You don’t have to be all, do all for all. Actually it’s pretty impossible. You won’t do it all well. Instead of wanting more, I invite you to want less and be more focused on the very most important things. Focus helps guide you to what is most important and helps you stay on your purpose. If you don’t define what is most important to you, someone else will. People will grab for your attention. Tasks will BEG for you to complete them. What is MOST IMPORTANT TO YOU - and focus on that.
Habit building is hard because you’re literally rewiring your brain. Here are 3 easy steps to create lasting habits: 1. Create easy wins. 2. Design your environment to build lasting repetition. 3. Tack the new habit on to an old habit you’re already doing. Action creates momentum. Discipline is where it all starts. Discipline isn’t punishment. It’s freedom and it does feel good.
Taking responsibility for your own internal state is empowering and leads to freedom and ease in life and your relationships. When you’re in resentment, offended or hurt by someone, see it as an opportunity to turn inward, not lash outward, to view how your expectations of how that person should be is really just a story you’re telling yourself and is not coming from a place of love. You have the power to create your reality by shifting your expectations of it.
