Episode 11: Thank You for Being Mo Rocca! | File Type: audio/x-m4a | Duration: 40:58

I grew up on a steady diet of I Love the 80s and CBS Sunday Morning. So, when I got the chance to travel over to CBS Studios for a tea time break with Mo Rocca, I was simply over the moon. The man is simply AMAZING. Between endlessly fascinating pieces on Sunday Morning, cooking with delightful grandparents on My Grandmother's Ravioli, panelist duties on NPR's Wait Wait...Don't Tell Me, and his new documentary Electoral Dysfunction, the fact that he found time for a tea time chat over some Golden Girls-inspired coloring from Avery Monsen is a true sign that EVERYONE can take a break. Also, we talked about menopause which was GREAT. What a blast!

Episode 10: Avery Monsen Llikes Llamas | File Type: audio/x-m4a | Duration: 30:46

You know that show Catfish on MTV? The one where people meet on the internet and form these insane relationships only to discover that one person lied about everything and really lives in a bucket under the local Red Lobster instead of on his family's 500 acre ranch like he said? Well, I feel very sorry for those people, because after being Twitter friends with Avery Monsen for about 6 months, I sat down in person with the UCB actor, illustrator and co-author of some of my favorite books, including (but not limited to) All My Friends Are Dead, All My Friends Are Still Dead, and K is for Knifeball: An Alphabet of Terrible Advice, and had so much fun that I needed to take a nap afterwards. To top it all off, we were coloring in one of my favorite drawings from UK-based illustrator Gemma Correll. She is a GENIUS. Also, I jokingly dared Avery to do a cartwheel and he didn't. He did a backflip instead. Watch it at www.intoosteep.tumblr.com and download Gemma's llama and color along!
