living the dream with editor, writer, and social media expert Caitlin Reddington | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 1346

I’m an editor and writer based in New York City. I’m very knowledgeable about social media and I freelance, blog, and create content on the side.I’ve always enjoyed writing, but never thought of it as a career path until college. After taking a journalism class in college, I realized this was something I could turn into a career and decided to pursue it from there.I gained experience through internships and found that I loved the social media side too. I started at ATH as a Junior Digital Editor where I was able to combine both passions and I’ve worked my way up since.

living the dream with the host of the qualified podcast Hassan Hilliard | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 1925

Hassan (the show creator) has a genuine interest in conversation and an extensive list of experiences in many areas. Born and raised in Houston, Tx., he was given the support to be vocal and creative at an early age. A lifelong student of martial arts and influenced by an assortment of popular television shows during his childhood, Hassan would dream about one day being able to see/experience the things he saw, though not having the means to do so. Along with being pushed in physical activities, the family pushed for education and creativity. Never changing his view on wanting to learn more and do more has taken him to places and events that have contributed to a unique melting pot of knowledge. Some examples are starting multiple business ventures, winning an entrepreneurial award (30 Under 30), a host of juried art-shows, having artwork published in nationally distributed books, self-funding a major print publication, trendsetting in web-marketing, living abroad on 2 continents, certified personal trainer and fitness coach, and a host of fitness challenges/activities.“I love information. I love asking why and how. It’s just the way my brain ticks. I’ve always enjoyed learning, speaking to interesting people, comparing ideas, having some laughs and making good memories. Life as we know it is drastically different now, but it doesn’t mean that our lifestyle has to cease to exist. I decided to take the leap and create a platform to continue the organic nature of connecting, conversing, and learning; this time in the digital space. The intent of Qualified is to share information, motivate, alert, and entertain overall. It's my hope that you all will enjoy these discussions as much as I have hosting them.” Check out the qualified podcast at

living the dream with realtor, philanthropist and life-time baseball fan Jordan Skopp | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 1417

Jordan Skopp is a realtor, philanthropist and life-time baseball fan from Brooklyn, New York. Jordan is leading the fight to enact legislation to eliminate the Baseball Rule, adopted decades ago by courts and a handful of state legislatures, which holds that fans injured by high-speed foul balls cannot receive compensation in court, no matter how badly they are hurt, so long as the home team has taken minimal steps to protect spectators. Jordan is theFounder of www.foulballsafetynow.comdedicated to increasing fan awareness of the dangers of foul ball injuries. Conservative estimates are that 5,000 fans have been injured, many seriously, by foul balls in Major and Minor league ballparks since 2012. Erwin Goldbloom, whose wife was killed by a foul ball at a Los Angeles Dodgers game in 2018, and others have joined Jordan in advocating for proper netting throughout MLB and the minor leagues. Jordan's efforts have received national news coverage in theLos Angeles Times, Boston Globe, ESPN, People,as well as international press in Korea and Japan. He is the author of a forthcoming book about foul ball fan safety. He has interviewed and advocated for victims and families affected by foul ball injuries. He is dedicated to alerting fans and families with small children in an effort to create an "epiphany of awareness and outrage" about the dangers of attending ball games, and exposing MLB's complicity in hiding the risk of life-altering injuries, which Skopp compares to Big Tobacco’s deception efforts.

living the dream with functional medicine doctor Kylie Burton | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 3889

Kylie Burton is a functional medicine doctor specializing in turning "normal" labs into answers, healing, and hope. With so many individuals getting tossed from doctor to doctor and specialist to specialist, she vowed to be different. Doctor Burton said she would not chalk up someone's health to "it's because you're a mom" or "take this anti-depressant and you'll feel better." But to get different results, she had to think and train herself differently. For her, answers were found in functional medicine so she dove head first. Functional medicine teaches the WHY behind health concerns and then gets rid of them. However, doctor Burton takes it a step farther. Blood work. Everyone has it. Yet, very rarely does the blood work provide "answers," aka a diagnosis. Instead, struggling individuals are told their labs are "normal" and to come back in 6 months. "Maybe it'll go away." As she is often caught saying, "Your labs may be 'normal' but they're not ideal." She views them in a different way - a way that allows her to provide answers, healing, and hope with or without a diagnosis. This goes way beyond nutrition and elimination diets. This goes way beyond gut health. This is healing beyond the diagnosis. Check out Doctort Burtons website at www.drkylieburton.comTopics I Can Discuss:
