 Podcast 412 | New Mixed Playlist: | Frankie Knuckles | Electribe 101 | Poolside | Sunpalace | Black Loops & more. | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 2:03:27

Your latest mixed playlist selection. Last week in podcast episode 411 you experienced a rare take-over by Jeroen De Wolf who provided you with a beautiful selection of new tracks. This week it’s me like usual back behind the decks with a new very carefully selected and mixed playlist. Among the releases in this week’s mixed playlist is a release that includes tracks, actually remixes that were created 30 years ago by the legendary DJ and House music originator Frankie Knuckles but recently got released for the very first time. These remixes by Frankie Knuckles on Electribe 101’s – Heading For The Night are really dope and bring you that old school house vibe. Further up in the mixed playlist I’m featuring new music from Poolside and the High Season LP with a bunch of dope remixes on it. More sun drenched music from Moodymann, Kenny Dope and Opolopo who deliver remixes for the Sunpalace – Rude Movements LP. As the weather gods have been spoiling me with a lot of sunshine in the last two weeks, I would like to put that back into this week’s mixed playlist and bring you some poolside and beach vibed music. You can expect these summer vibes in releases from Immersif on the Russian GLBDOM label. Moomin brings more sunshine flavors with his The Snoofer EP on Oath. Laid-back beats from Kusmee on the 96 Musique label from France and his Kool De Source Vol 3 adds very much up to this. Hober Mallow, Temple, Otho & Grag are adding more hotness to the mixed playlist, and the rest is left for you to find out as soon as you tune in and press play to listen to this week’s mixed playlist full of new must hear music. Dirty Disco Podcast 412 Contents. * This week there are 23 new tracks for you to get inspired with.* Among them are 2 promo’s that are forthcoming on the time of writing and recording this week’s curated mixed playlist.* Good news if you are a vinyl collector as there are 10 tracks in this selection you can buy as 12 inches.  Podcast 411 | Dirty Disco Take-over By Jeroen De Wolf | Weekly Hosted & Mixed Playlist Selections. | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 1:57:54

Dirty Disco 411 Take-over by Jeroen De Wolf. It doesn’t happen often but occasionally we have a Dirty Disco take-over, and because of the inconsistency in it, it’s always very special to have my musical friends taking over a full episode of Dirty Disco. This time I’m presenting to you my beloved colleague and friend Jeroen De Wolf who is taking over this week’s music show podcast and presents you some of the finest tunes and his ability to curate, select, mix and host the session. Before we dive into the track-list here are a few words from the man Jeroen De Wolf himself on his first ever Dirty Disco take-over. DJ | Jeroen De Wolf | Protechnive Jeroen De Wolf about this take-over. Yes, what a privilege this is! For the first time I am taking over the show from Kono Vidovic! No pressure there! Wow, what a lot of effort Kono puts into the show every week. Let’s see if I can keep up the good work. What a great guy!  My name is Jeroen de Wolf, host and deejay of a radio show called Protechnive. A deep house, melodic, techno, but also sometimes groovy related radio show on Deep Radio. Mostly with a guest deejay in the mix and sometimes I might do some mixing myself. Hopefully you’ll be able to check it out on a Friday!   So, I will try to provide you with some Dirty Disco sounding tracks for this episode. And in return Kono will take over my Protechnive show for this week. So, if you really miss him, make sure to check him out this Friday on Deep Radio! This episode 411 of Dirty Disco will start with some laidback sounds and after a few mixed tracks we will get into the groovier disco vibes. I will provide you with a little bit of deeper sounds, but of course it will be handled with care… I am very happy to be in the show and I’ll feel blessed if you tune in with me this episode! Find me here on Facebook and let me know how you feel about this session. Dirty Disco 411 Take-over Tracklist. This is actually not the first time you hear Jeroen doing some mixing in Dirty Disco, as he has been here before as a guest DJ in episode 132 here. But this is the very first time he’s totally taking over the show with his presentation, selection and mixing. So with this all said we are really curious about your thoughts and feelings on this week’s take-over session. Feel free to find us on our socials and leave feedback on all available platforms. Like always a tracklist is included here as well as in the official Spotify playlist.  Podcast 409 | Music Reviews: Fred Everything | Jacques Renault | Marina Trench | Böhm | Felipe Gordon. | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 2:07:51

New music reviews in episode 409. Every week I try to give you a unique listening experience by playing the newest releases from the electronic music scene while I guide you through the music reviews. This week I added a little bit of extra magic to this week’s podcast episode by selecting and playing two tracks that somehow connect to each other through Dirty Disco. With one of them being a track that comes from the beginning of the Nu-Disco era and shaped my love for Nu Disco and the idea to start bringing you a new unique in its own mixed radio-show format and podcast. The second track is a real ‘Chicago ‘ House classic and most probably one of the most legendary house tracks of all-time that created the beginning point of the “deep” house music scene as we know it nowadays. This track can also be found as the opening track in the House Classic special I did a few years ago. Want to find out which track’s I’m talking about? Just tune in to listen or keep on reading ;-). Music review highlights. Midnight Magic – Beam Me Up, 10 year anniversary with remixes. I just told you about the extra little bit of magic that I added to this week’s Dirty Disco episode 409. It’s about 10 years ago that Midnight Magic released their “Beam Me Up” track on the Permanent Vacation label. It was around that time I found out about the new ‘Nu-Disco’ sound and totally got into it. After coming from a long period of playing House music, I decided to add the new ‘nu disco’ sound to my DJ sound style and incorporate it with the music I was already playing. This was how Dirty Disco started as I loved that new sound so much I wanted to push it to the people and therefore decided to do something most DJ’s didn’t do at that time, bringing a presented weekly mix-session full of new releases around these genres. You can actually still listen to a few of my then called ‘Dirty Future Disco’ mixes that I created just before I changed it into the Dirty Disco mix-show as you know it today. Check them out on Mixcloud here below. Dirty Future Disco Vol 2. Dirty Future Disco Vol 3. Dirty Future Disco Vol 4. Deep Nu Disco Adventures So to continue with the Beam Me Up release by Midnight Magic which played an important role in the establishment of Dirty Disco. They are now back with the 10 years anniversary release including a few very dope remixes. For this week’s music episode I’m reviewing the release and playing you the original version and the Theo Kottis remix. Jacques Renault – Sky Islands | Let’s Play House Records. To stay a little bit nostalgic around Dirty Disco, another name that was already producing music with that Disco house vibe and also played an important role in the ‘new-disco’ era we now know as Nu Disco and sometimes just referred to as Disco House is the French producer and DJ Jacques Renault.

 Podcast 408 | New Must Hear Music: Jungle | Leon The Lover | Sattam | Hot Since 82 + more. | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 2:05:44

This week’s must hear music. The only negative thing with music is that because of the enormous amount of weekly new releases, even well-worth listening to music dies out pretty fast and doesn’t reach the majority of people. This is where I with the Dirty Disco podcasts try to step in and breathe an extra dimension of life into all of the new music releases. With dropping these must hear music releases into weekly mix selection I’m not only trying to give you a unique listening experience. But I’m also hoping to inspire you with new artists and their must hear music. No bragging, but you can’t stop listening. It always feels a little bit like bragging, or trying to sell the listening experience. But once you have tuned into Dirty Disco you can’t stop listening. And that’s mostly because of the amount of weekly quality must hear music I present to you. Every week there is a new selection with tunes I think from you should hear or add to your music collections. And also this week is not different. Sun-drenched beats. In this week’s music selection podcast Dirty Disco 408, I try to bring a selection to you with a lot of those sun-drenched and good weather inspired beats. Most of the selection includes deep sunny vibes with touches of disco, soul, jazz and a lot of electronica. This week’s highlights are. Some of the highlights in this must hear music selection you can’t miss out on are the tracks from Scruscru, Jehan and Hotmood on the Perfect Duality Series various artists compilation on Deeppa Records, bringing you those real sunshine beats. For a bit more of that high-energy disco dance music I’m happy to play you the latest release from Yonatan Rukhman on Solid State Disco called “Fire Lust”. For a bit of those summer festival vibes I’m featuring the Illyus & Barrientos remix on Sol Brothers & Damon Scott’s – Turn Around on Flipside Records. Which is a perfect festival groover for this summer. Last but not least from all of the amazing must hear music tracks in this week’s selection, a new track from one of my favorite bands “Jungle” got a very dope remix treatment from The Blessed Madonna. Their Keep Moving track recently got released and is also included on the forthcoming album and 3th studio album titled: Loving In Stereo which will be released in August of 2021. Dirty Disco 408 contents. * 24 new must hear music releases separated on various EP’s and LP’s. On digital format and some of them on vinyl.* 5 Vinyl (12”) releases on: Deeppa Records, Soothsayer and Razor ‘N Tape.* 4 Promo releases (on the time of writing) from: Baianasystem, Partner Music and Sol Brothers & Damon Scott.* 1 Featured album on Soothsayer titled: First Light Vol 2 Compiled by CCDisco!.* A full two hour guided DJ must hear music selection that is also available as a standalone DJ mix, without the voice-over presentation by me. Episode 408 tracklist. Just like I earlier mentioned my weekly selections are to give you an unique listening experience while you get inspired with and discover new must hear music. Next to the guidance in the podcast the tracklist listed here below is also a very important element of it. You can use it to find your favorite tunes and artist or labels that I play. When finding your music online and taking part in social...

A new mixed playlist selection in Dirty Disco 407. Here at Dirty Disco a new week simply means a new essential mixed playlist selection. Or in other words a new podcast episode of Dirty Disco 407. If you tuned into last week’s music show 406, you’ll notice that there are a few similarities in artists. That’s because I selected the tracks for both episodes together and chose to use different tracks but from the same EP releases in both podcasts. Like always the selections are carefully considered, mixed together and guided by yours truly, feel free to follow me on my socials and to get in touch with me. Social networks are listed in the top-right menu. There’s A Nightclub Inside My Head Mixed playlist highlights. My selection in Dirty Disco 407 ranges within the electronic music sub-genres from world electronica, deep house grooves with jazz and soul influences to, funky nu disco, dreamy house landscapes, all the way up to high energetic beats and breaks with a lot of atmosphere. Music to consider for buying or streaming can be the new release by Clive from Accounts on the German Dirt Crew imprint and his “Cooking The Books‘ EP. Like last week the forthcoming Boston Bun album on Ed Banger ‘There’s a Nightclub Inside My Head‘ is once again being featured and a real house-head must-have. Marc Brauners – Gamba Roja on Midnight Snacks is also something I can relate to and I would like to suggest. Last but not least all the way towards the end of this week’s mixed playlist selection you’ll find a new track by The Chemical Brothers and a very dope Dusky remix on Trance Wax’s Northern Sky.  Podcast 405 | Weekly Music Mix Selection: Sound Support | Bress Underground | Jesusdapnk & Currents + more. | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 2:05:03

Weekly Music Mix Selection in Dirty Disco 405. After last week’s legendary guest-mix by the Doormen On Vacation in episode 404. I’m back at ya with a new weekly music mix selection full of new must have tunes all mixed together into a 2 hour presented DJ mix. For this essential selection I curated new releases from a wide range of electronic sub-genres but made sure they all fit in harmony in this week’s DJ mix, which you can also stream as a standalone DJ mix here on my Mixcloud profile. This week’s must-have hot new releases. In this episode of Dirty Disco 405 we are looking at what’s hot on labels like: Citizens Of Vice with a new sun drenched EP from Saúco that lives up to its name ‘Sun Goddess’. On Razor ‘N Tape we witness how the Israelian duo Rabo & Snob bring you a pure Afro House heater with vocals from Ghanese Soma Iddrissu. After recently doing mixes for Caribou (Dan Snaith) and Christine and the Queens, the Sydney based female producer Logic1000 now remixed Skeleten’s Walking On Your Name with great flair and created an off-kilter piece of electronica from it. More music behind Dam Swindle. The Gentlemen from the Dutch house music duo Dam Swindle (formerly known as Detroit Swindle) are both also producing under their own solo projects and or other aliases. Last week I presented you the latest EP by Maarten Smeets (one half of Dam Swindle) under his The Wanderist monikker. In this weekly music mix selection I curated the new Apollo 21 EP by the other half of Dam Swindle (Lars Dales) who collaborates together with Lorenz Rhodes under the Sound Support project and released their Apollo 21 EP on Norwegian Oslo based label Internasjonal Run by Prins Thomas. Jacking Disco House from Valencia. Then there are also two new EP’s on the Valencia based Disco house label theBasement Discos that I interviewed here a while back. San Diego based producers Jesusdapnk and Currents dropped their Disco drenched house EP “South Bay Disco” which also includes a remix by a common face from the label Kostrok. The other release is from George Cynnamon – Just Asking, who is a Belgium based producer bringing a high energy disco groover to the label catalogue. Music talks, DJ Plays. As I love to talk about music I can continue forever with writing about all of the releases in this weekly music mix selection Dirty Disco 405. But there is something better that DJ’s do next to talking about music. Clearly that is playing music and inspiring people with great tunes and new artists to listen too. With this said I would like you to tune in and step into the groove with me. Dirty Disco 405 Contents. * 23 new curated electronic music tracks all mixed together into a 2 hour hosted DJ mix.* 2 promo releases (on the time of writing) by Joescho on Everybody In Records.  Podcast 404 | Doormen On Vacation – Exclusive Guest-mix session. | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 2:07:47

Doormen On Vacation in Dirty Disco. When you hear “Doormen On Vacation” that might not immediately ring a bell. But that’s about to change as I invited this fairly new collective over for a very special guest-mix session in Dirty Disco episode 404. There’s also a very big chance that you already know the three gentlemen who are behind the Doormen On Vacation collective as they are already very well established names from the electronic music scene. Together they hold over 476 years of experience in the electronic music scene. Their record collections could fill the Grand Canyon and together they have more skill then Messi.Doormen On Vacation. To give you a small introduction just before I present them to you when you may say “Damn thats dope!‘. Together they hold over 476 years of experience in the electronic music scene. Their record collections could fill the Grand Canyon and together they have more skill then Messi. To be clear this isn’t about football, neither it’s about the familiar ‘tech house’ sound you may know them from. The Doormen On Vacation are here to share their love, passion and knowledge in music through a very special series of grown up all nighter sets that are full of the best and unknown edits, remixes and originals from the 70’s and 80’s. Doormen On Vacation (from left to right: Roland Leesker, Philipp Jung, John Acquaviva). Who are Doormen On Vacation? At this point you could be like: come on Kono! Bring it on, stop teasing us and tell who are the guys behind Doormen On Vacation. The collective is formed by three names that you for sure have heard music from, danced on and perhaps even played in your sets if you are a DJ yourself. Doormen On Vacation are: John Acquaviva, Roland Leesker and Philipp Jung. Now it might be so that you don’t immediately know all of them so let me introduce them to you. Roland Leesker, head-honcho at Get Physical. Roland Leesker is not only responsible for the DJ guest-mix session in Dirty Disco episode 404 under his DJ Rolando name. He also happens to be the head-honcho of one of the most influential house music labels in the world “Get Physical Music“. Next to DJ’ing and curating awesome music in his selections, he works as an A&R manager to spot and manage next generation talents as well as working with already very established names in the electronic music scene. John Acquaviva, key techno innovator. John Acquaviva is a real key techno innovator who is not only known for his technical DJ skills and music selections in his DJ sets that cross multiple era’s. Back in the 90’s he worked together with Richie Hawtin to set up the Plus 8 and Definitive labels. He’s also known for his all-nighter sets at Berghain in Berlin and Space in Ibiza. Philipp Jung, talking Body Language. Last but definitely not least is Philipp Jung. And to give you a hint of where you know him from I would like to say. Dum dum dum dum. Clearly this doesn’t work that very well in text format :-). But when I say Body Language and that he is half of the notorious M.A.N.D.Y. House duo responsible for this huge House classic. This must be very familiar to you as a real electronic music lover. If not for whatever reason you know this man and the music. No worries as we are not here to judge but to educate. Just listen to

Not the actual apparel, but just an visual to guide this section. Dirty Disco apparel survey. Now that I have your attention, I would kindly like to ask for your help by filling in this survey here. The reason for this survey is in fact very simple. Our belief is to promote music and positivity as a lifestyle through Dirty Disco. To reach and infect more people with our music we are looking for growth. Next to being available through a multitude of channels. We also want to create something that people can wear and showcase their love for Dirty Disco with. So a Dirty Disco apparel line in the form of t-shirts, hoodies, beanies, face-masks and more is a no-brainer. Ecological & sustainable. But because we don’t just want to offer you the next printed shirt. And we are looking for something better, more exclusive in a sustainable way with a responsible ecological footprint we are investigating and found out that we may need to put more budget in our idea. A budget that we in the first place don’t really have and since we aren’t experienced fashion designers we are not sure if this will work. So here comes your help, by letting us know if you would dig a Dirty Disco apparel line and how this should look like by filling in this small survey. Content in Dirty Disco 403.  Podcast 400 | Weekly Music Selection: Diplo & Mat.Joe | Lesny Deep | Black Loops | Caribou | + more. | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 2:04:31

Dirty Disco Podcast 400. Even though we are not really celebrating it with an exceptional episode, podcast 400 is a milestone on it’s own. Having in mind that I have been bringing you curated selections in the form of Dirty Disco for 400 weeks in a row (Yes that’s 7,7 years). The end of it isn’t visible yet as I’m planning to bring much more music to you. The only thing that’s about to change is that I always aim to make it better. In terms of progress and Dirty Disco evolving, you can listen to the Dirty Disco selections in much more ways now, and even more in the future. Next to the weekly music podcast you can listen to the official Dirty Disco Spotify playlist here. And or find new curated music uploads on the Dirty Disco YouTube channel and the live stream here which is still in beta on Mixcloud to just name a few activities. Reaching podcast 400 also made me think of bringing more than just music. So a Dirty Disco apparel line is something I’m now working on together with Falko, among other ideas to bring more great music together with positive vibes to you. Stay tuned to Dirty Disco, subscribe to us on all your favorite platforms and the newsletter to stay updated on all new things coming soon. Contents of Dirty Disco podcast 400. Similar to every new music podcast episode, this week I curated a new selection of electronic music. Which we can divide up into these following segments. * 25 new selected tracks from various EP’s & LP’s ranging in the electronic music sub-genres: Deep House, Disco House, House Music, here and there funky & soulful vibes. Electronica and a bit of that breakbeat house vibe.* 4 promo releases. (Forthcoming tracks on the time of recording) by: The new Colours 6 LP on Seven Music. Loods on Club Sweat, Laroye on Local Talk.* 9 vinyl tracks from: Jimpster – Soul Spectrum on Freerange, Joel Holmes – Osmosis on Toy Tonics, Sweely – Beast In My Bass on Automatic Writing, Black Loops – Circulation EP on Shall Not Fade. Among many others.* 4 Albums by: Seven Music – Colours 6, Do You Dance on Higher Ground, The Round Up Pt 7 on Heist Recordings, Caribou with his Suddenly Remixes LP available through his Bandcamp page.* This all curated, selected and mixed together in a 2 hour DJ mix, which is also available without the presentation here. Podcast 400 Highlights. Clearly I like all releases curated in this week’s Dirty Disco podcast 400. And yet there are much more as every week I select around 100 new tracks. Sometimes less, but way often much more. From this what I call “pre-selection” I finally end up with the end selection that gets into the mix in every episode. That does not mean that all of the other EP’s and LP’s I find are not worthy. These are real gems too and i really would love to highlight them to you in some sort of way. But when it comes to making a mix, the music needs to somehow connect. And because we are limited in time not all tracks reach the final result. This is for example one of the reasons why there is a Dirty Disco YouTube channel where more music gets upload...

I would like to highlight a few releases so you know what’s coming up and what there is to expect. Kraak & Smaak – Pleasure Centre Remixed | Boogie Angst When you refer to the track listing on the bottom of this page, you’ll see that there are 4 tracks just coming from the Dutch collective Kraak & Smaak. A bit longer than a year ago they dropped their Pleasure Centre LP on their own Boogie Angst label where they collaborated on with other emerging artists from the electronic music scene. It now has received the well deserved remix treatment and got released in two parts. Pleasure Centre remixed pt 1 & pt 2 includes remixes from: Yuksek, Makez, Saison to just name a few. A real go to for Nu Disco and funky house music lovers. Wantigga – Andreas | Studio Koto. Let’s stick a bit longer with Dutch artists and look at the debut album by DJ and producer Wantigga titled Andreas which recently dropped on Studio Koto. If you like a mixture of deep electronica beats, breaks and that 4 to the floor house vibe. This album is a must have! Let’s stick a bit longer with Dutch artists and look at the debut album by DJ and producer Wantigga titled Andreas which recently dropped on Studio Koto. If you like a mixture of deep electronica beats, breaks and that 4 to the floor house vibe. This album is a must have! Jacopo SB – Around My Mind | GLBDOM Classic. The Russian GLBDOM electronic music label recently started a new sub-label called GLBDOM Classic to create a new channel to release more Chicago, Detroit and 90’s New York inspired house music on, with a touch of Italian Dream House and Balearica. Exactly that is what you’ll hear on the first release from Jacopo...
