This week’s Mantra Monday is an easy acronym to help bring more mindfulness into every you say and do. The acronym is to THINK before you say or act. Ask yourself these questions: T is it thoughtful? H is it helpful? I is it inspiring? N is it necessary? K is it kind?
Being the light is subtle. When you work on your own awakening, without needing to control external things like the result or a person, your perspective expands and your heart softens. You can see that really being the light is being in a pure state of love without putting your crap onto someone else or taking on their crap. You’re in the flow. You are the change you wish to see in the world. You are the light.

If it’s not gonna matter in 5 years, don’t spend more than 5 minutes upset by it We have 50,000-70,000 thoughts a day. Typically, they’re somewhere else other than in the present moment. How often do you ruminate and turn over a story?
The Invitation this week is to notice when your mind drifts to putting in energy somewhere that you don’t have any control. Check in with yourself and see if this is a good place for your energy. Is it the most productive and healthy place to spend your thought? Redirect it to only things you have control over. This will help refocus your mind from mindless chatter, what ifs, worry, fear and comparison. It will help you step into your authentic power of what you DO have control over.
Judgement keeps us separate from each other and from ourselves. Every aspect of our life that our ego wants to compare and judge. Whether it’s in your career and business life, your role as a partner or parent, or just plain being HUMAN, our ego compares + competes + judges. The #ittybittyshittycommittee can shout so loud and #compare you to others dragging you down into a scarcity mindset. Comparison shows up when you’re not being present to the good that’s in front of you.

Not who or what you were holding onto, but what and who are really supposed to be in your life instead of resisting the flow of Life, you will be with the flow of the Universe.
It’s amazing how much space you’ll have just by saying no. it’s just 2 days. In that space take time for yourself. Check off those things that have been on your list for months (or years!), really have self-care (not some rushed version of it), and spend time doing the things you love with the people you love. That’s what life is really all about isn’t it? We have a finite time here on earth. Spend it where it feeds your soul as much as possible.
This week’s mantra is: If it’s not a hell yeah, then it’s a hell no. Bring your choices to your consciousness and understand where you are spending your time. Ask yourself what are you sacrificing when you say YES to this person or this meeting, or call, or event, or task? What are you giving up? Is this more important? Time is your most precious energy. Protect it. Guard it. Remember everything is a choice. When you say yes to one thing, you are saying no to another.
