New curated music mix podcast. Again I have curated a lot of new releases I think you should hear and therefore combined them into a new curated music mix podcast. In this week’s Dirty Disco podcast episode there are 24 new tracks, 14 of them can be bought / ordered online as a 12”. Among these new releases are 5 albums and 4 exclusive promo plays. 5 new and old albums. For this week’s music mix podcast selection I curated 5 new music albums divided up in artist LP’s and various artist LP’s. Freerange Records head honcho Jimpster finally released his lockdown album which he produced in 2020/21. In February 2022 his Birdhouse LP got released and is his 7th full length studio album which might just be his most accessible LP to date. With Birdhouse Jimpster steps away from his traditional dance floor grooves to revisit his earlier sounds and inspirations in jazz, ambient, downtempo, chill-out electronica vibes. Wayward is waiting for the world to be remixed. Wayward‘s debut LP ‘Waiting For The World’ just got a remix treatment by 10 impressive names from the electronic music scene. System Olympia, Cameo Blush, Tim Reaper and Tour-Maubourg are just a few names from the list of remixers on the remix LP. The album is released on Silver Bear Recordings and can be ordered as vinyl. Loz Goddard – Balloon Tree Road. Manchester based producer Loz Goddard has provided us with high quality eclectic music since 2015. With releases on labels such as Church, Quintessentially and the likes of the well established names: Mr Scruff, Move D, Session Victim among others he kept reinventing his own sound and style and recently dropped his beautiful new LP Balloon Tree Road on Oath Records. The beauty of his new LP is that the featured tracks are both crafted for club plays as well as for home listening. Last but not least the LP is just like the other LP’s above available as 12”. Daft Punk – Homework 25th Anniversary Edition. Yes that’s right! The debut LP of one of the most iconic dance music duo’s in the world just became 25 years old. After their official break-up and sudden stop last year Daft Punk now announces a digital and vinyl reissue of both their debut LP Homework and their Alive LP from 1997. The vinyl reissue can already be pre-ordered and will be shipped in April. The digital edition includes a few tracks that from now can be listened to on the streaming services. This week’s new music show. Here’s another roundup with great new music that I found, curated and selected for this week’s new music selection in Dirty Disco 446. For this episode I’m starting off a little different than usual as you might expect a build up from low tempo electronica to the higher in BPM genres. Well even though I start around 115 beats per minute and build it up all the way to 128 BPM. The beginning of this week’s music show is more into that deep tech vibe. Somewhere in the middle the sound vibe turns into more of that disco, boogie and soul infused house music to finally end this week’s new music show with a few very deep, tech and slight towards to progressive side house music releases. New albums to listen to. Among this week’s new music mix selection there are 3 new albums coming from: Rhode & Brown, their Everything In Motion Remixes LP is out and features dope remixes from producers like System Olympia and Kornel Kovacs to just name the two that I’m featuring this week. Last but not least is the very deep tech infused Dimensions LP by Steve O’Sullivan on Sushitech, which is full of dope tracks and collaborations with established names from the electronic music scene. Dirty Disco 445 – New music. Welcome to another installment of your weekly electronic music podcast where I curate, mix and feature new music in. Man Without A Clue – Dwella – Clueless Music. Some of the new music highlights that you will hear are coming from these friends of the studio. Our Man Without A Clue (MWAC) from the Netherlands is about to drop his new Dwella EP on his own Clueless Music label. And has the potential to become a summer 2022 festival and club anthem. I’m pretty sure you’ll hear this tune being played on places such as Defected in Croatia, Malta but also the beautiful Island of Ibiza will bring this tune in front of thousands of people. Yonatan Rukhman – The Little Pleasures – NDYD Records. Then there is the new garage fused, funky retro house tune ‘The Little Pleasures’ by our friend from Israel: Yonatan Rukhman, who released this one on the NDYD Records label. The Little Pleasures” takes a romantic & jazzy piano sample, chops & repeats it into a groovy walk on an euphoric and pumping beat. Ideal for a walk in the park or enjoying your favorite cocktail. Idan Hana – Friends – Aterral Records. Our friend from Los Angeles, Idan Hana debuts on the Aterral Records label with a new EP titled ‘Friends’. Which is a beautiful three tracker with quality house music and a few remixes from Italian producer Black Loops. The 4AM remix by Black Loops which I will play as the ending sequence of this week’s music podcast, is a Bandcamp exclusive. The Round Up 8 – Heist Recordings. Last but definitely not least, one of my favorite house music labels ‘Heist Recordings‘ from Amsterdam run by Dam Swindle (Lars Dales and Maarten Smeets), released their annual compilation The Round Up Part 8. This compilation album features music by amazing artists that have been releasing music in 2021 on the label and are now remixing each other’s tracks for this unique compilation. Expect music from artists like Nu Disco Groove experts JKriv & Peter Matson, South American house beats by Felipe Gordon. More house music by Lore of the Samurai, Marina Trench and Makez. If you are more in your comfort-zone with laidback, low-tempo chill electronica and beats that remind you of those good old 90’s vintage p*rn movies. The new tracks by: K15, Roza Terenzi, JD, Joe Morris and Space Ghost in the first 20 minutes of this episode are for you. Solid 4×4, four to the floor dance floor burners.
