The T-Rex Hunter set is part of LEGO's relaunched Dino theme. This 480-piece set lets kids build the aerial capture unit (a helicopter), a scout vehicle with trailer, and the T-Rex. The helicopter features a hook, harness, guns, four missiles, and rotating blades. Kids can hook the T-Rex to the helicopter and tow it away. The scout vehicle with trailer comes with binoculars. The set includes two minifigures and a T-Rex that stands about 11 inches tall.

The Cars Action Agents Spy Jet Getaway playset lets kids play out the action-packed moment from Cars 2 when Mater and Finn McMissile escape the bad guys at the Tokyo airport. The playset comes with a Finn McMissile car and Siddeley the Spy Jet, along with six connecting baggage carts and two car launchers. Pop open the top of Siddeley so Finn can ride inside. Then open up the back ramp to let Finn drive out. Or use one of the car launchers to launch Finn up the ramp and into Siddeley. Kids can even launch Finn into the luggage cart (sold separately) just like in the movie. Siddeley also has two working, spring-powered missiles, one on each side, that can be launched with the press of a button. Siddeley also has weapons mounts for attaching other weapons, such as rocket launchers, which are sold separately.

With the Batmobile and the Two-Face Chase building set, kids can build the scene of the crime and help Batman stop the bad guys. This 531-piece set lets kids build the batmobile with opening cockpit and dual flick missiles and Two-Face's orange and purple car with dual flick missiles, shooting function, and lifting crane. Kids will also build a bank for the bad guys to rob. The bank features a door that opens and closes, a safe that opens and closes, and a break-away window. Accessories include safe dynamite and dollar bills. The set comes with five minifigures: Batman, Two-Face, two henchman, and a guard. Kids can play out the action they see in the included comic book.

The Monster High Create-A-Monster Vampire & Sea Monster Starter Pack lets kids build and create their own Monster High doll. The kit includes all the necessary body parts and fashions to create a monstrously fabulous and fashionable character, including a torso, two sets of limbs, two heads, one hairstyle (wig), two fashions, and additional accessories. The body parts easily snap together, and kids can put the parts together however they want. For instance, kids can use the sea monster arms with the vampire head. There are other Create-A-Monster kits, including Werewolf & Dragon, Skeleton, Three-Eyed Ghoul, and Insect. (Each is sold separately.) The parts from these kits mix and match with the parts from the Vampire & Sea Monster kit, giving kids more than 250 body combinations and designs. A doll stand is included with the Vampire & Sea Monster Starter Pack.

Tollytots has created an interactive doll that brings Belle, the princess from Beauty and the Beast, to life as a character and a friend and playmate for little girls. The Singing and Storytelling Belle is a gorgeous version of Belle as a little girl, which is the theme of the My First Disney Princess line. Belle is a large doll with a soft body that comes wearing a beautiful dress based on the character's signature yellow gown from the movie. Turn on the doll and Belle interacts with all of her friends: Lumiere, Chip, and Mrs. Potts. When kids place one of the three characters in Belle's hand, the doll recognizes which character it is and will talk to that character. Place the storybook in Belle's hand and the doll will read aloud a version of Beauty and the Beast. Give Belle the magic rose microphone to hear Belle sing "Beauty and the Beast" or "Be Our Guest." Press the button on Belle's bracelet to hear more phrases. Belle has more than 100 character phrases programmed into the doll. There's lots of classic doll play as Belle asks girls to brush her hair and pretend to have a tea party.

Phone Frenzy is a game that starts with the assumption that virtually everyone today has a cell phone—and now it can be integrated into a party game. The object of the game is to collect four different cards: Team Challenge, Who Knows?, Buzz!, and Showdown. In order to get the cards, you have to get answers to questions. To get the answers, players use their personal cell phones to either call or text other people. You can only call or text people who are already in your phone's contact list, and you can only call or text a contact once during the game.

The LeapPad Explorer features a built-in camera/video recorder, a built-in microphone, and a library of more than 100 learning game cartridges, books, apps, and videos. Just like mom and dad's tablet, kids can touch the LeapPad's five-inch screen with their finger or tap it with the stylus. Kids can also turn, twist, and shake the tablet for motion-based play. LeapPad also works with all Leapster Explorer and LeapFrog Explorer cartridge games and downloadable apps. Games auto adjust so kids can learn at the right pace. Each LeapPad book app is actually three books in one, offering each story at three different reading levels. LeapPad remembers a child's progress from game to game and book to book to keep the content challenging and engaging. Content includes everything from phonics skills, mathematics, and spelling to geography, world languages, music, creativity, science, and life skills. Kids can also practice their writing skills with step-by-step guidance and a child-sized stylus.

Hot Wheels has been around for nearly 43 years, and this year it's adding some great innovation. Instead of tracks being built on the floor, Wall Tracks are built up on the wall. Packaged with a simple installation template, along with Command Strips from 3M, parents can easily hang the Wall Tracks without concerns over wall damage. Completely modular, the track pieces can be moved around and mixed and matched to allow for maximum creativity and fun. One of the new playsets in the Ninjago line is Garmadon's Dark Fortress. This 518-piece set comes with six minifigures, including ninjas Kai and Nya, and several surprises: there are figures that pop up, a spider that pops off the front of the fortress, and missile shooters on top of the fortress. Dressed in a concert-style T-shirt, Let's Rock Elmo sings six songs and interacts with different musical instruments. Let's Rock Elmo comes with a microphone, tambourine, and drum set. To hear Elmo sing, place his microphone or tambourine in his hands and press his left foot. When you place the drum set in front of Elmo and under his feet, then press his left foot, Elmo will sing and play the drums. Thanks to sensors in the doll's feet and hands, Elmo always knows what instrument he's playing.
