But the RWVA Appleseed Project is much more than a marksmanship organization and much more than a social organization. It is a direct link back to America's Founding Fathers and instruction about what the duties of a "Rifleman" are today in America. A Rifleman adapts, a Rifleman overcomes and a Rifleman persists. The events of April 19th, 1775 were not a spontaneous uprising of American farmers and shopkeepers who decided to begin a revolt out of the blue. This was something that had been cooking itself up for several years. This is the way all revolts start. This is the way all revolutions begin. Tonight we discus the spin up of the war after Bunker Hill and Dorchester Heights. What the colonists did after their first three heady vctories, after the British set sail for Halifax and before the reality of what war would mean set in.

Tonight we discuss the After Action Reports from the April 19th events and also discuss what happened in America immediatly after the events of April 19th, 1775.
That is what the papers could have read on April 19th, 1775. Because that is what happened. Colonial Militiamen began firing on British occupational troops who had already attacked Colonial forces at Lexington Green and at the North Bridge in Concord. We will discuss the events of April 19th, 1775 tonight and also the 100 simultaneous shoots The Appleseed Project will be running across the nation to honor the men and women who stood in ranks that day to safeguard and protect their rights and begin the events that would birth this nation.
236 years, 11 months and three weeks ago, thousands of men and women worked together standing in ranks under fire, gathering supplies, spreading the alarm, rounding up horses and equipment to assist the Colonial militias from the dozens of cities and towns surrounding Boston. We are only a week away from the April 21/22 Patriots' Day Shoots that are the Appleseed Project's signature weekend. We will have over one hundred events on that weekend all across the nation. Tonight we can discuss some of the final details for last minute preperations and promotions.
The road to open warfare in America was not a short one. We covered the beginning of the events that lead to the American Revolution last week. We continue exploring the lighting of the fuses that lead to The America Revolutionary War tonight with discussion on The Committee of Safety, Paul Revere and the British response to the Colonists .
We are coming up on the April 19th, the day the AMerican Revolutionary War began and the day our nation was birthed. With this, we are also coming up on the signature weekend shoots of The Appleseed Project which celebrate this day. We will be spending some time tonight talking about the events that led the Colonists into the American Revolutionary War.
The American Revolutionary War was had it's share of treason and treachery by spies and traaitors from both sides. Patriots and Loyalists both ran networks of spies and both sides had betrayals by soldiers in their service. Join me tonight as I discuss Spies and Treason in The American Revolutionary War.
