Carl Jung's study around the different archetypes, or stages we go through growing up, is well worth digging down on. Today I just throw down a bit on the Athlete Archetype and how the damage we incur through this phase of life is something that can cause isses right through life if we don't address it. I also give you some thoughts on how to do that. I am by no means an expert in this field but it is an area I have spent quite some time working on myself because I recognised in my 30's that it was the cause behind many of my self-sabotaging habits. I trust you find some value here yourself. To say Connie Boglis has traveled a tough past in the past few years would be the understatement of the year for this podcast. But far from letting life knock her down and keep her there Connie has risen with a passion and purpose to make meaningful change that will go a long way to assisting our veteran community including the family and friends of those serving or who have served. Connie is passionate, intelligent and determined. I really enjoyed our chat and I think you will too. See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.
Often when people tell me they can't find their inspiration or they don't know what their inspiration is I find their just not looking in the right places, asking the right questions or hanging out with the kind of people. With that in mind, here are a few ideas that might just help. What do you think number one would be? See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.
Today I'm sharing a question framework that will literally walk you through all the ways in which you can delve into an important decision and then make the decision. So often people get stuck when it comes to making a decision. I felt this would be helpful for those wanting to gain an edge and build their muscles around decision making. This week I sat down with a great friend and someone that has completed every design for Alyssa, myself and all of our different business, programs and phases for well over a decade - he is Dan Borg the own and founder of Psyborg. Dan came up to Brisbane to do some design work for our gym at Project 180 HQ and I thought it would make sense to sit and chat around business, our friendship and how we've seen each other progress over the years and of course some great design tips along the way. I hope you enjoy this chat as I pull back the curtain to one of our true inner circle members. This week I was fortunate to sit down with Dan Cooper who specialises in human performance but not just in theory, Dan spent 22 years in the Army with 18 of those in Australia's most elite forces - the SASR. We had a great chat around finding the edge of your potential, human performance, mindset and how his military experience is now working to help others perform in sports, business and life.
