"Open Discussion: Riots, Race, and Reality" on "Lunch with Louden" | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 00:59:00

"Open Discussion: Riots, Race, and Reality". Recent events in Baltimore and elsewhere have brought racism to the front of our dialogue again...but what are we failing to address when we frame the issue as one of race? How do we talk about those other issues without appearing to ignore racism? How does focusing on racism allow many people to ignore the other issues by treating the whole thing as "someone else's problem?" What's your perspective on all this? Guest Host John Henry will be taking YOUR calls TODAY at (646) 929-2495, 3pm Eastern, 12 Pacific, on Lunch with Louden on Coffee Party Radio!"

Property Tax Lien Foreclosures: Seizing Homes of the Elderly for Profit | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 00:34:00

Property Tax Lien Foreclosures: Could You Seize the Homes of the Elderly for Profit? Cities Are Allowing ‘Investors’ to Do It . Every year there are $15 billion of property tax liens placed on homes across the country. Most of them are placed on homes owned by poor people, aging veterans, the elderly, and people with infirmities. When a city can’t collect the money, they sell them to private predatory investors who add accumulated interest and fees to assure these disadvantage homeowners can’t possibly pay the liens. The predatory investors then foreclose on the properties, put the people on the homeowners on the street, and re-sell the houses for prices far above the relatively insignificant price they paid for the property tax liens. Even though the cities made a little bit of money for collecting the tax liens from predators, the cities aren’t realizing they will now pay the hidden costs of housing and feeding the homeless people they allowed to be displaced. It is a foolish race to the illogical financial bottom for municipalities. There may be solutions. A leading national advocate to stop these practices, Larry Checco, explains what we can do.  The Tim Danahey Show discusses economics, government, social issues, history, and non-fiction books in a magazine format featuring in-depth conversations with guests. Politics and inflammatory conversations are discouraged as they are divisive and counter-productive. Instead, the show seeks under-reported topics and delves into facts, different perspectives, and ramifications of each perspective. The show does not espouse a political agenda. The show is one of the highest quality and professional programs available. Danahey’s strength is to take complex subjects, talk with experts and make them comprehensible and entertaining for average listeners.

Politics Done Right - We are in trouble when comedians explain Baltimore better | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 01:00:00

This week all the traditional mainstream media descended on Baltimore. There was acomment by protester Danielle Williams to MSNBC’s Thomas Roberts that exposed the dereliction of duty by the traditional mainstream media. She said the following. “My question to you is, when we were out here protesting all last week for six days straight peacefully, there were no news cameras, there were no helicopters, there was no riot gear, and nobody heard us,” Danielle Williams said. “So now that we’ve burned down buildings and set businesses on fire and looted buildings, now all of the sudden everybody wants to hear us. Why does it take a catastrophe like this in order for America to hear our cry?” she continued. “I mean, enough is enough. We’ve had too many lives lost at the hands of police officers. Enough is enough.” There is much within that statement. What do you think. Let’s talk about it. What are your thoughts? Let’s  talk. I will also be following our hash-tag #PoliticsDoneRighton Twitter. Give me a call. You can also find previous episodes on YouTube here.  "Mind Riot: How Media Coverage of Public Protests Amplify Negative Behavior" | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 01:01:00

"Mind Riot: How Media Coverage of Public Protests Amplify Negative Behavior" We'll be discussing coverage of the protests and riots in Baltimore in both mainstream and alternative media, with a particular focus on what I consider a dishonest claim by independent sources that the mainstream media has "deliberately covering up" peaceful protests. Why is the focus always negative? What can we do to change it? Is the mainstream media as much at fault as we like to think, and to what degree is the alternative media guilty of hypocrisy or dishonesty in their criticism of their mainstream counterparts? Joining guest host John Henry is Alex Freeman, Journalist and Editor for The Fifth Column News, as he take your calls and discusses this important issue. Who is right, who is wrong, and why? John will be looking forward to hearing from YOU live tomorrow at 3pmEST/Noon Pacific on 'Lunch with Louden!' on Coffee Party Radio.

War Against All Puerto Ricans: with Nelson A. Denis | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 00:54:00

Revolution and Terror in America’s Colony. The U.S. citizens of Puerto Rico are the only citizens of the United States who have been bombed by U.S. aircraft on U.S. soil. The media said the damage  was due to fires set by Puerto Rican rioters who were, in fact, fighting for independence from America’s corporate rule and J. Edgar Hoover’s FBI surveillance state. The people were revolting against wiretaps, illegal arrest and detention, torture, medical experimentation, and corporate exploitation. You will be amazed how thoroughly researched and documented this story of a subjugated people is done. You will want to read the book and then realize our civil rights must not be taken for granted. Detaining & Jailing: The Corporate Way on "I Take LIBERTY With My Coffee" | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 01:56:00

As I reported on earlier this week for The Fifth Column News twice in the past fifteen days, two separate class action lawsuits, one in U.S. District Court, one in Grady County Superior Court, were filed naming Red Hills Community Probation (RHCP) LLC, its CEO Margaret B. Crutchfield, and the cities of Cairo, Pelham and Bainbridge, GA, as defendants.  The Federal case, Edwards, et al, v Red Hills Community Probation LLC, et al, filed by the Southern Center for Human Rights, also names probation officers and members of various police departments. The state case, Green v Red Hills, et al, alleges the defendants violated a number of state statutes including various RICO laws as well. The two cases, though not connected in any way, arise out of nearly identical facts and the same pattern of conduct. Joining me this morning to discuss the merits of the case is Attorney for the Plaintiff in Green, K, Todd Butler. Attorney Butler will discuss the allegations and the law supporting his decision to advance a RICO legal argument to the court. Along with the improper and illegal actions of a corporation acting "under color of state law", for the sole purpose of profit.  I will be covering the latest important news subjects as well as our weekly education battle updates. Longtime Activist, Radio Host, Journalist and Coffee Party Director Bobby Rodrigo's show "I Take LIBERTY With My Coffee" on Coffee Party USA Radio every Sunday Morning at 8:30AM EDT. Advocating engagement, pointing out the Constitution is the Rule of Law and why it should remain so. Bobby attacks Money in Politics & political party blind allegiance hoping to stop corruption & tyranny. Plus join us Sunday Morning 8:30 AM EDT

Politics Done Right - "Silence is Surrender" | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 01:00:00

Silence is Surrender I want all those folks who are undecided, non-committal and in the middle to tell me why. You know who you are. You’re the ones who let the rest of us on the two ends of the spectrum do all the debating, discussing, arguing, and posting of all manner of articles, memes, tweets, and blog post on subjects ranging from climate change, marriage equality, women’s right, money in politics, trade deals, political candidates, and on, and on, and on. Why? Why don’t you participate? Why do you leave the important issues to others? Call me and help me to understand how it is that two-thirds of you didn’t even bother to exercise your most precious right in the last election? Join guest host Greg Russak for this important discussion at 1:00 PM today.

War on the Poor and the TPP. Open Conversation on "Lunch with Louden" | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 00:55:00

Lunch with Louden offers important live discussion covering a broad range of subject. Today join guest host John Henry on Coffee Party Radio's Lunch with Louden as we take your calls and discuss issues including how the cycle of fines and imprisonment has created a 'war on the poor' in America, and the sharp divide over the Trans-Pacific Partnership - who's right, who's wrong, and why? Plus we'll be looking forward to hearing from YOU live tomorrow at 3pmEST/Noon Pacific on 'Lunch with Louden!'

Becoming Madison: A Conversation with Author Michael Signer | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 00:32:00

James Madison’s method to guide political discussion is to politics as Lao Tze’s “Art of War” is to battle tactics. His passion and preparedness completely neutralized the fiery orators such as Patrick Henry. Madison was even more amazing considering he wrestled with debilitating anxieties that manifested into physical infirmities. Nonetheless, as debates roared among the Founding Fathers, a building calm would settle-in as they all paused to hear what Madison will say. This book is not just a wonderful historical account of James Madison and his life. It’s also a brilliant examination of civil political tactics that can be applied to any contemporary environment where politics is encountered – government, corporate, and service. Listen to this interesting conversation and then you are encouraged to buy the book. Since 2010 The Tim Danahey Show discusses economics, government, social issues, history, and non-fiction books in a magazine format featuring in-depth conversations with guests.  Politics Done Right: Trans-Pacific Partnership #TPP | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 00:57:00

The Trans- Pacific Partnership (TPP) is a convoluted and controversial subject. Those against it are easy to find, but those who support it are a little more subdued. For example, there are electoral ramifications: how much longer do we wait for Hillary to make her views known; what do we do if she supports it or remains evasive; where do other major party candidates, like Rand, Ted, and Marco, stand. Green Party Candidate Jill Stein has already announced that she is against passage of the TPP for example. How do we mobilize if it passes? Let's bring it on! Guest co-hosts Jeanene Louden and Tim Danahey will lead the discussion.

Author Conversation: "They Know Everything about You" on "The Tim Danahey Show" | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 00:35:00

We all value Constitutional protections. They were designed to protect us from our government. But what happens when Silicon Valley corporations are the agents of government and they use social media and hardware to violate our Fourth Amendment protections? Should we have to forfeit our rights to when we click “I Agree” to use social media? Should Congress enact “opt in” legislation that requires data gatherers specific permission to use or sell our information? The degree of data gathering has gone far beyond anything we imagined. In fact, Facebook is working with the Defense Department on the Minerva Research Initiative which is designed to use social media to coerce public opinion and quell dissent. You won’t believe what the person in charge of Google’s long-term planning said about swallowing a daily data chip with you vitamin and their ability to monitor whether you’ve taken your pill today. It’s FDA-approved. Listen to the author of “They Know Everything About You” then buy the book.  Since 2010 The Tim Danahey Show show discusses economics, government, social issues, history, and non-fiction books in a magazine format featuring in-depth conversations with guests.  "Disinformation: The Reason We Are Divided" on "I Take LIBERTY With My Coffee" | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 01:59:00

More recent polarizing issues are being reported and commented on in all forms of media. Recent legislation in Indiana and Arkansas, Jade Helm 15 and of course Money in Politics. While reading and monitoring how these issues are being reported, once again, partisan media and organizations continue to spin irresponsible narratives, with some that are literally blatantly false. Yet people will follow this disinformation down the rabbit hole and then adopt them as fact and essentially removing any chance for even a reasonable discussion on what is really going on so we as a society can actually fix it. This week I have asked a Media Panel to discuss specific issues that are not being reported honestly and how this type of irresponsible reporting continues to keep us divided as a society. We will have the latest in breaking important news subject and our weekly Education Update. So grab a cup of coffee and please join us for this important discussion with Ford Fischer from News2Share, Justin King Editor-in-Chief of THE FiFth Column and Isa Hodge Radio Show Host of Muslim & Catholic in Merica. The Education Update with Badass Teacher Marla Kilfoyle. Longtime Activist, Coffee Party Newsroom Editor & Radio Host, Bobby Rodrigo's new show on "I Take LIBERTY With My Coffee" on Coffee Party USA Radio every Sunday Morning at 8:30AM. Advocating engagement Bobby points out the Constitution is the Rule of Law and why it should remain so.
