As I worked with two sheep breed fibers from Wales, I recorded my thoughts as well as the sounds of the processing and spinning of the yarns.
I livestream on Twitch.TV about spinning but the streams do not stay forever on Twitch. For that reason I have been archiving the streams on You Tube on the lusi222 channel.

Ryeland sheep are a very old breed originating in the British Isles. They are not raised now as they were in long ago years, but the fiber of the sheep being raised now is very good for spinning. I talk about sampling this fiber and the yarn I made.

In this podcast I briefly give some breed information about the White Face Woodland sheep. I also talk about doing a virtual fiber fair, visiting the booth owners websites, instead of actually going since the fair had to be cancelled due to the Covid virus.
The Shropshire sheep is another of the British Isles down breeds. It often has long curly locks in the fleece, and I used the ones I had from the sample of fiber to create a unique yarn.
A breed of sheep mostly raised in the British Isles, Oxford Down is finding it's way into the hearts of spinners.
