Today we will be joined by guests William Jackson and Sean Jackson, father and son who will be discussing Minorities and Social Networks. News of the Day includes Black Teens, Suicide Risks Rise and Hate Crime attacks on Black Teens in California.

As you might know already, Tax Day "Tea Parties" were held across the country today. Allegedly it was supposed to be a "grassroots" movement organized by people concerned about "higher taxes", "big government", "liberty", "freedom" and all that jazz. One Black Man's View takes a look at U.S. relations with Cuba in light of the Obama administration's plan to lift travel and money transfer restrictions on Cuban Americans. Does this go far enough and is it the start of normalizing relations with Cuba? Members of the Black Political Caucus, specifically Rep. Bobby Rush of Illinois and former Black Panther, believes that we should end the decades old embargo on Cuba that goes back to 1958 and strengthen by Republicans and Bill Clinton in 1996. Is this embargo fair to Cuba and those who wish to do business with her? Has the embargo caused suffering in Cuba? What role has Cuba played in the world when it comes to human rights for people of African descent? Conservatives are angry because President Obama touched a raw nerve with them and they want all Americans to be angry with them. The fact is, he was talking about them and the prior Bush administration. He was talking about conservative pundits like Rush Limbaugh who told his niece the only way to be wealthy in the talk show game, half America has to hate you. So throw divisive in there too. They hate Muslims, they said we should name French Fries "Freedom Fries", they called the French and Democrats "surrender monkeys". They call liberals "libtards" and Ron Paul supporters "Paultards". They cherry pick speeches and take them out of context, they lie, they cheat, they steal and they know President Obama was talking about them so if the shoe fits, wear it unless it is being thrown at you. Then you better duck. I know, the Truth hurts so take your meds and get over it.

Exposing the lies and subterfuge of the right wing fringe that does not know how to do anything but spread lies, fear, bigotry and hate. Covering the lies about Gun Control legislation that caused one of the nuts to murder 3 Pittsburgh police officers. Michelle Bachmann, a Minnesota nutcase who was barely elected to the Congress as a Republican lies on right wing nut radio about Obama's calls to national service. Virginian Republicans oust another fear monger from their State GOP leadership post who once told campaigners to go knock on doors and suggest a connection between Obama and Osama Bin Laden. The lies about Obama and what exactly he said in a speech to a French audience that ended in applause. No hold bars dissection of Right Wing Hate Radio.

Nancy R. Lockhart drops by to updates us on the campaign to free the Scott sisters Jamie and Gladys who wrongly convicted and have been incarcerated in Mississippi since 1994. Nancy will also clear up the misconception that the campaign is associated with racist groups. There is a group that has co-opted the name of Jamie and Gladys Scott that their family members have not endorsed and it may be soliciting funds.

Nori is a serial entrepreneur whose last company got acquired by Salesforce. He's started numerous websites and companies - 2 of which became profitable or were sold. He resides in the Bay area. Jack has been heavily involved with community service activities at MIT both as an undergrad and alum. Before BrainyFlix, his interest in public service & technology sparked an interest in improving education via the web - specifically, teaching free SAT lessons online at YouTube. The two friends have always been interested in working together and felt like BrainyFlix could be a great public service project with potential as a viable social venture.

I seriously doubt Limbaugh will retaliate. Rush is a bully and will not pick a fight with someone with a media platform equal to his. Republicans roll out an alternative budget on April Fool's Day. Is this a joke because the plan is certainly a joke and more of the same beer ad sloganeering we have become accustomed too from Republicans.
