Leverage Your Content | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 3:29

Hey, this is Mike Cowles from Internet Marketing Podcast and today we're gonna be talking about leveraging your content. Now when it comes to leveraging your content and getting the most bang for your buck whether it's for traffic or whether it's for your customers or it's for your profit. The bottom line is this you have to start with video. If you take video, you can simply strip the audio from it once you're done. When I say you, I really mean your virtual assistant or somebody that you've hired. You always wanna leverage your skills as an entrepreneur. Once that video is created, you can strip the audio from it. You can transcribe the audio and then you can turn that into different content whether its PDFs, reports, your blogpost or you're guest blog posts. There's a million different things you can do with it. If you're the type of person that does not like the way you look on camera, what you can do is you can start with the audio and then have your virtual assistant or whoever you have working for you create a slideshow like a powerpoint presentation based on the transcription of that audio. It's a little bit more work and honestly its not quite as personable as somebody seen your face like this so they can catch all those expressions and those different innuendos that come just for having a conversation like this. Once you created your video and you've had the audio stripped from it and you've had it transcribed, here's a few other things you can do in order to get more bang for your buck. First of all, take that video, upload it to Youtube. Youtube is, I think, the third biggest search engine or second biggest search engine on the planet  right now and Google loves it. There's a ton of traffic you're gonna get just for having your video uploaded to your Youtube channel. The second thing is take that video and email it to your list of subscribers. Say “Hey, I created a new video about topic A,B or C.” That's all. You don't have to pressure anything, you don't have to sell anything, just let them know what's its about. So that they can go and click on that and view it. The next thing is take that video and put it on Facebook. Make a short comment about what it is. Make sure you don't use the exact same words on your blogpost and Facebook and everywhere else but re-write it to basically say this is what the videos about. Once you put it on Facebook, make sure that you like it. Then you wanna tweet about your content as well. Make sure you put it on your blog as a new blogpost and then tell everybody whether its in Facebook, whether its in Youtube to check out your blog for more great content. Also constantly ask people to leave feedback or  leave a review. If you're interested in getting great results where you have thousand of people checking out your content but you don't necessarily want to go through all through these steps, we can do it for you at www.epicmarketer.com. But this is what I teach my coaching students, this is what I do from my own business and it's what I suggest for you as well. So if this contents been helpful for you, then do what I'm asking you to do which is please leave a review, give us 5 stars on iTunes or simply make a comment below and Facebook. Thanks so much and we'll talk to you soon.

 Conversion Secrets | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 5:02

Hi! This is Mike Cowles with Internet Marketing Podcast and today we've got a really cool session about conversion secrets and the three things that your website absolutely needs in order to turn visitors into customers and then for today's power tip, we're gonna be talking about how to automate and leverage Twitter and Facebook when it comes to sending out content. Let's jump right in. So first thing is as far as conversion goes when people come to look at your site, they normally have a problem and they're looking for a solution. So the most important thing is going to be your offer. If your offer is not something that's relevant, if its not exciting, if its not value-pact, it won't convert. If you're selling a Lamborghini for a $1, they're gonna buy it even if you're a terrible salesman. So keep in mind, you're offer is the most important thing. Likewise, if you're selling something that's a piece of garbage, even if its a great price. People are still not gonna want it. Be targeted, be relevant, solve a problem with your product. That's your offer, that's the first thing. The second thing is proof. If you have a piece of software, demonstrate it. Show them how it works. Show them how simple it is. Show them how many clicks it takes in order to get the desired results. If its a service, show them results. Show them testimonials from people that have used it but main thing is think proof. Testimonials are powerful but showing them an actual case study or showing them the results is even more important. If its a matter of earning income from your product then login with a video and show them how much money you've made. This a very powerful way to get people to understand and believe that your product actually works. The last thing for high conversion is scarcity. If you don't have some reason for them to buy right now they will leave. This doesn't have to be a false scarcity and it never should be where you're lying to your customers but sometimes scarcity is there's only a certain number available or the prices will be going up at some point. One of the forms of scarcity that should be a good natural one to use that's evergreen is listen how long do you wanna deal with this problem. If this problem is hurting you, you want a solution. You're proof right now. One last thing to always help conversions is to always have a guarantee. The only exception to this is if its a service where you've done the work and they want their money back. I don't normally offer a guarantee in that sense but you do always wanna offer if its a service, that you're willing to work with them to make sure that they're happy and that the expectations are clear. Now, the other thing that we're gonna talk about so for today's power tip, we're gonna be talking about leveraging Facebook and Twitter with Aweber. Now the way that this works is you can setup your content for the week or even for the month on one setting. What were talking about is you sit down and you write everything out and you want this to go out in your Facebook account or your Twitter account whenever you post to your audience. So what you can do is you can automate these with Aweber by simply tying your Facebook account and Twitter account to your Aweber list. Now what you do is you schedule these as what's called a broadcast and you schedule this out for a specific dates and times to go out. So typically what a lot of marketers do is they will either have a broadcast that goes right now “Hey, there's a sale grab it” or they will setup an autoresponder series where if you sign up today and over the next 5 days you will get 5 emails that will give you X amount of information. Well you can schedule those broadcasts to go out specific date and time and you can have those also go out to your Facebook and Twitter account. So what happens now is you're leveraging these major players of social media so that your content is going out at a specific time.

 Unlimited Ideas | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 4:23

Hi! This is Mike Cowles from Internet Marketing Podcast and in today's session we're gonna be talking about a great technique for storing ideas and making sure that you never run out of content and in today's power tip we're gonna talk about a great way to stand apart of the crowd and build a relationships. Let's jump right in. So the first thing as far as getting ideas and having a never ending supply of ideas is to use your smartphone. I use the iPhone, if you have an Android, it doesn't matter. All of them have an app which is free in there which is notepad or some version of notepad. The key for me, personally because I'm a little bit ADD and sometimes I get distracted by things is as soon as I get a good idea I get into the habit of writing it down. If you get into the habit of doing this, everytime you wanna make a blog post or a video or a podcast, you simply go to your iPhone that you always have with you and you'll see that you have some great content in there, great ideas and you can just expand about it and talk about it for a few minutes like I'm doing here. So now for today's power tip, one of the ways that you can stand apart from other people and build relationships is also with your smartphone. Now, if you don't have a smartphone, they're really coming down in price I suggest you get one. Even if you're on a company like Cricket or Boost Mobile you can get phones like iPhone for $50 a month. In my opinion because I use my phone for my business I treat it as an investment. I went with Verizon. I think they have the best coverage and the best service and you can get that for around $100 a month for an iPhone. To me, the iPhone is the best versus the Android but either way it'll still works. Now here's how to separate yourself from everybody else. In order to build relationships once you finished having a conversation with somebody, it doesn't matter if its in a networking event, if its in the phone, if its on Skype or if its via email. If this is somebody that is in an influential circle that you wanna be in. In other words, you wanna build relationship with that person then use your phone and create a self portrait video that short like 30 seconds to sum it up. Now the way to do that on the iPhone for instance is to simply go to your camera. You switch it from the pictures to the video like this and then you switch it the view right there and this will actually show me. If I take the video like this, I simply hit record on here and I would stand there and hold the camera and say something like “Hey Tom, this is Mike Cowles. I just wanna say it was great meeting you at the event and I appreciate you sharing the content that you did about your business and the about the upcoming JV that we might have going on. I think this would be a great fit for your list. If there's anything I can do to help, just let me know. Talk to you soon.” Then you can actually send that video with your phone, whether its an Android or an iPhone you can send it to them as a text message attachment or you can send it to them as an email. What you'll find is nobody is doing this out there. When I say nobody, I'm doing it. Some intelligent marketers that are aggressive about building a relationship are doing it. The vast majority is afraid to do this. So if you don't mind having a conversations, just like I'm having right now with somebody, where you look at the lens for thirty seconds instead of looking into their eyes and recognize that they're gonna be looking at that the same way as you would having a conversation then you can build a relationship very quickly and it really only take about thirty seconds or a minute to do while its fresh in your mind. The key is to do it right away, as soon as you hang up as soon as you closed the door. Either go to your hotel room or go to your office or whatever it is but just record that video right then and sum up what we talked about. So that's my tip for today.

 Epic Updates | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 2:29

Hi! This is Mike Cowles from the Internet Marketing Podcast and I just wanna let you know that in today's session we're gonna be talking about some major updates that we're doing in my business with www.epicmarketer.com as well as some of the improvements that we've done to Mike's Academy and how its gonna affect you. Let's jump right in. So the first thing is, I've been consolidating my business and all the different sites that I have to be more efficient with my time and to be more intentional with my customers so that its a better experience for them. They don't have to run around all over the place. There's not different domains to bookmark or memorize instead there's only one place they go to and that's www.epicmarketer.com. So if you go there, you'll gonna see that I have all my services are on there and my products are on there with one exception. The products that I have listed on there are just my software products. Right now, there's about a dozen on there and what you'll find is that those are available for purchase but as far as information products what I'm doing is a major change in my business is actually an improvement to Mike's Academy and I'm gonna be including all of my information products for Mike's Academy members. So what this means to you is when I've done surveys to my list to ask them how many service they bought. Most people have bought 5 – 7 of my products. Well, if you sign up for Mike's Academy, you're gonna get access to all of my products and there's literally dozens and dozens of my products all at once. There's no drift fight content or anything like that, there's no waiting. You get instant access to all of my information products just by being a member of Mike's Academy. So I will be adding content in there regularly. To the tune of at least once a month, there will be a new product in there. You can access to a bunch of other things as well including discounts from other vendor's products, if not free products from other vendors in order to help them get that experience of getting to meet you. There's other advantages if you go to www.epicmarketer.com and click on the “Academy” then you'll see right there all the details. So that's it for today's session, I look forward to hearing your comments below.

 $150,000 Challenge | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 4:34

Summary: $150k challenge to succeed and a power tip for building customer loyalty Hi! This is Mike Cowles from the Internet Marketing Podcast and today we're gonna be talking about a great challenge which is worth $150,000 or more as well as a tip to build customer loyalty. Let's jump right in. So first the $150,000 challenge is this – If I was to offer you a $150,000 to buy all of the TV sets that you have in your house, would you be willing to do it? Most likely you'd say 'Yes' but here's the catch. If you're not allowed to watch anymore TV for 3 years and you don't get paid that $150,000 for full three years, would you still do it? Now, the question that might come up is “Gosh, what I'm gonna do during that time, over the next 3 years?” and the answer is what every successful marketer and business person and entrepreneur does which is read books. Now, you'll find if you don't watch TV if you cut that element out of your life of watching TV on a regular basis. They actually say that most Americans watch 4 – 6 hours of TV a day. If instead of doing that you spend time solving problems for people as well as contacting, making friends with influential people in your industry and seeing how you can serve them. You'll find that over the course of that 3 years, you'll make way more than $150,000 just by substituting television with reading and making friends and solving problems. So that's my $150,000 challenge for you today. I remember hearing when I was about 18 that a similar challenge but it was a media fast. The gentleman that talked about it said “If you go for 30 days without watching TV, without reading the newspaper or listening to the radio, what will happen is you'll find that everybody around you will start to become more negative.” The truth is they don't become more negative but you've become more positive because most marketing online and on the radio or on TV is negative based. Its fear based. There's a 20% chance of rain, why don't they say there's 80% of sun. Choosy moms choose Jif so that means you're not a choosy mom if you don't use that peanut butter. If you don't drive this car, you're not sexy, whatever it is. Whatever you'll find is you'll start being positive just by simply cutting out TV, radio and the newspaper. I personally did this when I was 18 so world the difference and haven't gone back. I actually haven't had paid cable TV since I was 18 years old. My wife actually likes to have cable TV for being able to see the weather and things like that but we never really watch it. The only thing we watch is either DVDs which is intentional or specific shows on like Netflix where we can fast forward to commercials or not having commercials at all. It makes the world the difference and what I found personally is when I'm talking with people is they see me as a much more positive person and somebody that sees solution or opportunities instead of problems or brick walls to run into. So that's my $150,000 challenge for you. Now the tip that I wanted to share, the power tip is having what's called an OTO or one time offer after somebody buys and give it to them for free. In other words build it up like “Here's the value”, “Here's what you needed”, “Here's how its gonna make a difference” and then “For you today, its free”. What this will do is it will be a refreshing change. It will be what its called a pattern interrupt for your customers that are used to being beat up to get more money out of them and instead have it be free. Now, what's gonna happen not only they're gonna feel a sense of relief but they're also gonna look at other products of yours and they're also gonna tell their friends how you are different as a marketer. So that's it for today, I hope you enjoy this session of internet marketing podcast and we'll talk to you soon.

James Schramko Interview | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 1:09:40

This is a great interview I did with James Schramko... Links mentioned in the podcast: www.superfastbusiness.com www.fastwebformula.com http://freedomocean.com http://mikesacademy.com http://mikecowles.com Hey! This is Mike Cowles, and welcome to the Internet marketing podcast. Today, I'm gonna be able to do a conversation with one of my favorite internet marketer James Schramko from www.superfastbusiness.com and today's topic is Mindset. Mike: Hey! This is Mike Cowles of www.mikespodcast.com and today I have the privilege of having on one of favorite marketers; he's a guy that I really look up to a lot and just really respect and relate to a lot too. He's name is James Schramko. James, how are you doing, buddy? James: Doing very well thank you Mike. Mike: Excellent! Well, one of the things I really like about you is a just your mindset and your attitude. It's almost kinda stellar cause you come across as a really relax, but you're kinda locomotive kind of a businessman. James: I think I am a pretty relax. I am just being myself. M: Sure. I remember I was listening to I think you were talking to Dan from Lifestyle Business and you mention that you put out around 3,000 posts in like 7 months or 9 months, is that right? J: Easily, yeah. I got a couple of communities and I'm also a member of a few other communities and forum marketing has been one of my long term strategies because it got so many elements around helping you understand your market and I find it enjoyable to post in this and its something that I do every single day and have done almost since the time I started online so its no doubt I've racked up thousands and thousands of posts. M: Well, I tell you one of the things I noticed. My sister was actually, we talk a little about this before we jump on a call, but my sister was the one who told me about you and the way that she describes you was a “he's a guy who does internet marketing but what he does differently than all the other guys is he really treat it as a business.” I remember thinking “Hmmm, okay. Sounds kinda interesting!” as soon as I started listening to your podcasts I notice that you weren't just teaching you were saying, “Hey, here's how to do it. I can show you for free right now, tell you all the core elements or you could buy my products where I could show you hand by hand or step by step whatever or our team can do it for you.” I just thought what a great concept because I know for me personally I talk to a lot of different marketers and one of the challenges is just mindset for a lot of people. If they're not technical, they get stuck on that. If they're shy, they won't make videos or whatever it is. So to be able to say I teach you how or our team will do it for you is such a great solution. You know what I'm saying? J: Yeah and it's like there's really three ways that work well, there's the “I'll teach you how to do it so you could do it yourself” such as the “DIY market” we're very familiar with especially with renovation shows popular. Then there's the “done for you” just like the “hands off give me some money and I'll do it for you” which is great. But there's one in the middle which is really popular especially with my community and that's “we do it” and that's where we sit down and do something together. It's not just teaching them how to do it, leaving them to their own devices and its not just doing for them but its a combination of “you know what we'll talk about it and then we'll actually do it together and then now you know how to do it.” Its a sort of they're getting partial, a little bit of each. I absolutely think that a huge mistake people make is actually trying to learn how to do things they shouldn't be learning in the first place. More people should be taking done for you solutions. M: Yeah. I agree a hundred percent. I do coaching as well and I have people come in and they're like “Great! Should I learn how to do HTML?

 2013 Goals And Changes | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 19:23

Hey, Happy New Year! This is Mike Cowles from www.mikespodcast.com and in today's session we're gonna be talking about the different steps we're gonna be taking this year to make changes in my business as well as a key strategy you can follow in your own business to avoid information overload. So in today's session we're gonna be talking about this year and specifically gonna be focusing on in order to bring you my readers and customers the absolute best quality content, training, tips, tools and everything else I possibly can this year. So I plan on having this year be the best year of my life as far as business goes as well as a bunch of other things. One of the things I'm gonna be focusing on outside of business in order to help me with my business is working on the physical health as well. Whether it's working out on several times in a week or even healthier getting rest, getting up a little bit earlier, going to bed a little bit earlier which I know my wife will like. All those things, I believe will help me focus more on my business as well as being more productive and by being more intentional with the things I plan out. I believe that it's gonna help me focus and have the different things I'm creating for my customer be that much higher quality. So one of the things I've been thinking about and reading about and listening to other marketers talk about that I believe is really true as far as productivity goes is to understand is that we really a lot of times need to take away things from our schedule, from our focus, from our to do list in order to get the things that are most important done. The Pareto's principle comes in a play here and if you don't know what that is the 80/20 rule which basically says that 80% of your results are gonna come from 20% of your efforts. So the key is, is to occasionally take a step back and to look at what you're doing and kinda question whether its your schedule, the things that you say are important, the things that your spending time on and to really track this stuff. So for me, what it means is to simplify the number of sites that I have, the number of projects that I'm working on and to bring my focus down to my podcast, my academy, my blog and done for your services. The done for you services is something that normally pays very well but can definitely can suck up a lot of your time. So for me this year to setup done for you services that are already ready to go and kinda package where it say "Hey, you can pick from silver gold or platinum plan” or whatever it is that is really going to help let the customers know up front what to expect as well as help me to scale it and systematize it. So the keyword that I really wanna focus on this year is exactly that which is systematize. There's a book that I highly recommend called "E-myth" and the "E-myth Revisited", those are a couple of different versions of the same book. The guy talks about how I think the percentages like 90% of most single business owners that start a business fail within 5 years however if somebody starts a business and its part of a franchise like a McDonald or Subway or Burger King or whatever than 75% of them succeed and I believe the reason for that is because most people only have a few different gifts naturally. Now, if you're a mechanic, maybe you maybe working for the man and say to yourself, “I could make more money if I just did this out of my garage”. The challenge is as soon as you start doing it that you're gonna realize that you're also gonna be the janitor, the bookkeeper, the collections person and a million other different things. Those may not be your skill, your gifts or whatever. So when you systematize things and you have an operations manual or standard operating procedures then you can normally outsource it but you do have to train people over and over again and you can be super productive with it. So systematizing the business is a big deal.

 5 Skills You Need Online! | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 23:23

In today's session, we're gonna be talking about 5 technical skills that you absolutely need to make money online and for today's power tip, I'm gonna be revealing a free tool for setting up systems from anywhere. Alright, welcome to the Internet Marketing podcast, this is your host Mike Cowles. For the first technical skill of five that you really need in order to make money online, the first one is Blogging. What we're talking about with blogging is not actually setting up a blog, you can hire somebody to do that for $5 bucks on Fiverr and because its something that you really only need to do once. There's no reason to go ahead and acquire a new skill to be able to do that. What I'm talking about is the actual active blogging – writing posts, creating pages, adding videos and audios and reports, etc. The reason why this is so important, is first of all, is you own it. Just like my buddy James Schramko talks about owning a race course, you own your own blog. There's a lot of different great opportunity out there right now whether its Facebook or YouTube or whatever and all those things have their place but each one of those things are own by somebody else and the rules tend to change overtime. Sometimes its a matter of a trend, some things no longer popular. Can you say my space, other times a company may decide to change the rules and you may be kicked out for whatever reason. So when it comes to a blog, you own it on your own domain. We're not talking about having it on Wordpress .org or .com. We're talking about you spend the $9 on GoDaddy to get a domain name, you get your hosting most likely from Hostgator for $3 - $4 bucks a month and now you own a blog. You can constantly point people back to your site. The reason why this is so critical is you can bring people to your blog in order to put them on your list, you can get them in front of your offers, you can reveal affiliate offers, special offers, you can bring bring them back to your own products, etc. A huge thing is Google rewards you for having a good quality blog with more traffic. Every time you create a new page or a new post if you do it the right way, the way that I teach in the academy, then you'll actually rank for that and you'll get more traffic every single time you do it because you're doing it in long-tail keywords. Now, what I mean by that is if you're in the dog training niche, a long tail keyword might be “how to teach your German shepherd to sit” versus a short tail keyword will be something like “dog training”. If you do it the right way and you get some keywords research done which is not a skill that you need to learn then you have a nice long list of keyword phrases that you can be blogging about on a regular basis and just one good batch of keyword research should last you for several months as far as topics to blog about. So skill number #2 is Research. This is something that's definitely teachable and learnable but its something that's extremely valuable. What I'm talking about as far as research is not going to the library, not hiring a detective. I'm talking about researching your market, researching what your audience is looking for. The way to do this most of the time is by going to sites like Google or YouTube and putting up simple questions. If the number #1 concern that you seen in blog and in podcasts and in forums is, for instance, if you're in the dog training niche or let's use it as an example, is “my dog is eating my shoes.” Then you simply go to Google and type in “how to get my dog to stop eating my shoes”. You can word that a bunch of different ways – how to get your dog, how to teach your dog, how to stop your dog, and then you break it down to different breeds – how to get your German shepherd, how to get your golden retriever, how to get your poodle. You'll find different answers for all those things but you'll end up coming across a few things.

Authority Blog Site Traffic | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 12:44

In today's session, we're gonna be revealing one of the secrets of getting massive traffic from blogs as well as a Christmas special offer. This is Mike Cowles, thanks so much for joining me at the Internet Marketing podcast. Today's topic is in response to one of my readers, Erik Smith, with the following question 'Hey Mike, this is Erik. Just checkin' out your site for the first time. Looks really cool. Being a beginner, I made a few sales online but my major problem is where to generate some kind of a free traffic to my websites. I have some good setup websites but really right now I'm not giving any traffic to them. So if you could respond and let me know the best traffic methods that you've experienced. That are free traffic methods that would be great. Thanks.' So Erik, in response to your question, my favorite source of free traffic comes from giving away great content through my blog at www.bloggingfreak.com . Thank you Big Mouth from www.Fiverr.com for that awesome voice over work. So here's the deal, this is why authority blog sites do so great for driving traffic. The first reason is because there's great content on the site. By great content, I'm not saying specifically like 'Hey, I am great!' What I'm saying is that I've done the homework in order to make sure that the content I put on there is targeted to a specific audience, in my case, the Internet Marketing niche, the people that wanna work from home and make money online. It's also targeted in the sense that it's very specific for one problem, one solution. It's also crystal clear to Google exactly what each post is about. What I mean by that is having a specific title, that's always my keyword phrase as well as naming the pictures or the videos exactly what the keywords are as well. So to be clear about that, let's say for instance, I have a post on www.bloggingfreak.com that's called Warrior Forum Events Speaker. Now, if you go to Google and you type in specifically 'warrior forum events speaker'. You'll see that my site www.bloggingfreak.com is number #3 out of over one million results. It's actually one million eighty thousand results. The reason why this is, is first is it's a long tail keyword. In other words, it's not like I'm saying 'speakers' it's specific to that event but it also got content specific in there about that topic. So you'll notice that there's a picture inside of there that's called the same thing so warrior forum event speaker .jpeg or .png whatever it is. If there's a video in there I would call the same thing .mp4. Now, the reason why this is important is because Google has way too many sites to actually send a human being to go and look at those all to see if they're really about what the title or post is saying is about. So what it does is it looks for the names of the pictures or names the videos to see if its relevant to what you're saying at the site or the blog post is about. So very important to have your title be the actual name of the keyword and if you put a picture or a video in there which I strongly suggest one or the other, name it exactly what the name of the keyword is. The next thing is it has two very strong backlinks that are done right away. The first one is from Twitter. In other words, once you make a blog posts simply tweet about it and say 'Hey, I just wrote a blog post about...' and say your keyword in this case 'warrior forum events speaker at' and then you put in your link. Now, that gonna, first of all, hopefully, drives traffic from Twitter if you have some followers but it also give out a backlink right away from a huge authority site. The next one is from Facebook so you wanna login your Facebook account and do the same thing as far as mention that you just wrote a blog post about whatever your keyword is but then you also wanna ask a question really important with Facebook as well as with your blog to initiate interaction. With Facebook,

Five Steps To Build Your List | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 17:52

Welcome to the Internet Marketing podcast and today's session we're gonna be talking about Five Steps to Building a great List and the nine tools that you need to get it done. Hey, this is Mike, welcome to the show. Today we're gonna be talking about one of my favorite topics List Building. Let's go ahead and get started. We're gonna be talking about the five steps to building a great list. Now, the first thing is to know your audience. If you are trying to sell the best hamburgers in the world to vegetarians, you gonna have a hard a time and you're not gonna make any sales. So simply understanding your audience is really the first step to building a great list. One of the best ways to do that is to visit blogs and forums and goggle groups, yahoo groups that kind a thing. In order to listen to what they're talking about, what they're excited about and what's really buggin' them. Once we do that then we can move on to steps two which is to know their pain. What I mean by that is a specific problem. So no matter what niche you're in whether its weight loss, dog training, finding the love of your life, making money online. Whatever it is, there's gonna be multiple problems. In this case, we're looking for a specific problem. If you're in, for instance, a dog training niche the challenges may be teaching your dog how to sit, teaching them how to rollover, teaching them how to calm, how to stay, how to not chew on your shoes, not to go to the bathroom in the house or things like that. What we're looking for is to narrow down out all of the different pain points what we think is the biggest pain point. And just saying what is the one area that people are either talking about the most because they're hating it or talking about the most because they're excited about the possibility of having that solution. Once we do that then we go to step three which is to find one solution to that one problem. Now the way that we're gonna find that solution, normally, is by going to Google. Now, if you're already an expert in this area, you probably already have the solution for it. But if you're not or you're just not quite positive if it's the best solution or one of the faster, easier solutions then you wanna go to Google and you just wanna type out how to blank whatever it is. Once you type that in, you're gonna see a bunch of different results. One of the faster ways to find these results is to click on the video tab on Google for the results. Just like doing a YouTube search and watch some of these videos where they're sayin' how to teach your dog how to sit or whatever it is that's the main problem. If it doesn't immediately jump out at you as this is a great solution then go to the next one. What you're looking for is somebody that's sharing good quality content that's very relevant for exactly what you're asking. So if they're all over the place and they're not focus or it seems like there are too many steps or only somebody with certain skills could do this. Then it's not a good option and we're looking for something that's it's going to appeal to the general population of your group. So once we find the solution what you can do now, is you either a. Point to an affiliate product b. Point to your own product or c. Point to either a report or video that you can give away. Now, step four is gonna be to organize this solution that you just done an easy access with an opt-in. So what I mean by that is you either again point to an affiliate product or your own product and do this by having either a report or a video. Even if it's an affiliate product let's say for instance, you say "Hey, I need to know how to teach my dog how to sit and you go to Google and you find somebody that's awesome, that's an affiliate product and in it he shows how to teach your dog how to sit. You don't just wanna say "Hey, here's a solution go to this guy's site and buy his product through my link."
