Project Fidelity

Summary: How can we use semantic web technologies to improve the digital media landscape? Journalism and mass media may have been unprepared for the shift in our society brought about by the revolution of the internet. How we gather, share, and understand information has been irrevocably changed and we believe a large part of journalism's role in the future will be to help our audience get credible and accurate information faster and in the mode they choose. Two Arizona State University graduate students - Jeremy Pennycook & Evan Wyloge - will explore this topic regularly, with conversations and interviews. This podcast is being produce at the Walter Cronkite School of Mass Communications, in conjunction with the Knight Center for Digital Media Entrepreneurship. It is designed to be part of the capstone experience in our master's program.
