Film History on Videotape is back with another awards season review. Moneyball is the best picture nominated film based on the book by Michael Lewis. It follows the Oakland Athletics general manager Billy Bean during the 2002 baseball season.  Bard Pitt in the lead role with Jonah Hill supporting and an Aaron Sorkin adapted Script, all nominated, makes for an unconventional yet familiar take on the baseball genre.
