Summary: Having run a successful Exercise Physiology clinic for over 12 years, I have seen countless fads and trends come along in this time. After a call from my mother in 2015 pleading to help my sister, her health and her bulging waistline, I set out to find a method that would finally see her take control of her health and weight. The last 3-4 years has been a journey into the world of Fasting and Fat Loss which has not only seen my sister finally see progress, but also allowed me to come across a number of amazing people and life changing stories. I want this podcast to be a place where I can share what I have learnt over this time as a way to help introduce you into fasting and see you take control of your Health, Happiness and Weight. I will also aim to have a number of guests on this show, both professionals and people who have lost weight and changed their life through Fasting as a way to expand the conversation and learn from the best in the industry and ordinary people who have found great success through the Fasting Life. It was just over 4 years ago that I started my YouTube Series, "7 Diets in 7 Weeks" and little did I know back then that it would be the catalyst to a change in me that would change my life forever. Through that series I came across the world of fasting and the idea that maybe breakfast wasn't the most important meal of the day just as we had ALL been told it was sicne we were kids. This one idea helped my sister, my mother and many of my clients in my Exercise Physiology Clinic lose weight, feel amazing and take back control of their eating habits to see them happier and healthier than they had been in years. I then went on to write an Amazon best selling book called Start Late, Stay Light, start up an Instagram page, website and YouTube Channel with the title of "The No Breakfast Guy" and finally a podcast show (this one you are listening to right now) that would allow me to post, talk and video about the idea of Fasting, Fat Loss, Fitness and Food. After YEARS of putting out content, for free, EVERY SINGLE DAY and helping thousands of people around the world improve their health, improve their relationship with themselves and the food they eat as well as see the idea of skipping the morning meal lose it's taboo nature, I was then approached by Amazon to come and share that story with their AWS office in Melbourne. I truly had to pinch myself as I stood in the reception waiting area, with that ICONIC Amazon logo behind me as I waited to be introduced to the staff of Amazon employees that would come to listen to my talk that day. I had an initial consultation with a new client over the weekend and during our time together we spoke about a number of reasons to why her fat loss may have slowed down and stopped.
