It was an action packed weekend of Gaelic Sports across Europe last Saturday as we had the 3rd Round of the European Hurling & Camogie Championships take place at Luxembourg, while in the west of France at Niort we saw the culmination of this year’s France Gaelic Football Championship. One of the premier events in the 2012 Asia GAA calendar the All China GAA Games, took place in Beijing last Saturday and it turned out to be a very successful tournament. Clubs and teams from all across China, and for the first time from South Korea, took part in both mens and ladies Gaelic football competitions with many Chinese and international players in the thick of the action. Beijing GAA Chairman Colin Dixon takes us through the action and results of this 10th All China Games. 16:58

Three very exciting games was the order for this year’s Carpenter Cup Finals at Gaelic Park Willawong, Brisbane on Friday with football the winner on the night. The men’s final went to Overtime, the ladies decider was another see-saw affair, while the division 2 men’s final was also a very close match. Here to take us through Friday’s action is Queensland and Australasian GAA President Seamus Sullivan.

It’s turning out to be a very competitive Ladies Gaelic Football League in Vancouver this year with things very tight in the standings especially at Junior level. Last Thursday evening at Stanley Park in Vancouver we had senior and junior games featuring the Celts and JP Ryan’s and here to fill us in on how things went is former Western Canadian GAA Chairman, Ronan Deane. The final of the French Football Championship takes place today June 9 in the west of France in Niort at the Espinassou Stadium. Six teams from Liffre, Nantes, Paris, Lyon, Clermont and the islands of Jersey, and last year’s champions Guernsey, will all be looking for honours. The top two teams will go through to the European Football Championships in September. Here to talk about the teams chances is Nantes GFC player and official, Dimitri Martin.
