But the RWVA Appleseed Project is much more than a marksmanship organization and much more than a social organization. Making sure that once we are squared away, the folks to the left and right are informed about how they can help safeguard the freedoms and liberties that being an American affords us.

On tonights show I will br reading letters written by men a women from both sides of The American Revolutionary War. These letters provide a unique perspective on the events that occurred during the War for American Independence
"Graviora manent" - Which translates as "Greater dangers await". And they do. We had an episode a few weeks ago that was guest hosted by Jack Spirko from "The Survival Podcast" and we discussed how imperative it is that we live our lives in such a way that we arte constantly considering and preparing for the tough times that may or may not be coming. (They are) This show is a follow up on the idea of Appleseed folks being prepared for tough situations so that they can be the leaders who help their families and neighbors in tough times.
Non Semper Erit Aestas- "It will not always be summer". And it won't will it? Summer ends and then fall and then winter. And it comes faster than you think. this phrase was used to talk to folks about the fact that it will not always be summer, that the time to prepare for difficult times is right now. And I am not necessarily speaking about any kind of survival/prep in as far as your individual family surviving. I am talking about making sure the whole nation survives. Making sure that the preparing for winter analogy is being used to tell folks that the time to make sure you are doing enough to ensure the survival of your nation is not when you see the nation coming down around you, but when it is eay, or relatively so, right now. When you can actually affect the future of this nation and hopefully save it, not by arming yourself and fighting in the streets, but by making phone calls, sending emails, writing letters, going to an Appleseed and getting your friends, family, relatives, neighbors etc. to attend an event with you. By becoming an active part of the governing body of this nation.

Beth Schoenberg and "The Derry Brownfield Show" have always been wonderful supporters of The Appleseed Project while doing a great job of making sure Americans know about what is going on with American freedoms and liberty on their radio show. Derry Brownfield died last month and Beth is coming on tonight to talk about what a great American Derry Brownfield was, about what they have been doing on the radio show and the future of the show. Chris Knox from The Firearms Coalition is our guest tonight. Chris and his brother Jeff Knox run "The Firearms Coalition" in the tradition of their father Neal Knox. The Knox Family has been writing about, and active in, defending the rights of gun owners in America for almost fifty years. Chris has been a member of The Appleseed Project for several years now. He has been a supporter of Appleseed attending events and writing articles about Appleseed and has guested on the radio show several times in the last few years. It is always a pleasure to have him on the show and listen to him speak about defending America's gun owners rights.

Jack Spirko is the modern voice of survival/preparedness in America and he does an absolutely fantastic job of giving Americans information about "prepping". His daily one hour pod-casts are filled with information on living a lifestyle of preparedness, where in the course of each day you add another layer of preparation to your survival plan. Working toward building a comprehensive plan for preparedness for you and your family and community. Jack will not teach you how to tear up a pair of jeans and make a loincloth, but you will hear information on everything from home mortgage loans and paying down your credit bills to catching fish with flowers and drying and storing food(including how to make Biltong).
