faced, he was keen to see The Rally Show return, along with many of our kind supporters and fans of the show, so we decided to do a Christmas Special in Lance's honor. RIP Lance you will be missed. Due to the great response from our chosen guests, we have a superb line-up for you from the world of rally. Some we have heard from earlier in the year on the summer editions of The Rally Show and others who we have not heard from. All have their own story to tell from in and around the sport from the very top of the WRC as drivers, to Manufacturer representatives, event organisers, Co-drivers and National competitors. As such, we have split the broadcast into two parts and the first will be available at 7pm on the 3rd and the 2nd at 7pm on the 10th of December. Guests include: Gerard Quinn - Head of Ford Racing Europe Marty McCormack - Winner of the R.A.C Rally 2012 Osian Pryce - Star of the BRC and one to watch! Talking about this years new 2WD BRC!
