Intro To X
Summary: Watching every single episode of the X-Files for the first time, again. No Spoilers.
DJ Jon Johnny Jon and Matt A join us for 5x13 "Patient X" in which Krycek and Cobrakai get super steamy on a ship. We are all shocked to realize Mulder still doesn't believe in aliens (just vampires) and Cigarette Smoking Man is still dead. In the super creepy Millennium 2x13 "The Mikado" we go back to a time to when there were only 473 porn sites on the web.
It's time for whimsical unnecessary-murder-by-law-enforcement officials as Mulder guiltlessly kills someone because he thinks they might be a vampire. Luckily by Mulder's definition absolutely every person place and/or thing is a vampire. Dave and Matt join us for 5x12 "Bad Blood". Millennium 1x12 "Luminary" brings back introduces us to Terry O'Quinn's mustache family and we are attacked by Chris Carter monologues.
Let’s hack the planet with Ian and Chris for 5x11 – “Kill Switch” Wherein Scully falls in love with a cyber-raccoon and David Duchovny attempt to make some acting choices. The assisted suicide episode of Millennium 2x11 "Goodbye Charlie" is another great and subtle ep.
Frank Briggs returns to deliver an underwater-garbage-murder-doll to the child of the man murdered by the afore mentioned garbage-murder-doll and his constantly stalked widow in 5x10 "Chinga" written by Stephen King. Millennium continues to knock it out of the park with the amazing Christmas Ep 2x10 "Midnight of the Century"
It's "Blame The Interns" Week on X-Files as Ian and Matt join us to discuss Episode 5x09 – "Schizogeny" in which the Lorax defeats Norman Bates-esque woman with questionable fashion accessories. On Millennium we discuss the amazing Darin Morgan episode 2x09 "Jose Chung's 'Doomsday Defense'"
Chris and Will join us to play the game of 5x08 "Kitsunegari". Who's pushing who in this sequel to "Pusher" and why? We learn the dangers of not keeping your glasses within reach and Sbarro pizza. On Millennium, Frank and Peter go on a wacky mythology hunt in Germany in 2x08 "The Hand of Saint Sebastian".
Evangeline is here to help us bury Scully's dead monster-garbage-baby in 5x07 "Emily". It somehow goes out of it's way to be mad boring and brings an unmissed David Duchovny back into the show. Millennium 2x07 "19:19" is a creepy delight with crazy kid snatching Jeezos and Kristen Cloke.
Happy Holidayzzz! Moira and Josh join us for 5x06 Christmas Carol. It's xmas time and this year we get a (practically) David Duchovny free episode! Though we do have to suffer through Ghost-Choker Melissa and Terrible-Human Bill Scully. Also that demon seed monster baby from Millennium is back and this time... it's a Scully. Millennium 2x06 "The Curse of Frank Black" is an amazing creepy Halloween nightmare.
Matt B and Robin join Tammy to discuss 5x05 "The Post-Modern Prometheus" a "fun" rape episode written AND directed by Chris Carter. Millennium 2x05 "A Single Blade of Grass" puts Frank dangerously close to lying in a salad.
DJ Johnny Jon Jon and Matt B join us for the insanity that is 5x04 “Detour” A super kooky romp through the swamp with Mark from RENT and conquistador monsters. No joke, that's for serious what's going on here whether you guys are willing to accept it or not. Magic. Conquistador. Monsters. Also we discuss Millennium 2x04 “Monster" which features the triumphant return of Kristen Cloke!
Mike and Bob join us for 5x03 “Unusual Suspects” It's the Lone Gunmen origin story that you never wanted with the Richard Beltzer crossover appearance that this show doesn't deserve. Also we discuss Millennium 2x03 “Sense and Antisense"
Jason and Matt join us for Redux Part 2 the final part of a three part... epic? Bill Scully Jr. remains the worst. We uncover the questionable dental coverage for the Elders and we repeatedly drag a reluctant Claire back to Scully's Room. Meanwhile Sheriff Frank fights evil man-eating canines in Bucksnort for Millennium 2x02 “Beware The Dogs”
We're here in season five! If you love long rambling monologues and the high stakes drama of walking down hallways and attempting to open doors this is the episode for you. Moira endures this massive snooze fest with us and brings a grip of (hopefully true) fun facts. Millennium is back and amazing Brad and Tammy peel back the veils of dvd bonus features to explain the magical basis for the real life Millennium Group.
It's the season four finale and we've never been closer to the truth. Alirio (and sometimes Artie) join us to talk about 4x24 – Gethesemane. There's a terrible dinner party and an almost completely useless slide show fighting for Scully's attention. Also Mulder shoots himself in the head! We prepare our salad bowls for season 5.
Evangeline is invited to our Thomas Kincaid Christmas Cottage for 4x23 "Demons" Mulder falls down a K-hole and gets shocking flashbacks of things we all already knew. Millennium 1x22 "Paper Dove" is an awesomely creepy season one finale that makes up for a lack of Detective Sandwich with a woman showcasing the most ridiculous accent ever.
