We start off episode 315 by talking about our upcoming "k&k get cultured" adventure at Sainte-Chapelle, and what we're planning for our next excursion (anyone up for a Sewer tour?), then we get distracted by discussions about teledaters, nicknames and last weeks episodes with Stephen Clarke, then we get ranty about socks, apartment living and noisy neighbours.

We've still got Stephen Clarke in the studio for episode 314, and he continues to regale us with tales from his upcoming book, 1000 Years of Annoying the French - including dubious battle strategies, the taking of Calais, the truth behind Napoleon's height and Joan of Arc's demise, how Louisiana got sold and the secrets behind Sarkozy's recent visit to England. We then discuss why the French are so proud of their language, the evolution of written French in letters, emails and text messages and the immortels behind deciding what's French and what's not.

We're thrilled to welcome Stephen Clarke (author of A Year in the Merde, Talk to the Snail and many more books) in the k&k boudoir for episode 313. We chat about how he found himself in France, why he moved here, which deviates into a discussion of French efficiency and socialising with colleagues. We find out how long he's been in France and why he's stayed, then we talk about A Year in the Merde and other Paul West books and whether or not there is any truth in them, then Stephen tells us all about his next book, 1000 Years of Annoying the French, to be released in March (but available for preorder now!).

In episode 312 we start off by discussing Symphony shenanigans, then Kylie gives us a Lost update and we get heated about ads on tv and going to the pharmacy and doctor in France. Katia talks about something that happened to her on the métro, which leads us to discuss more public transport experiences, and then Katia reveals her secret to getting on the bus first. Kylie then tells us about her most recent Disney visit and her job-hunt.

We start off episode 311 by opening a present from a fantastic listener, then Kylie makes an announcement and Katia gives an update on her arm, and we chat about Mario Bros, billboards, movie-watching, rhum-rhums and emails written in capital letters.

In episode 310 we talk extensively about television shows (Lost, the Office, How I Met Your Mother, Glee), Katia asks a few burning questions about Glee clubs and cheerleader uniforms, then we talk about the French tv show "Un dîner presque parfait" and whether gastroenteritis really exists.

In episode 309 we get mighty chatty about a number of interesting things, including the galette des rois tradition and Christmas presents. We update you all on what's happening with k&k tourist tips & learn french, then get to talking about seasonal confusion and season-centric-ness and unusual public transport experiences.

After Katia sings out of key (I swear I normally sing better that that), we dedicate episode 308 to The Justin, discussing technical difficulties, further holiday round-ups, sky tv, movies, gîte database, new years eve and oyster opening. Kylie then tells us about catching up with Variri (movie update, wandering around the Champs Elysées, finally going to the Grand Palais), we spend quite some time chatting about snow and how we met up with another listener, Lise from Scotland.

In episode 307 we are overwhelmed with listener love as we unwrap about a billion presents and cards, and we discuss such things as soup, the babysitters club books, zombies, American goodies, riding in tiny aeroplanes, undertakers and car games!

We're still coasting through the cognac region in episode 306 - you'll hear about our visit to the Bonnin cognac distillery and what else we learned about the art of making cognac and pineau, what we bought at the market in Saint-Jean d'Angely, what we did at Futuroscope, and what we thought of La Rochelle (including the old town, the Aquarium and the road signs).

We're full of cognac-y cheer in episode 305 as we chat about our adventures over the New Year period - you'll learn how to choose where to go on holiday and how to pick a gîte, how we learned to take our own advice, what we thought of the Hennessy distillery in Cognac, how much we found out about the history of this delicious beverage, and what we learned when visiting Les Moines Frêres (including the importance of spiders, some cognac-making secrets and exactly how pineau is made).

We're still excited about the holiday season in episode 304, and get to chatting about how Christmas is celebrated in different countries, eating coal, tags on Christmas presents and visiting (or not) private castles.

We're in the country for episode 303, as we talk about what we've done for Christmas, and get tremendously excited about what we've eaten (foie gras, chapon and bûche, just to name a few) and what we've drank (including red wine from Bordeaux, pink Champagne, cognac and old man's jam).

We're in the holiday mode in episode 302, and we get to talking about Christmas - the price of trees, decorations, Christmas windows in the department stores, Christmas markets and ferris wheels and our plans for the holidays. We then chat about cannelé and world monopoly, then Kylie tells us about her French movie discovery of the week (être et avoir).

In episode 301 we get to talking about how much fun we had in the previous episode, the power of twitter, postcards, the joy of raclette and riesling, the excitement of episode 333, strikes and train dramas, snow and carbon footprints.
