Podcast 440 | New music Monday: Franck Roger – Johannes Albert – Blazers – Lars Bartkuhn & more. | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 2:02:19

New music Monday in 2022. As 2022 slowly becomes more trusted I keep bringing you new music selections with sometimes a view back into history. This second new music Monday in 2022 does exactly that. Next to a bunch of dope new gems I’m also featuring a few legendary tracks that brings us back to that late 80’s Chicago house vibe. The cool thing about this is that there are also a few new releases in this week’s curated mix show that sound like they come from the late 80’s house scene. Which makes the tracks work even better in the mix. Late 80’s Chicago house vibe. A lot happened in this period and it definitely created the history of house music. Names like Larry Heard (Mr. Fingers), Frankie Knuckles, Jamie Principle and the well established Trax Records company played a huge role in the electronic music scene of then, and still now. Recently the label re-released a few real House Classics from the above-mentioned artists. Expect me to go into the mix with that famous late 80’s Chicago house sound in Your Love by Frankie Knuckles and Can You Feel It by Mr. Fingers. The new releases by: Franck Roger and his Best Of Real Tones Records compilation also bring that 80’s house vibe to the mix. The only difference is that these tracks are from 2021. Then later in the mix you’ll hear a new track from Johannes Albert who tries to make our bodies get together. Which also brings in exactly this late 80’s house sound. There is more but, I’ll also leave it up to your imagination and listening experience to just press play and listen to the full show for an optimal sound experience. DJ mixes. You can hear me mention it a few times every week in the podcast. But as the podcast is completely sponsor free, and there are no ads running. I do need some sort of income stream to cover my expenses. I’m that type that wants to give value when you pay for something. Therefore you can support me and get access to the DJ mixes from every podcast episode. These DJ mixes are the raw version of the show. No talking, only 100% pure mixed music in a 2 hour session. This has always been available on Mixcloud Select. But since a while you can also sign-up in Spotify for the premium marked episodes that are the DJ only mixes. Dirty Disco 440 Tracklist. Press play, tune in and have fun listening to these mixed music gems in this new music Monday episode. Use the tracklist below to find your favorite picks and make sure to let me know which tracks you liked the most. Thanks for reading and enjoy listening.  Podcast 439 | Welcome 2022: Darryl Baalki – Tree Threes – Cinthie – Locklead – Buzz Compass & more. | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 2:06:08

Welcome to 2022. Welcome to 2022! Let’s focus on becoming a better version of ourselves to be able to take good care of our loved ones and our surroundings. In order to get chances and opportunities we have to create them first. Live healthier and happier. I wish you nothing but the best because you deserve it. I will be here with you all through 2022 and support you through the power of music and positivity. I’m looking forward to bringing you a year full of great new music, mixes, new gems, future classics, new artist picks, labels and a bunch load of positive energy. If you ever feel like connecting with me, feel free to do so through my email address or my social media channels which you can find links to in the right upper corner of the website menu. This week’s featured electronic music releases. Now without further ado, let’s focus on the music in this very first podcast episode of 2022. If you missed out last week’s show. Which includes a personal message to a better 2022 you can listen to it here. For this new Dirty Disco podcast episode I curated 23 new tracks from artists like: Three Trees, Locklead, Buzz Compass, Cinthie, Igor Gonya, Tito Wun, Hotmood, Ron Trent, Omar S and many more. Dobro Tape 002. Most of this week’s picks are coming from a few new various artist compilation albums. The brand new Dobro Tape 002 is out and available as a cassette. The Russian House music label features new and unreleased material from artists like: Buzz Compass, Leiba, Hotmood, Sune & Igor Gona, to just name a few I’m playing for you. 10 Yahre – Ava Records. Then there also is the 10th anniversary of the German Ava Records label run by Damiano Von Erckert. The LP comes as a 4LP vinyl edition featuring 22 tracks from artists like: Cinthie, Tito Wun, Axel Boman, Ron Trent and more. When you order the 4LP compilation you’ll get a 30 pages printed magazine, a mixed CD, a textile keychain and some dope Ava Records stickers. A new (side) podcast without music, but in-depth stories. I’m also investigating the interest in a side-podcast which can be a separate podcast (without music) to feature more in-depth stories from the electronic music scene. Think of artist interviews, label spotlights. But also podcast talks with other people from the scene and subjects that matter music, DJing, equipment, how to’s etc. I would like to know how much interest there would be from the Dirty Disco community so please feel free to let me know through email or my socials if you would dig this. Once again, welcome to 2022! Please enjoy this week’s and the first of 2022 Dirty Disco podcast. Dirty Disco 439 tracklist. New Music Monday. It’s time for another new music monday with a bunch of good quality music for you to listen to, use in your own sets or get inspired by as another kind of music professional. Feel free to use the information however you please as my goals is to bring positivity and motivate everyone through music. Legendary names from the electronic music scene. In this new curated mix selection there are a bunch of already legendary names from the scene. Think of master remixers Opolopo from Sweden, or the crate digger The Reflex bringing a crate full of new revisions for you to handle and please your crowds or your own ears and mind with. Next to these familiar names there are many others that you might know under their current or other aliases. As an example is one half of the Dam Swindle duo who goes under his real name Maarten Smeets and also runs his solo project called ‘Wanderist’. Check him out in the mix towards the end of this episode. More to check out in this week’s music monday. Other underrated names from the scene who I think you should check out and follow. Are all listed in this week’s tracklist below. But here are a few of my favorite picks from the current mix selection. On the Bristol based electronic music label ‘Shall Not Fade’ there are two new EP releases included. On from Laurence Guy, bringing you his and your good times as he produced and got inspired by the better prospect on Covid-19. But nothing seems as it is. Nevertheless the EP is worth checking out and includes some quality tunes from the man. Next to Laurence Guy, Shall Not Fade also featured Theo Kottis with his new ‘The Mirror’ EP with two sick new tracks bringing you that dope goosebump house vibe. As I was talking about ‘Wanderist’ (one half of the Dam Swindle duo) there is more music from The Netherlands in this week’s music podcast show. Previously played here in Episode 431 before it got released, I’m featuring the new Paradise, Forever EP by Uzu Moon on the Rotterdam based electronic music label Fluid Funk. For the vinyl lovers. More to hype yourself up as a 12” lover with are the new releases by Lis Sarroca on Chiwax / Rawax available on vinyl. Dea on Gudu Records with the dope Glazer Drum EP. Aiden Francis – Mezzanine, Simon Hinter – Saturday Night and many more. Just tune in, feel comfortable and enjoy the listening experience in this week’s electronic music podcast.  Podcast 434 | New Music Monday: Kaytranada – Darius – Seb Wildblood – Elkka – Janeret – Marcel Vogel – Gavinco & more. | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 2:04:58

New music monday. What’s going on lovely people? I hope everybody is doing fine and that you are ready to get inspired with new music on this new music monday here at Dirty Disco. In this specific podcast episode there are 25 new tracks from a wide range of artists and music labels, just like you are used to here at Dirty Disco. Among the 25 new tunes, 13 can be found as a 12 inch for that black gold quality sound. This week’s new music highlights. Some of this week’s new music highlights are the new Intimidated EP by Kaytranada which features 3 new songs and collaborations with H.E.R., Thundercat and Mach-Hommy. Next, Parisian producer Darius dropped his new Oasis EP on Roche Music with a few very high quality tracks including some dope collaborations. Johannes Albert is a name we often play here in our new music monday mix sessions. But he also happens to be running his Frank Music label for 10 years. And to celebrate that he released the 10 Years Of Frank Music Part 1 various artist EP. On the EP you’ll find a couple of his friend producers with some high quality music. Other tracks to watch out for this week are from Cooly G on the Hyperdub label with two perfect produced tracks and collaborations with Marcus Damon and Ruth Brown. Expect mixture of her signature sounds, deep bass, dubby vocals, sultry atmospheres and solid drums. From my hometown Amsterdam, The Netherlands we have Marcel Vogel together with Tim Jules who dropped a very good new EP on the Bristol based Shall Not Fade label. For this occasion the two gentlemen worked together with a few singers: Alexandre Arslan, Hector Wijnbergen and Khadija. On the very same Shall Not Fade label I’m also featuring two new tracks from the Brighton based producer Joe Newham aka Gavinco who brings his characteristic jazz house infusions to the label with his new Beriza LP (available as 12”). Let me continue with another new music monday LP coming from the iconic live music trio ‘Aroma Pitch’ who are now back on the Public Possession label with their new Interlife album. If you are a fan of sultry jazz with deep bass infused grooves this one is a must listen with headphones on to a new music album. If you like those up-tempo deep house vibes you are in for a treat with Kevin Lee from Berlin who delivers his debut EP on the Spanish Miura label, which also happens to be the 20th release for the label. Here are a few in this new playlist mix that give insights on what to expect this week in Dirty Disco. Flight Facilities – ForeverBonobo & O’Flynn – Otomo Let’s start with the two artist albums. Recently Flight Facilities dropped their highly anticipated new album ‘Forever’. Second there is the forthcoming new Fragments album by electronic music legend Bonobo. Which drops on the 14th of January 2022 on Ninja Tune. With the album announcement Bonobo also revealed his 2022 world tour and dropped a few singles prior to the full release like the most recently played Rosewood and in this weeks curated ‘Otomo’ where he collaborated with O’Flynn on. Further I have a few dope new EP’s that I curated for this week’s playlist mix. And by the way if you are looking for an unmixed version of this week’s podcast, you can always refer to my Spotify playlist here. Sweatson Klank – The Off SwitchJKriv & Peter Matson – Bigtime EPGeorges – Sights If you like slow deep jazz beats, you are in for a treat with the new EP ‘The Off Switch’ by Sweatson Klank. “The Off Switch” EP is inspired by places & spaces where nature and architecture work together synonymously in harmony and the effect that it has on the human psyche. The Dutch influences this week are coming from the Boogie Angst label (run by Kraak & Smaak) who signed French producer Georges who brings his organic, smooth swing science to Boogie Angst with the luscious funk and disco sounds of his “Sights” EP – after his remix for Kraak & Smaak’s ‘Naked’ earlier this year. On the Amsterdam based and run by Dam Swindle label Heist Recordings. We’re welcoming some new faces to the Heist roster with this release: JKriv & Peter Matson, who present their ‘Bigtime EP.’ We all know JKriv from his excellent Razor-N-Tape label and his work as a producer and remixer of all things soulful. This one is still a promo on the current time of writing this music blog, and will drop on the 26th of November on both digital and vinyl format. While I could last this music blog forever, we are mostly here for the listening pleasure. So let’s just do exactly that and tune in to this week’s new playlist mix.

 Podcast 432 | New Music Mix: Buzz Compass – Joyce Muniz – Jaded – Scope – Dusky – Baltra & more. | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 2:04:04

New Music Mix session & playlist. What’s good beautiful people?! I hope everybody is doing great in these still uncertain and strange times. Whatever happens I always support and motivate myself to stay positive and learn from hard times. To bring a few rays of sunshine into your life, I curated a new music mix session and playlist which includes 23 new tracks, with 15 being also pressed as vinyl. I have 8 promo releases that I want to share and 2 artist albums. All of this like every week in a 2 hour hosted DJ mix. In the mix. Let’s take a closer look into this week’s music selection, but not too close as I want you to tune in and enjoy the full listening experience. There are two new artist LP’s I would like to share with you. The first one comes from our Russian DJ and producer friend Andrey Bychenkov aka Buzz Compass which we presented to you many years ago. He has been making quality music for many years and now he presents his first artist album on the Inhale Exhale records label. His debut album is titled Live With You and gives us a very pleasant journey from classic deep house, to funky rhythms, ambient house with that classic 80’s synth vibe sparkled over it. In my opinion all tracks are very much worth checking out and that’s also the reason why I included at least 5 tracks from his new album in this week’s new music mix session. Dusky. Then there is another new album you most likely will dig when you are an electronic music lover. The UK based producers duo from Londen, Dusky just dropped a hot new album. JOY brings together all the finesse and subtlety that Dusky have honed while traversing the various corners of clubland over the past decade, all their understanding of fundamental dance floor dynamics, and channels it all to a single, unified purpose. This project is a distillation of the spirit of people coming together in hard times, forgetting their troubles and celebrating life. All of the core elements here are familiar from the peak rave era and the birth of hardcore – the cascading pianos, the infectious bleep melodies, the Chicago and Detroit grooves, the rugged Belgian techno riffs, and the proto-jungle break beats – but retooled, rewired, and refreshed for this brave new world. More music in the mix. Next to these two artist albums there are a bunch of dope new EP’s to check out. Therefore I would suggest you tune in to this week’s new music mix session and feel the listening experience. Feel free to use the tracklist below to find these new gems so you can add them to your own playlists and or include them in your DJ mix efforts. Thanks for reading and enjoy listening. New music reviews and mixed playlist. In this week’s music show I included a bunch of new music reviews together with the mixed playlist. There are a total of 27 new music releases, with 13 of them also available on vinyl (12”). 5 promos and 6 new album releases. Once again I did my very best to curate a fine selection and glued it together into a two hour mix-session including new music reviews and other information. Be aware that the full DJ mix (without talking) is also available through my personal Mixcloud account for my exclusive select members. New music releases to check out. I always suggest you listen to the full show and let me guide you in this music journey. Next to inspire you with new music reviews and releases. I also try to create a real listening experience. All selected music is always very carefully picked and therefore worth checking out in my opinion. It even goes beyond as I selected these 27 tunes from an even larger pre-selection that includes many more dope new music. But as I let the music guide me in the procedure It’s always a moment that’s being recorded, and I wish I had more time to present you these other hundreds of tunes as well. If there is enough interest I might start a curated service one day. So please do let me know if you would be interested in a sort of music pool for DJ and or just for listening purposes. For now you have to do it with my weekly selection and mix efforts in this week’s installment of Dirty Disco 431 (season 8). New highlighted albums and EP’s. Nightmares On Wax is back with a new very solid and dope album titled: Shout It Out! To Freedom on Warp Records.  Podcast 430 | New Vinyl Releases by: Billy Cobham – Jacques Greene – Ross From Friends – Kassian – Donnie Moustaki – Call Super & more. | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 2:12:23

New vinyl releases and more. If you love to buy and collect new vinyl releases, this is your lucky day. Every podcast episode there are always a few releases that are available as 12 inch. But this time almost all track’s that I selected are pressed on vinyl. From the 24 selected tunes, 20 are available on vinyl, some in limited editions, some with awesome sleeves and some exclusively as a 12”. So this week’s selected mix session is perfect if you are interested in finding those new music gems on 12 inch. But If you just dig music whether it’s on vinyl or not, all of the tracks (except those exclusively on 12”) are also available as digital formats and or on the streaming service like here in our weekly update Spotify playlist. New electronic music albums to look out for. Among the 24 new releases, there are 4 new electronic music albums you need to check out. Jazz-rock fusion drummer Billy Cobham collaborated with Italian producer Novecento for his second installment of his Drum’n Voice series. Including a bunch of very well remixed versions by Al Kent, Late Nite Tuff Guy, Louie Vega and many more. Donnie Moustaki delivers a new LP with Jazz infused Disco and Hip Hop beats on his No Signal album released on the Blag Numbers Cheesy Lover sub-label. Then there is Ross from Friends. No not ‘the’ Ross from Friends, but the British producer Felix Clary Weatherall better known under his stage / artist name: Ross From Friends. Who now delivers an amazing electronic music journey in the form of a new album titled: Tread. Last but not least is electronic music producer Jacques Greene who recently dropped a new album ANTH01 on Lucky Me that includes a lot of twelve inch releases from the early days in his career. Some of these can already be called classics and introduced Jacques Green into the electronic music scene. Dirty Disco 430 Tracklist. You can find the full tracklist here below. Feel free to use it as you please and share the podcast on your own socials and channels to inspire people with new music and support Dirty Disco. Thanks for reading and enjoy the show.  Podcast 429 | New Electronic Music by: Purple Disco Machine – Bellaire – Sven Wegner – Dirtytwo – Byron The Aquarius and more. | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 2:04:52

New Electronic Music – Episode 429. What’s going on lovely people? Once again I’m back with a brand new electronic music selection which you can check out as a full 2 hour mixed and hosted radio show. As a playlist on Spotify, and or as a DJ only mixes when you sign-up for my Mixcloud select membership. This way you are able to check out new tunes how you please, but the get the full experience I strongly suggest to listen to the Dirty Disco music podcast / show as I’m not only bringing you new electronic music, but also review them, give a little of that in-depth info from the music scene and I always try to bring an extra layer of positive energy into your life through the show and I really hope it reaches you. Enough about the how and the why, let’s see what’s inside of this week’s new electronic music podcast in Dirty Disco episode 429. Last week I stumbled upon 179 new tracks separated over different EP’s and LP’s. After curating and making the final selection for the mix, I ended up with these 23 new electronic music releases. Dating at the Disko. Purple Disco Machine, Lorenz Rhode, Bellaire and Folamour do what they do best. Among the selection you’ll probably hear a few familiar names. Especially when you are a long-time listener of Dirty Disco you will recognize names like: Purple Disco Machine who recently dropped his Exotica LP. (Yes! available as a 12”). Even though the full LP is fat. I’m just teasing you with his collaboration with Lorenz Rhode on the track “At The Disko”. Both names are very common here in the music podcast, as I played Lorenz Rhode in last week’s episode 428 under his Sound Support moniker with one half of the Dam Swindle duo from Amsterdam. While we are ‘At The Disko’ with PDM and Lorenz Rhode, we might as well do some dating and play you another frequently played producer but perhaps not so familiar to you yet. We love to add that extra touch of dirt to the show and the in France, Lille based producer Bellaire just gave us enough to work with on his new ‘Date At The Disco (Deluxe) LP. From that EP I’m playing you ‘French Coast’ in the Folamour remix (another often played artist). Promo’s and more music promo’s. But next to these beautiful and qualitative Nu Disco vibes, there are also a few new promo release I would like to share with you. Last week Amir from the Rotterdam based Fluid Funk Record label reached out on Instagram with their new forthcoming release by the in Hamburg, Germany based Sven Wegner and his Night Of Light EP. Expect solid full of groove and feel-good vibes music as I will play you at least two tracks from the EP in the opening sequence of this week’s music show episode. Right after the two dope tracks by Sven Wegner the mixing continues and I’m dropping you the 3th promo coming from the Swedish Dirtytwo duo who make their debut on the Seven Music label with: Movin’. Not only Seven Music’s label head honchos South West Seven drop a beautiful crafted remix, but you’ll also hear JKriv on the bass, Anna Edin taking care of the vocals, and Henric Bellinger playing the guitar.

Podcast 428 | New Playlist Update – Wayne Snow – Bonobo – John Tejada – Sound Support – Art Of Tones & more. | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 2:08:07

New playlist update – Dirty Disco 428. After the beautiful and very well taken care of Dirty Disco take-over by Dragan Kucirov last week in episode 427. I’m back with a new playlist update for you in this week’s mix session. I really enjoyed Dragan’s selection and presentation last week, and I sincerely hope you did too. If you would love to have a take-over again soon please let me know in the comments. This time I’m back at you with a new hosted mix-session and a playlist update. I discovered some new tunes that I would love to share with you. Some from the lesser known artists and some of the already well established producers in the scene. Even though I like all tracks in this playlist I suggest you make sure to check out The Distance by T.E.E.D. (Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs) who soon will drop a new EP where it’s on. There are two new EP’s from the very frequently played and loved label ‘theBasement Discos‘ and a new release on their sub/sister label Miura. Talking about well established names in the electronic music scene. Bonobo just dropped a new tune titled: Rosewood, which in my opinion is a very beautiful track. The Dam Swindle duo also runs a label called Heist Recordings that recently released a new EP by Colombian, Bogota based multi-jazz-instrumentalist Felipe Gordon. And one half of the two from (Amster) Dam Swindle (Lars Dales) who collaborates with Lorenz Rhodes under their Sound Support moniker also released their new Mehari EP on Let’s Play House Records. Then there is John Tejada who dropped his Year Of The Living Dead Remixes on Kompakt Records. Marc Brauner will soon return on the Midnight Snacks label with his Gamba Blanca EP and already pushed his track I Gotta Run to promote it. Idan Hana on Dirt Crew is definitely one to grab. Art Of Tones recently started his new label: PALP and released a new EP “All Night Brotherhood” that also includes a dope remix from Russian DJ and producer Scruscru. Next to this there is so much I can talk about. The best thing to do and experience it in its fullest is to simply tune into this week’s music show podcast and hear what this new playlist update is all about in a 2 hour Dj mix. Which happens to be available as a standalone, with no presentation DJ mix on my Mixcloud account for my members. That’s about it for this week. Please let me know how you feel about this week’s episode. Have a great week, let the music be your guide, stay positive and focus on what makes you happy. Dirty Disco playlist update.
