Malo and welcome to Episode 60 of Breakfast Bites by TeivovoSports.com – a wrap of Pasifika peoples sports on this cloudy Monday morning 28 August 2022 - coming to you from the 180th meridian in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. In rugby – Fiji will play New Zealand for the LA7s title at 12.28pm after they beat Australia 10-29 in the LA7s semifinal and New Zealand beat Samoa 26-28. Australia wins the World Rugby HSBC 7s Series if they win the bronze medal game. Fiji has to win the LA7s to win the 2022 Series, if they lose then the Blitzboks eat the chocolates. In the LA7s Cup QFs earlier this morning, Australia 40-14 Kenya, Fiji 28-12 USA, Samoa 24-19 Argentina and New Zealand 29-14 Ireland. In rugby league – With one round to go in the season the Raiders and Broncos will fight it out for a spot in the Top 8. While the Panthers are the only team locked in to a spot and number one at that, the Sharks, Cowboys, Storm, Eels, Roosters and Rabbitohs need to win this weekend to finish as high on the ladder as possible. In football – England Captain, Harry Kane scored another brace for Tottenham 2-0 Nottingham Forest. Meanwhile in France, a story is breaking across French media about Police investigating a claim by Paul Pogba that his own brother, Mathias, is part of a €13Million blackmail attempt by an organised crime gang. A mint condition 1952 Mickey Mantle baseball card sold for US$12.6Million yesterday, blasting into the record books as the highest ever paid for sports memorabilia in a market that has grown exponentially in recent years. The rare Mickey Mantle card eclipsed the record just posted a few months ago — US$9.3M for the jersey worn by Diego Maradona when he scored the infamous "Hand of God" goal in the 1986 FIFA World Cup against England. Just last month, the heavyweight boxing belt reclaimed by Muhammad Ali in his 1974 "Rumble in the Jungle" against the now-infamous George Foreman sold for nearly US$6.2M. In boxing – Mad Irishman and former UFC superstar, Connor McGregor – remember him? Well he’s currently on a cruise with his fiancé Daphne Dee and they are anchored off the Spanish party island of Ibiza, where apparently McGregor has posted a video of himself having sex with . . uh Dee I guess, on the top deck of his super yacht! Ummm - I always wondered what super yachts are for? For TeivovoSports.com – I’m Culden Kamea, Mahalo, vina’a and thank you! In rugby – The Wallabies beat the Springboks 25-17 in Adelaide – what? Someone check that result please it can’t be true! Condolences  to All Blacks fans; the once-invincible era of the mighty men in black  is truly over, dead and buried amen. Last night, like Ireland a few  weeks ago, Los Pumas created history beating the All Blacks 18-25 in New  Zealand for the first time. Sam Cane was hopeless again. In rugby league – the  Sharks sent Club hero Andrew Fifita off with a 16-0 win over the  Bulldogs that kept alive hopes that he may not have played his last game  at PointsBet Stadium thanks to a top four berth. The win also gave the  Sharks the possibility of a home final in week one. Cowboys  Sheriff Todd Peyton accused the Rabbitohs of 'bending the rules' by  manipulating on-field checks of players, after the Bunnies clinched a  finals spot with a 20-10 win at Accor Stadium yesterday. The Cowboys  must beat Penrith next and hope the Sharks lose to finish second. Sydney  Roosters playmaker Raecene McGregor returned to haunt her former team  yesterday, helping the NRLW defending premiers to a 28-8 win over the  Broncos. In football – Liverpool  equaled the biggest win in EPL history smashing Bournemouth 9 nil as  Roberto Firmino and Luis Diaz both grabbed braces. The  Red Devils made it back-to-back victories in the Premier League on  Saturday afternoon with a 1-0 Southampton after Bruno Fernandes scored  the only goal of the game, moving Man U to sixth on the EPL ladder. Malo and welcome to Episode 58 of Breakfast Bites by TeivovoSports.com – a wrap of Pasifika peoples sports on this bright and sticky Saturday morning 27 August 2022 - coming to you from the 180th meridian in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. And we start with our world famous rugby tips tonight: South Africa to Beyonce the Wallabies in Adelaide, the All Blacks to Maddona Argentina in Christchurch and don’t forget the LA7s starts at 4.20am tomorrow morning with South Africa vs USA, All Blacks 7s vs Canada at 4.42am, Fiji vs Wales at 6.10am and Australia vs Japan at 7.04AM. In rugby league - The race for NRL Premiership glory is well and truly heating up with just two rounds of the regular season remaining. Penrith clinched the minor premiership title last week with their win over the Rabbitohs and were presented with the JJ Giltinan Shield by NRL CEO Andrew Abdo after they walloped the NZ Warriors last night. In boxing - George Foreman, one of the greatest Heavyweight boxers of his generation, has been accused of sexual abuse and rape in new court filings that date back to the height of his popularity in the 1970s. Two women behind the accusations put forth official filings this week in Los Angeles County Superior Court. A special law in California that went into effect in 2020, extends the statute of limitations so that victims of childhood sexual abuse, can file civil lawsuits decades later like in this case. In football – English Premier League football Clubs are splashing the cash BIG time in the current transfer window, according to a report by Deloitte. They have spent £1.5Billion already, more than in any previous transfer window, with a week still to go until the 1 September transfer deadline. The number of transfer deals has reached 135, on track to overtake last season’s record 148, with the number of signings costing £30Million or more already at 14 compared to eight last year. Liverpool’s £67M signing of Darwin Nunez and Manchester United’s purchase of Brazilian star, Casemiro from Real Madrid for £70M are the most expensive of the transfer window so far. Our world famous tips for the Women’s NRL Round 2 this weekend – the Sydney Roosters to bamboozle the Broncos at Suncorp Stadium, the Newcastle Knights to scooby dooby doo the Gold Coast Titans and the Saint Georgina Dragons to monkeypox the Eels! Malo and welcome to Episode 57 of Breakfast Bites by TeivovoSports.com – a wrap of Pasifika peoples sports on this bright and sunny Friday morning 26 August 2022 - coming to you from the 180th meridian in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. And we start with rugby – where there is one change to the All Blacks team for the Rugby Championship Test vs Argentina in Christchurch, from the team that won in Johannesburg, with Stephen Perofeta in line to make his Test debut as cover for Richie Mo’unga, because Beauden Barrett is out with a neck injury. Do you think Beauden is just faking it because he hates losing his All Blacks flyhalf spot to Richie playing at home in front of his family? Former Fiji Rugby 7s star Taniela Sadrugu will join the Cowboys Top 30 squad in 2023 for one-year as a Centre where he has enjoyed a standout season in the Queensland Cup for the Townsville Blackhawks, making 67 tackle breaks, 44 offloads and scoring six tries in just 14 games. Don’t know if you remember, a couple of years ago, Sadrugu was in a watertight and secure COVID-safe bubble with the Fiji 7s team in Queensland on their way to the Tokyo Olympics when some sneaky prick from the Cowboys stole in with chocolates and got Sadrugu to switch codes! You just can’t trust these Aussies! In football – the UEFA Champions League Pools were drawn in Istanbul this morning with Ajax, Liverpool and Napoli the BIG 3 teams in Pool A. Rangers from Scotland is there also but they will go out in the first round. Pool B doesn’t matter because there are no EPL Clubs in it. Same with Pool C except that they have Bayern Munich, FC Barcelona and Inter Milan so one of them will lose out. Pool D is a weak pool so Eintracht Frankfurt and Tottenham should make it through. Pool E has AC Milan, Chelsea and FC Salzburg while Pool F has defending champion Real Madrid and RB Leipzig with no hopers Celtic. Pool G has Man City, Sevilla and Borussia Dortmund and Pool H has the brats from PSG, Juventus and Benfica. And what about our world famous NRL tip for the Eels to Palm Corn beef the Broncos at Suncorp Stadium last night! What was that score again? Eels 53-6 Broncos OUCH. Our other world famous NRL tips this weekend - the Storm to Rubik’s cube the Roosters, the Raiders to Rolls Royce Manly and Souths to Cobra the Cowboys. Malo and welcome to Episode 56 of Breakfast Bites by TeivovoSports.com – a wrap of Pasifika peoples sports on this slightly cloudy Thursday morning 25 August 2022 - coming to you from the 180th meridian in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. And we start with rugby – the Fijian Drua Super Rugby franchise has a new CEO in former Western Force boss Mark Evans. The Chairman of FRU, Navy Commander Humphrey Tawake said confirming that Evans had been appointed after an exhaustive independent global search. We ask - did they look to appoint a local CEO? And while we’re on Fiji rugby – who is on the Board of the Fijian Drua representing the people of Fiji, who own 51% of the company, thanks to government paying F$6Million for it? We recall the majority shareholders are entitled to two seats on the Fijian Drua Board – or is it business as usual at Rugby House? Staying with rugby - former All Blacks halfback Tawera Kerr-Barlow, who was born in Melbourne, played 29 games for the All Blacks from 2012 to 2017, including in the RWC2015-winning team, wants to play for the Wallabies, five years after last wearing the black jersey against a France XV in 2017. Our world famous NRL tips: The Eels to Palm Corn beef the Broncos at Suncorp, the Panthers to Axion the NZ Warriors, the Storm to Rubik’s cube the Roosters in Vic. The Raiders to Rolls Royce Manly in Canberra, Sharks to BNZ the Bulldogs and Souths to Cobra the Cowboys in Sydney. In football - Real Madrid's US$916Million redevelopment of their iconic Santiago Bernabeu stadium could host a Los Blancos NBA team, NFL games plus ATP tennis tournaments. In boxing – reigning WBC World Heavyweight Champion Tyson Fury has issued an ultimatum to anyone interested in putting up the money for an undisputed championship fight with Ring, IBF, WBA and WBO World Champion Oleksandr Usyk: “I’m gonna give you all seven days – till the 1st of September, to come up with the money,” Fury posted on Twitter. “All offers submitted to my lawyer, Robert Davies, in writing and with proof of funds. If not, thank you very much, it’s been a blast, I’m retired.” Several parties and countries will be desperate to host the first undisputed heavyweight title fight of the century – maybe Fiji? Just kidding guys - let the games begin. For TeivovoSports.com – I’m Culden Kamea, Mahalo, vina’a and thank you! Malo and welcome to Episode 55 of Breakfast Bites by TeivovoSports.com – a wrap of Pasifika peoples sports on this cloudy and chilly 23 degrees Celsius Wednesday morning 24 August 2022 - coming to you from the 180th meridian in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. And we start with rugby – the USA7s hits Los Angeles this weekend where Fiji is in Pool C with Ireland, France and Wales. Pool B has New Zealand, South Africa, USA and Canada. Pool D has Samoa top seed, ahead of England, Scotland and Kenya while those awful Aussies head Pool A with Spain, Argentina and Japan. Go Samoa Go Fiji Go. In the NRL - Round 24 starts Thursday with the Broncos vs Eels at Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane and on Friday it’s the Panthers vs NZ Warriors at 6pm at BlueBet Stadium out west at Penrith and then the Storm take down the Sydney Roosters at AAMI Park in Melbourne. Saturday sees Ricky Stuart’s Raiders hosting Manly at 3pm at GIO Stadium in Canberra, followed by the Sharks vs Bulldogs at 5.30pm PointsBet and Souths vs the Cowboys at 7.35pm Accor Stadium in Sydney. We won’t worry about the Knights and the Titans – they’re hopeless like the Dragons! In football – Man U beat Liverpool 2-1 yesterday at Old Trafford, so incredibly the Reds have NOT had a win in their first three games of this new season! Ouch. Meanwhile the Man U Viking boss - Eric10 is chasing another Brazilian – Anthony who plays on the Wing for his old Club Ajax. In boxing - Ukrainian Cossack Warrior Oleksandr Usyk’s split points win over the soggy, sodden and wooden Anthony Joshua on Sunday in Saudi Arabia, is backed up by key punching stats for their fight, which shows Usyk threw a total of 712 punches – landing 170 at 24% accuracy to Joshua’s 492 punches thrown for 124 landed at 25%. Despite being marginally pipped in accuracy – Usyk’s sustained output and aggression tipped the fight in his favour, especially through the championship rounds 10 through 12 – the crucial closing stage of the fight, where Usyk landed an incredible 79 punches on Joshua, over the final three rounds, compared to just 29 by the Brit. BOOM fight over! In tennis – turns out the young lady accused by Nick Kyrgios of having ‘about 700 drinks’ during this year’s Wimbledon final is a lawyer, and oilei so she’s taking legal action against the controversial Australian tennis star for defamation. The lady – Anna Palus claims she only had two drinks – a Pimms and a glass of wine and she was calling out to Kyrgios to support him. Yeah right - right when he’s in the middle of his serve! Sounds like a set up to me! For TeivovoSports.com – I’m Culden Kamea, Mahalo, vina’a and thank you! Malo and welcome to Episode 54 of Breakfast Bites by TeivovoSports.com – a wrap of Pasifika peoples sports on this slightly overcast Tuesday morning 23 August 2022 - coming to you from the 180th meridian in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. And we start with rugby – Fiji 7s 14-Man Squad for the LA7s and for the RWC7s in South Africa: S Mocenacagi, Elia Canakaivata, Joseva Talacolo, Iosefo Masi, Jerry Matana, J Vakurinabili, Filipo Bukayaro, W Nacuqu, Filipe Sauturaga, Kaminieli Rasaku, Manueli Maisamoa, V Naduvalo, Iowane Teba and Jerry Tuwai. In boxing – “If you want those belts back then send in the Gypsy barbarian. Send me in and I will relieve the Ukrainian dosser of his belts like I did the last Ukrainian dosser, so said Tyson Fury shortly after Usyk beat Joshua. And for good measure he added, “But it's not going to be cheap, if you want the best you have to pay. It's going to be very expensive; so get your cheque book out and I will relieve the Ukrainian dosser of the belts." You gotta hand it to Tyson Fury – he is in the perfect storm with reports out already that the Saudi’s want this fight to happen at all costs the day before the FIFA World Cup final in neighbouring Qatar – 17 December this year. In the NRL - the average winning margin for round 23 was 32.3 points, making it the most lopsided weekend in NRL history. The 466 points scored by all 16 teams was also the most in one round of NRL action. Statistically though, the average margin for the year to date is 16 points, two points lower than last year and close to the 15.1 of 2020. In football – Ellen White, England women's football all-time leading goal scorer has retired. The 33-year-old Manchester City and England striker said, “This is my time to say goodbye to football and watch the next generation shine.” White scored 52 goals in 113 games for England. In the NBA – Michael Jordan’s jersey worn against the Utah Jazz in Game 1 of the 1998 NBA Finals is up for auction at Sotheby's with bidding between 8-14 September and is expected to sell for up to US$5Million. Malo and welcome to Episode 53 of Breakfast Bites by TeivovoSports.com – a wrap of Pasifika peoples sports on this bright and sunny Monday morning 22 August 2022 - coming to you from the 180th meridian in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. And we start with rugby – seen driving around Suva lately in his brand new iconic Ford Mustang - still with its yellow British licence plates on. Keep an eye out for the sleek black machine in your hood, driven by none other than rugby superstar, Semi Radradra! Go Semi go. In boxing - Anthony Joshua has woken up with a sore head and apologised for his embarrassing meltdown after his second consecutive loss to Ukrainian Cossack warrior, Oleksandr Usyk, in which the Brit delivered an expletive-filled, four-minute rant and appeared to throw two of the world title belts out of the ring yelling at Usyk: “Skills win boxing, you’re not strong, how did you beat me? How?” What a dickhead. In UFC - Aussie challenger, Leon Edwards shook the world at UFC278 yesterday with a thundering head kick, sending the most dominant UFC champion, Kamaru Usman crashing to the ground and UFC Prez Dana White into a spin. With it, Edwards claimed a win for the ages and became the new UFC Welterweight Champion. Results from the NRLW Round 1: the Sydney Roosters skinned the Parramatta Eels 16-38, Saint George Dragons smelted the Gold Coast Titans 12-26 and the Newcastle Knights smashed the Broncos 14-32. In football - Quickfire goals by Erling Haaland and Bernardo Silva helped Man City recover from two goals down to draw 3-3 with Newcastle United at St James' Park. Meanwhile Leeds United absolutely curried Chelsea 3 nil. In the USA - Basketball Hall of Famer and NBA superstar, Dennis Rodman announced Saturday that he plans to travel to Russia next week to rescue Brittney Griner. WNBA star Griner, 31, was sentenced to nine years in a Russian penal colony earlier this month after her arrest at a Moscow airport in February for possessing hashish oil in her luggage. All Rodman needs now is a visa from Moscow. For TeivovoSports.com – I’m Culden Kamea, Mahalo, vina’a and thank you! Malo  and welcome to Episode 52 of Breakfast Bites by TeivovoSports.com – a  wrap of Pasifika peoples sports on this beautiful Sunday morning 21  August 2022 - coming to you from the 180th meridian in the middle of the  Pacific Ocean. And we start with rugby – the  Black Ferns thrashed the Australian Wallaroos and reinforced  their Rugby World Cup credentials with a resounding 52-5 win in  Christchurch yesterday. The Black Ferns were too strong in the scrum and  devastating with ball in hand, playing at a pace the Wallaroos could  not handle to score eight tries to one for the Wallaroos' heaviest loss  in five years. There  were some ridiculous scores in the NRL Round 23 over the past two days -  after Penrith won a thrilling Thursday night encounter 26-22 Rabbitohs,  the next five games were won by an average of 45.6 points, with the  Roosters posting a 72-6 win over Wests Tigers, to go with big wins for  the Eels 42-6 Bulldogs, Sharks 40-6 Manly, the Cowboys 48-4 NZ Warriors  and the Storm 60-12 Broncos on Friday night. In boxing – According  to talkSPORT, the base pay for the JOSHUA-USYK II rematch will be a  split with Joshua set to earn US$75Million - plus sponsorship and bonus  money which could rise to US$119M. Usyk will also earn the same US$75M  from the clash. In football – Harry  Kane created EPL history as the highest-scoring player for one Club  when the England Captain headed home his 185th EPL goal for Tottenham  1-0 Wolves yesterday. It was also his 250th goal in all competitions for  Spurs, chasing down Jimmy Greaves record of 266. In  NBA offseason news – NBA superstar Steph Curry is on holiday in Fiji at  the moment. The legendary 3-point shooter is holidaying on the  exclusive Wakaya Island with his wife and brother and sister and their  partners. I must get game on! Malo and welcome to Episode 51 of Breakfast Bites by TeivovoSports.com – a wrap of Pasifika peoples sports on this beautiful Saturday morning 20 August 2022 - coming to you from the 180th meridian in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. And we start with rugby – the Wallabies defence Coach Matt Taylor has resigned, or was he pushed, after their 48 points pasting by Los Pumas in San Juan, Argentina last week. The change caught many Aussies by surprise as they didn’t know the Wallabies even had a defence coach since Eddie Jones left. Meanwhile the Springboks trip to Australia got off on the wrong foot after their flight yesterday was cancelled. Meanwhile Los Pumas are reportedly making their trip to New Zealand by boat to give Head Coach Ian Fuzzy Foster time to settle back into his old job!!! In the NRL overnight - PNG Kumuls star Centre, Justin Olam scored a double as the Stormers ran in 10 tries at Suncorp last night to smash the Broncos 60-12. Harry Grant also scored in one of the best games of his career, while Jahrome Hughes, Cameron Munster and Nelson Asofa-Solomona were all massive. The Cowboys demolished the NZ Warriors with brilliant attacking football where eight Cowboys crossed for tries in a 48-4 win in Townsville - their highest score since the 2015 premiership year - fitting also, in their first home game since the death of former Coach Paul Green. In boxing - Anthony Joshua will have a 10.5Kg weight advantage when he takes on Oleksandr Usyk tomorrow. Usyk was tipped to be heavier, but the Ukrainian weighed 100.2kg, exactly the same as for the first fight, while Joshua weighed in at 110.7kg, up on the 108.9kg he scaled in London. In football – the trial of former Manchester United superstar and Britain’s most decorated footballer, Ryan Giggs continues at the Manchester Crown Court hearing a poem that Giggs wrote for his ex-girlfriend Kate Greville on New Year’s Eve in 2017 - the poem is based on the letters of her last name Greville: “G for gorgeous, R for radiant, E for extraordinary, V for vivacious, I for idolised by me, L for legs. L for legs, E for everything I've ever wanted.” And she replied: “Baby what an amazing message to wake up to. I think you’re amazing. I want to reiterate how amazing you are and how happy and amazing you make me feel…” to which Giggs replied: “I think you’re fandabidozy”. Oh so romantic! Ryan Giggs is on trial faced with charges of assaulting his former girlfriend Kate Greville and her sister Emma, as well as charges of controlling and coercive behaviour against Greville; which he denies. And we start with rugby – After  the New Zealand Rugby Football Union confirmed his appointment through  to the 2023 RWC in France, Ian Fuzzy Foster fired a warning shot to some  of the older All Blacks like Dane Coles - saying, “We’ve got some younger players who’ve put their hand up and there might be a few more coming in.” In  the NRL - ARLC Chairman Peter V’landys has confirmed Sydney’s Accor  Stadium is the venue for the NRL Grand Final 2022 and not beyond, so the  future of the event remains undecided. V’landys said that they may look  to a NFL Super Bowl arrangement where the final venue moves every year. And the Penrith Panthers won the NRL Minor Premiership 2022 after they pipped Souths at the post last night. In  football - About 2.5 million tickets were bought in the first phase of  sales that closed this week for the FIFA World Cup 2022. The cheapest  tickets for fans from outside Qatar cost US$69. Fans need a confirmed  ticket to book accommodation in Qatar through an official tournament  website. Brazil's  games in the FIFA World Cup in Qatar are among the most in-demand  ticket sales. The top 10 ranked by ticket sales to their fans include  Qatar, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, United States of America,  England, Mexico, France, Argentina, Brazil and Germany. And  in boxing - With just 48 hours to go before British boxer, Anthony  Joshua goes into his rematch against Ukrainian World Heavyweight  Champion, Oleksandr Usyk in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia with a four-inch reach  advantage plus height and weight superiority, we tip Usyk to win by way  of knockout. Malo  and welcome to Episode 49 of Breakfast Bites by TeivovoSports.com – a  wrap of Pasifika peoples sports on this beautiful Thursday morning 18  August 2022 - coming to you from the 180th meridian in the middle of the  Pacific Ocean. And we start with rugby – Ellia  Green has snatched the headlines from Fuzzy Foster – Green one of the  stars of Australia's gold medal-winning Women's rugby 7s team at the  2016 Rio Olympics has transitioned to male. Green  was adopted as a child from Galoa outside Suva and taken to Australia  when she was three years old, has kept the same name and told Australian  media it was the best decision of his life. Go Green Go! Scott  Robertson's hopes of coaching the All Blacks unraveled in the early  hours of last Sunday morning when the All Blacks stunned the Springboks  35-23 at Ellis Park in Johannesburg, now Ian Foster has been retained as  All Blacks coach through to the 2023 Rugby World Cup in France. So that settles that then – the All Blacks to with the next RWC - non? In  football – the world’s richest man, Elon Musk is at the centre of  another acquisitions controversy after he tweeted that he was  buying Manchester United - before announcing several hours later that he  was just joking. In  the NFL - According to WBRC in Birmingham, Alabama, Tua Tagovailoa is  married. Under a marriage license issued by the Broward County, Florida  Clerk’s office, Tagovailoa married Annah Gore on 18 July 2022. The former Alabama and current Miami Dolphins star Quarterback has not yet confirmed the news. For TeivovoSports.com – I’m Culden Kamea, Mahalo, vina’a and thank you! Malo  and welcome to Episode 48 of Breakfast Bites by TeivovoSports.com – a  wrap of Pasifika peoples sports on this beautiful sunny Wednesday  morning 17 August 2022 - coming to you from the 180th meridian in the  middle of the Pacific Ocean. And we start with rugby – Mystery  surrounds the Fiji Rugby Union scandal with three staff sacked and CEO  John O’Connor voluntarily going home on annual leave while an  investigation is carried out into “governance issues”. It seems like a huge overreaction and someone outside Rugby House pulling the strings behind the scenes for whatever reason. So, business as usual at Fiji Rugby Union. Former  New Zealand Black Ferns 7s star, Gayle Broughton is the new fullback at  Parramatta Eels, replacing the injured Botille Vette-Welsh, and will  make her NRL Women’s competition debut in Round 1 on Saturday 1pm  against the Sydney Roosters at CommBank Stadium in Sydney. Other  games in the NRLW competition this weekend Round 1: St George Dragons v  Gold Coast Titans on Sunday 12pm at WIN Stadium and the Newcastle  Knights v Brisbane Broncos on Sunday 6.10pm at McDonald Jones Stadium. Go girls go! In boxing – “We’re gonna knock him out” - you just gotta laugh! That’s Anthony Joshua at his open training session in Saudi Arabia before JOSHUA-USYK II in the early hours of Sunday morning. We  just find it so unconvincing – surely Joshua should be saying “I” will  knock him out – he can’t take his trainer and sparring partners into the  ring to knock our Usyk. Sorry AJ but we’re tipping Usyk to win and by knockout! For TeivovoSports.com – I’m Culden Kamea, Mahalo, vina’a and thank you! Malo  and welcome to Episode 47 of Breakfast Bites by TeivovoSports.com – a  wrap of Pasifika peoples sports on this beautiful Tuesday morning 16  August 2022 - coming to you from the 180th meridian in the middle of the  Pacific Ocean. And we start with rugby – Two  players who really stood out for the All Blacks forwards smashing the  Springboks and dominating the Test in the cauldron of Ellis Park –  Tongan warriors Samisoni Taukei’aho and Shannon Frizzel; both relished  the ball carries and smashing the Boks in tackles. Simply the best! Japan  women and Uruguay men won the World Rugby 7s Challenger Series 2022 and  so will feature at Rugby World Cup 7s 2022 in Cape Town on 9-11  September and the HSBC 7s Series which kicks off in Dubai on 4-6  November for men while the women start in Dubai on 2-3 December 2022. BREAKING  NEWS in the NRL for all the wrong reasons again - Hair follicle testing  for drugs use is set to become a hot topic for the NRL after Newcastle  were forced to investigate video footage of their skipper Kalyn Ponga  emerging from a toilet cubicle with a teammate over the weekend. The  fact that Newcastle Knights skipper Kalyn Ponga was out drinking while  recovering from a serious concussion has led to calls for the superstar  No. 1 to be stripped of the captaincy. In  boxing – the JOSHUA-USYK II fight will be on in the early hours of  Sunday morning in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, 12.30am to be exact, so that  fans in the UK can watch the fight at 10.30pm British time and at 5.30pm on America's east coast and 2.30pm out west at US$20 a pop on DAZN. Pay-per-view in Britain is 27 pounds. In  netball - Eleven-time world champions Australia and defending champions  New Zealand remain first and second respectively while England have  dropped from third to fourth in the World Netball rankings after the  Commonwealth Games in Birmingham. Jamaica move up to third after taking silver at the Games. While  Tonga and Fiji secured places in the Netball World Cup in South Africa  in 2023 through the Oceania Netball World Cup Qualifiers, with a further  eight teams set to join them through qualifiers in Africa, Asia, Europe  and the Americas. In  football - word from inside Old Trafford is that the Manchester United  squad have now suffered so many humiliations in full media glare that  they’re a broken squad. One theory yet to be professionally diagnosed is  that they are suffering a form of “football PTSD” (post-traumatic  stress disorder). While  we’re on Man U, the trial of Britain’s most decorated football player –  the absolute nutter, Ryan Giggs has heard evidence from the sister of  his ex-girlfriend that she was “left in shock” after the former Manchester United star allegedly assaulted her before, she claims, threatened her saying "I'll head butt you next." Ryan Giggs alledgedly said this while lying on top her sister, er his girlfriend, in a fight for her mobile phone! For TeivovoSports.com – I’m Culden Kamea, Mahalo, vina’a and thank you! Malo  and welcome to Episode 46 of Breakfast Bites by TeivovoSports.com – a  wrap of Pasifika peoples sports on this beautiful bright and sunny  Monday morning 15 August 2022 - coming to you from the 180th meridian in  the middle of the Pacific Ocean. And  we start with rugby – where after our world famous prediction of an All  Blacks win against all odds at Ellis Park last Saturday; we predict  today that The New Zealand Rugby Football Union will not sack Head Coach  Ian Fuzzy Foster. Yes  that’s right, they will not sack Fuzzy, BUT they will engineer a  changing of the guard with Sam Cane dropped as Captain, replaced by  Ardie Savea. Our  final tribute to recently passed NRL Coach, Paul Green, comes from  Wayne Bennett - “He was born into rugby league. He played it. He coached  it. He loved it and he was a great ambassador for our game. He had a  lot of friends in the game. I was thinking about the amount of people  that would be affected by what has happened.” Wayne  Bennett was on the losing side of Paul Green’s greatest achievement -  the 2015 NRL Grand Final win that gave the Cowboys their maiden NRL  Premiership title. “I can’t say that I was pleased for him at the time,  but I can say I am pleased for him today,” Bennett said. RIP Greenie. Last  night at UFC San Diego, we had a changing of the guard as surging  contender, Marlon Vera from Ecuador, knocked out former two-time  Bantamweight Champion, Dominick Cruz in the 4th round with a kick, which  also broke Cruz’s nose for which Vera earned US$300,000 and Cruz  scooped US$175,000. Staying  with boxing - Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel and Tottenham’s ex-Chelsea  boss, Antonio Conte had a ugly confrontation at the final whistle of  their two all drawn game in London yesterday with Tuchel shown the red  card. Still in boxing – French Striker, Kylian Mbappe and Brazilian superstar, Neymar had a spat in the changing room after Mbappe missed a penalty and Neymar scored a penalty after refusing to give Mbappe the ball in PSG’s 5-2 win over Montpellier in their opening home game of the new season. Yeah  apparently Mbappe and Neymar had a nasty altercation in the changing  room, throwing their undies at each other and bashing each other with  their Man Bags, handbags, backpacks of whatever! So violent! For TeivovoSports.com – I’m Culden Kamea, Mahalo, vina’a and thank you!
