Wait no this movie is about a crazy malcontent of a woman who ditches her normal and handsome and rich fiance for a guy she's never met on the radio. Of course this is Sleepless in Seattle. This measuring stick for modern romantic comedies was certainly one of the biggest hits of 1993 with Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan giving iconic performances that would be remembered for years to come. We wrap up the month of May with the R rated Stallone action classic that revitalized his career after some comedic misfires at the box office. Its basically Die Hard on a mountain top complete with an over the top ham bone villain played by John Lithgow and all the bells and whistles. This movie hold the record for the costliest aerial stunt ever captured on film and with all the real and practical shots and effects, it really is one of the last movies of its kind to be made without the use of cheap CGI. This time around its various parodies and spoofs on Rambo, T2, Robocop and Star Wars. Charlie Sheen returns as Topper Harley, who must now save US soldiers behind the enemy lines of Iraq. Classic straight men like Lloyd Bridges and Richard Crenna co-star. These kinds of movies are like a running "jokes per minute" counter with most being stupid, but some being quite funny.
