#32-BasicIntervalWorkout1- all levels | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: Unknown

My first basic interval workout for intermediate exercisers is here. Just under 40-minutes total featuring basic instructions for each song, this is a practical tool to help you get some cardio HIIT with a little extra motivation. The workout has general guidelines and is geared for someone who is already training and has done both intervals, resistance work and body weight training. If you're a beginner, you can still use it, but pace yourself and build up to the higher ranges during the HIIT songs. If you're advanced, you can also use it. Add intensity to parts or the entire workout via pace, resistance, incline and/or speed.

From the mid-90's,  sports medicine and fitness pro's have been trying to debunk this myth, or at the very least, clear up this often misunderstood training concept. There is a way to use lower level intensity in your fat burning efforts, but it's only one aspect in becoming successful fat-burning machines and it will not automatically "melt" fat off your body despite being your body's source of fuel. Find out why!

#19-The Overlooked Training Component: Recovery | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: Unknown

Short and long term recovery periods are an essential aspect in balanced, safe and effective training programs. Do you schedule annual "rest" periods or pay much attention to your recovery process? Not only do you get stronger during the rest cycles, you also allow your immune system and energy stores to replenish. The harder you train, the more critical it is that you allow your body to recuperate. Injuries, fatigue, boredom and even overtraining syndrome can result from improper recovery. Even fat loss will be enhanced if your body gets adequate rest. Don't be one of the many who overlook this key component in the overcompensation process.
