Amazon kindly decided to start charging sales tax in the sate of Idaho.  No law requiring them to do this, they just decided out of the goodness of their heart after a discussion with the government in bed, that they would start charging sales tax.  It is like they are kindly doing all the dirty work for the thugs.  Of course small businesses in Idaho rejoice, but why not eliminate the sales tax instead of manipulate others to participate in theft?

Jason Riley, senior fellow at the Manhattan Institute and author of Please Stop Helping Us, joins us to discuss how liberals make it harder for blacks to succeed.  In CrossPolitic news we also discuss Neil Gorsuch’s confirmation hearing and why Christians might be more political cowards than shrewd cultural warriors. Author Andrew Klavan joins us to discuss how God transformed his life from an agnostic Jewish-intellectual to baptized Christian. We tackle his autobiography The Good Great Thing, which tells how his troubled childhood caused him to live inside the stories in his head and grow up to become an alienated young writer whose disconnection and rage devolved into depression and suicidal breakdown.  God works in troubles, and all these troubles pushed Klavan closer to finding Christ.
