This is our Sunday Sermon and today VR is unpacking a message entitled "The Man Who Just Couldn't Pay Up!" set for us in the context the catastrophic failure of global economic systems, where Christians are not immuned to the financial consequences of other peoples actions. In a time when the Bible BANS generational debt as being a pernicious evil, our Governments need to look back to the Bible for some economic direction. But closer to home, there are many of us that need a financial miracle (don't worry, there are no forms to fill in, buckets to be passed or promises of 1,000 seed sowing increase) because many of us are 'in the soup!' We need to look back at the Scriptures for faith, hope, perseverance and miracles! It is rumoured that Obadiah was made bankrupt. Let's see what the Scriptures have to say to me and you about this today.
