 P1FD: | 9 PM EST - ENCORE Show: A Call to Action | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 02:00:00

ENCORE SHOW! Our society is perhaps faced with more challenges than ever before.  In our past we have had major singular issues that has mobilized us to stand up to tyranny or evil at every turn.  But never have we been faced with the avalanche we have piling on our road.  The NDAA, NSA, TPP, Hemp, Ballot Access, Drones, Continued Warmongering, Corporate Personhood, Money in Politics, Identity Politics, Corporate Media and so much more.  With such a full plate of problems facing us and an expansion of these problems on the horizon we must stand up.   This week on June 7 in Albany, NY, PANDA, People Against the NDAA is doing just that and has invited friends.  The Green Party, The Libertarian Party, Empire State NORML, Hemp History Week, The Bill of Rights Defense Committee, Occupy, the Tea Party and a number of Artists including Immortal Technique, Saving Abel, Jordan Page and The Siren.  So I want to introduce this event and some of the participants to the Coffee Party audience and to discuss how we can promote working together and talking to each other about what the problems are and what the solutions can be.  Let's work together.

Politics Done Right - Ebola, healthcare, and privilege | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 01:00:00

This week’??s show Ebola, Healthcare, and Privilege October 10th, 2014 Thomas Eric Duncan died this week from Ebola. He is the first person treated in for Ebola in the US that died. He is also characteristically and otherwise different from all those that survived their own bout with Ebola. Sadly both Thomas Eric Duncan's healthcare and death revealed much about our privileged healthcare system. Worst, it shows that American citizenship while not explicitly tiered is definitely implicitly tiered. Let's discuss Ebola, healthcare, and privilege. What are your thoughts? Let’s  talk. I will also be following our hash-tag #PoliticsDoneRight on Twitter. You can also find previous episodes on YouTube here.

Politics Done Right - Obama finally defends his entire economic record | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 00:58:00

This week’??s show Obama finally defends his entire economic record Obama October 4th, 2014 President Obama had a great economic week. The numbers on Obamacare are coming in and it seems to be firing on all cylinders. The president gave a great speech at Northwestern University where he factually enumerated his accomplishments and also what else he wanted done. Then on Friday, the jobs report beat expectations. Going into the 2014 elections, it is important that Americans know the real state of our country. One wonders sometimes why it takes the President such a long time to refute the misinformation industry. He should by now realize that art of repeating lies work. The only thing to mitigate it is the art of telling the truth over and over repeatedly. It is not easy but it is necessary. What are your thoughts? Let’s  talk. I will also be following our hash-tag #PoliticsDoneRight on Twitter. You can also find previous episodes on YouTube here.

Battle at the ballot box - Lunch with Louden 10/2/14 | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 00:55:00

Battle at the ballot box: your civil right and civic duty to vote.  In Hong Kong there are tens of thousands of protesters in the streets because their vote has been marginalized by state selection of candidates. Meanwhile, back in the US, citizens are fighting to exercise their civil right and civic duty to vote. In North Carolina there is much to celebrate after a federal court of appeals blocked at least part of the voter suppression law in that state. Reverend Barber from the NAACP Moral Monday Movement spoke to the laws and to a voter misinformation mailer put out by The American Prosperity Foundation, funded primarily by the Koch’s on All In with Chris Hayes yesterday. Your can watch the segment here.  Today is October 2nd, and election day is November 4th, so in every state in the union it is not too late to register to vote. If you wonder what the registration dates are in your state, click here On today’s Lunch with Louden we will discuss the challenge of voting in America, and hope you will call in to discuss your state’s efforts to empower or suppress the vote. LUNCH with LOUDEN Jeanene Louden and co-host Debilyn Molineaux talk about current events and look for opportunities to bridge political divides, expose corruption and share information not covered in mainstream media. They also take the lead in keeping Coffee Parrty members and followers in the loop.

Politics Done Right - War and the Obama derangement syndrome | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 01:01:00

This week’??s show  War and the Obama derangement syndrome  September 27th, 2014 To be clear, I completely disagree with President Obama going to war with ISIS / ISIL. In fact I believe we have been conned into war and I have written several blog posts about that (here, here, here, here). Everyone who disagree with President Obama’s action should speak out against it and try to force our politicians to do what is right. Just like many of us spoke out against President Bush’s illegal war in Iraq, we must speak out against this unnecessary war. That said, America is one nation. Most on the Right, Left, and Middle gave President Bush the legitimacy the world needed to see even in disagreement. Unfortunately, President Obama is unable to get this legitimacy from the other side. What is ironic is that the President has acquiesced to the military industrial complex. The President has acquiesced to the neocons. The President has acquiesced to the Republicans. So why can he not get the needed support overtly? This is the Obama derangement syndrome. It throws rational thought out the door. GOP Congressman Doug Lamborn’s (R-CO) attack on the President is the latest case. What are your thoughts? Let’s  talk. I will also be following our hash-tag #PoliticsDoneRight on Twitter. You can also find previous episodes on YouTube here.

P1FD: Encore GETTING AMERICA BACK TO WORK | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 01:31:00

Press [1] for Democracy (P1FD) is a Coffee Party Radio show that discusses the political issues of the day in a civil, fact-based, and transpartisan manner.  Transpartisan is quite different from bi- or non-partisan in the we encourage callers to be passionate about their positions, but also that they listen and respond to those with differing points of view repsectfully and with a true desire to find common ground on which solutions can be built.   Tonight on P1FD . . . ... we will be playing an encore of "Gettin America Back to Work". Enjoy!  From the original show: With the exception of a nine month lull, corporate profits have continued to skyrocket since the Crash of ‘08.  Yet for the middle class, not only has “the recovery” been a huge failure, but current trends suggest that things are going to get worse before they get better.  We're drowingn in debt, unemployment is creeping back up towards 8%, and student loans have created a new credit bubble. But wait!  If the “job creators” are getting richer by the minute, where are the good new jobs? The question is, are we just going to take this lying down, or is there something we can do about it? Tonight, bring your ideas on how to create jobs to the Coffee Party's newest Blogtalk Radio show, hosted by political activist Dan Aronson.

Politics Done Right - Common sense please, ISIS / ISIL is more hype than threat | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 01:00:00

This week’??s show Common sense please, ISIS / ISIL is more hype than threat September 13th, 2014 Today  we discuss our new war, the ISIS / ISIL war. I think the neocons and the military industrial complex have so far been successful in using the media (both American media and ISIL’s media operation) to dictate American foreign policy. In effect they have convinced Americans to force President Obama into a war footing. They have convinced Americans that 10,000 (now supposedly 30,000) fighters mostly in pickup trucks with attached guns, a large bank account, a few guns, knives, and the propensity to behead for effect are powerful enough to fight the armies in the region let alone the United states. I discuss this in my blog post titled “ Common sense please, ISIS / ISIL is more hype than threat.” What are your thoughts? Let’s  talk. I will also be following our hash-tag #PoliticsDoneRight on Twitter. You can also find previous episodes on YouTube here.

Opportunity for the People? SJRes 19: Lunch with Louden 9/11/14 | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 01:04:00

What kind of opportunity is today's anticipated Senate vote on a constitutional amendment to regain the right to legislate money in politics? It feels like some bit of irony that on this anniversary of tragedy this concept will be publicly judged. Some say it is just another photo op, sound bite fest, waste of time (Congress as usual these days). Some, like me, consider it a chance for the will of The People to show its face in the halls of Congress. What do you say?   LUNCH with LOUDEN Jeanene Louden and co-host Debilyn Molineaux talk about current events and look for opportunities to bridge political divides, expose corruption and share information not covered in mainstream media.
