So, if you want to resolve to change, if you want to have hope and grace, then, my friends, there is only one place and person whereby we can find ultimate forgiveness. We are going to be getting directly to the Word of God on the subject of money's too tight to mention and as I unpack today's message, it's worth noting that this last week, Giving USA has released its 57th annual report on giving in America. And while there are signs of a slow recovery in charitable giving, not so for giving to religion. "Giving fell from 2009 to 2010 by 2 %, 3.6 % when you adjust for inflation, so when you add the two years together, there has been a 3.7 % drop in support for religion from 2009 to 2011, an 8.1 % drop when you factor in inflation."

But closer to home, there are many of us that need a financial miracle (don't worry, there are no forms to fill in, buckets to be passed or promises of 1,000 seed sowing increase) because many of us are 'in the soup!' We need to look back at the Scriptures for faith, hope, perseverance and miracles! It is rumoured that Obadiah was made bankrupt. Let's see what the Scriptures have to say to me and you about this today.
