Another fun concert with lots of cool surprises! Zack got to meet everyone from OCEANO, I caught a drumstick, and we just had a hell of a show. One of my best friends, Darren stops by to hang out on the show and we talk a lot about old-school metal and how he got into metal, our old band “Unprovoked” and more!

Well over a month after recording it, I’ve finally gotten time to post episode 9. It was a killer show. Easily one of the best concerts the kids and I have ever been to. We were right at the front of the stage, and Jamey Jasta handed Zack the wristband off his wrist!! Sorry for the delay…

Like the title says, this show really changed us as concert goers. Our first foray into the scary world of being part of the pit and crowd near the front of the stage. In this episode we talk about the show and meeting an idol.

September already?!? Well, we hung out on the U.S.S. Hornet for Slaughter by the water on August 25th. Lots of good bands, lots of interesting history, and most important of all, EXODUS!!   One of the bigger surprises was when Dave Lombardo walked onstage to play with his side project “Philm”. I just about pissed myself! We had a great time at this show and there are some surprises awaiting the listener, so check out our latest installment of Ask A Metalhead; Episode 7!  

Man oh man, it’s been a long time since we recorded. With the kids out of school and off doing summertime stuff and work kicking my ass it’s been hard to get a recording done. A couple of nights ago, we got an email from someone and it really kick me in to gear. I’d like to share the email, it really was cool to read this. Thanks “Gentlemandrunk”. I loved you’re show. Found it on reddit. I see you haven’t done one this month. Fix that. I love the dynamic. You’ve done well to instruct your spawn in the dark art that is the metal. They really seem to know their stuff. I love the mix between your love of the classic metal of days gone by and the fire the kids have for the new stuff. Please keep it up. I just mentioned you on reddit tonight concerning an idea to highlight shows such as yours. Big fan, Please do another show. perhaps about a band such as maiden??? We’ll do a “Maiden” show soon, I promise. Anyhow, without further ado, Episode 6!
